Because I also had to remove dip and apply extensions, we started half an hour earlier so there would be enough time. Although I texted in English, I was greeted in Mandarin--as a Chinese-American, this made the whole encounter feel like I was being reprimanded in Chinese school or something. Dip removal and extension application was done systematically and skillfully. This design must have been difficult and too frustrating, because I was given excuses--I was told it was winter style and not fitting for a summer wedding. Absolutely shocking since everyone else treats brides nicely. I was also told this was completely out of style and that I should download xiaohongshu for more recent Chinese styles. (My parents worked way too hard to leave China, and I'm definitely not about to download xiaohongshu.) I stated that I don't like recent Chinese styles, and this was the style I wanted for my floral-themed wedding. Only then was I told this design was too difficult and we were running short on time, but I asked them to try their best anyway. Sometimes speaking Mandarin helps to build rapport, but on the other hand, I don't think I would have had such an awkward exchange if we had only spoken in English. Although it was allegedly out of style in China and although it doesn't look like the inspo photo, I like how it turned out. I received many compliments for my wedding as well. I might go back for another special occasion, but next time I might try someone else.

My friend had a pedicure and manicure and because I just had a pedicure back in California. I decided to have my full set of nails done. I did a quick yelp search and found the reign salon had really great reviews and mental note to self. Don't judge a book by its cover. This is a humble looking nail bar in a modest strip mall loaded with food places. I can assure you they have great staff at this location. Communication is excellent because as hard as it is to say, it's often difficult to communicate with people when their English is not that great both my friend, and I had excellent experience being able to articulate what we both desired. My friend was super pleased with her regular pedicure and gel manicure. And I highly recommend summer she may be from Waco Texas, but their loss is Plano's gain because this gal does terrific nails. summer did a full set from scratch start to finish.

I've never been to another salon where my nails didn't fall off after 2 weeks or less and cost a fortune. I've been going to Ann for over a year now and my nails will stay on for over a month easily. The usual of immersing feet in hot water, cutting trimming cuticles and buffing then back in water. Then back up to scrub the callouses on the bottom of the feet. Callous removing is not an in service but a gesture. Then scrubbing and massing feet with orange,pebbly cream. Hot towel then painting nails :) hands were done the same tho no hot water and after it was done hot towel for the hands post painting. I am reviewing after a day - still looks good !

Second time visiting and I'm just so let down I've been…read morecoming here for Gel-X, which isn't cheap, and every single time I ask for short nails--but they never actually get them as short as I need. I've explained multiple times that I'm clumsy and have an infant, so length really matters for me. It's frustrating to feel like that request is consistently ignored. This last visit, though, really took the cake. I explained that my big toenails tend to grow outward and specifically asked for them to be clipped and filed a certain way. As you can see in the photo, that didn't happen at all. Even my husband noticed immediately and was shocked at how it turned out. I also asked for extra attention on my feet because they were sore and needed it, but there was barely any focus there. Instead, most of the time was spent on my calves, which wasn't what I asked for. For the amount we spent--close to $300--this was extremely disappointing. At this point, I'll just fix it myself at home. Update***** A week later my gel x cracked they have a two week policy but I don't want to return there
