My nails looked amazing, the service was great, and they're using a gel technique I haven't seen at other salons I've tried around Plano and Dallas. But what really makes me want to tell people about them is the story behind the salon. It's owned by a mother-and-daughter team who took it over about a year ago, and I just have a lot of respect for what they're building. The nail salon business is so competitive, especially around here, and they've created something that feels really personal, special, and different. It's also tucked away in a neighborhood, so I think it would be really easy for people to miss unless someone tells them about it. That's a big reason I wanted to leave this review. I genuinely want to send them business because they deserve it. I'm thrilled I found them and will absolutely be back.

Everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and happy with your service. Tan, Jade, Kim, and the rest of the staff are all amazing. I recently came in for my birthday nails, and Tan put so much care and attention into every little detail to make sure they turned out perfectly. They always do, but it meant even more for such a special occasion. My work schedule can be unpredictable, so I sometimes have to call for a last-minute appointment. They have always been so patient, accommodating, and understanding, which I truly appreciate. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this salon. Beyond the beautiful nails, it's the warmth, consistency, and genuine care from everyone there that keeps me coming back. I can't recommend them enough--they absolutely deserve all the love and support.

I had visited this salon several times years ago and always had positive experiences, but after my…read moremost recent visit, I won't be returning. I called around 5:00 PM to ask about walk-in availability and was told to come in at 6:00 PM for a dip manicure and gel pedicure. Although I waited about 40 minutes before my services began--which I understood given the short notice--the experience went downhill from there. The pedicure was fine; I opted for the upgraded Signature pedicure and had no issues. Unfortunately, the manicure was extremely disappointing (see photos). The technician rushed through the service, cutting my fingers multiple times with their tools. My fingers bled during and after the manicure, and the pain persisted afterward. It was very clear the salon was closing at 7:00 PM, as the staff seemed eager to finish quickly. At one point, two technicians were working on my hands simultaneously, which only added to the rushed and careless outcome. The nails are uneven, crooked, poorly shaped, and noticeably different lengths. Because my cuticles and fingers are so sore, I'm unable to have them corrected elsewhere. I was especially disappointed given that I paid over $130 for both services. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable for the price and level of care expected.

I don't usually do designs and am usually a solid color girlie but dang he did such a great job and now I'm ready for spring. I already have my mom bookin an appointment lol. I'll definitely be returning for a mani and pedi next time! Their prices are awesome too. It was $40 for the gel manicure and $55 for designs total on 8ish nails. So glad they're in the area now! Can't wait to be back.

I had my first experience getting a professional manicure with builder gel here at Milano. Michael…read morewas the artist that worked on the design I requested and I was blown away by the experience and the results. The cuticle treatment was performed beautifully and completely painlessly (in fact, I'd found it relaxing) and I didn't have any issues with my cuticle area after leaving the establishment - the skin looks beautifully manicured as it should be and closely resembles a Russian manicure. Didn't experience any "fly-aways" at all. He was also very open and professional when it came to picking the final color of the gel - I was able to compare several options directly on my nail and take a few moments to decide on which one I wanted. For the design, I was also able to stop him in the moment and request for a different color of the metallic after he'd already designed one of the nails - this interaction was professionally handled. In the end, I was amazed by how closely my nails matched with the inspo photo, although going into the experience I was open to the idea of the artist practicing some creative freedoms with the design. I am beyond happy with the result and highly recommend anyone to book with Michael at this location. The ambiance is very cute also, the staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone is professional and I didn't feel like I was ever being up-sold or swayed towards something other than I wanted. I came with a friend, we were offered drinks of preference (coffee is delicious) and were able to socialize comfortably. Note: they don't seem to do nail sculpting, so if you come for nail extensions, they attach the tip with glue instead of building on top of a form and then removing that.
