AYCE for $26. I wonder how many you can eat in 1.5 hours though.
    Donald P.

The chicken is expensive but delicious. I've only ever taken out here, but I did notice they've got an all you can eat (AYCE) option here for $26 on the weekends. Not sure how many I could eat in 1.5 hours, but I'm intrigued.

I ordered the small soy garlic combo, which came with 2 drums and 4 wings along with pickled radish, for takeout. It was delicious. The skin was nice and crispy, and the chicken was very moist. The only complaint I have is I felt like the chicken could have been coated in more sauce. But as a whole, the chicken was solid, and it is much better than the Annandale location. I will be back again in the future.

We have ordered from this Chi Mc location several times for its Korean-style fried chicken, especially the soy garlic and occasionally half-and-half. It's perfect for enjoying with friends. The pickled radish goes well with the chicken, and we love it. We've also tried the Japchae from this place, and it's delicious. The dishes are not too heavy on sauce that's too sweet or salty, and it's perfect. Highly recommend!

2 SMALL 8 Wings Lunch Special (half spicy half soy garlic) YUM!!! Each comes with a side!

Second time back and this place does not miss. The chicken is SO good and SO fresh... definitely better than bonchon (which says a lot because I loveee bonchon!) You can tell this chicken has never been frozen. It's so juicy, the meat is so white, and the crispy outside is just perfect every single bite. I definitely recommend coming here. Let the chicken speak for itself! I know I'll be back!

Prepare your taste buds! Korean fried chicken hits the spot. Chi Mc is delicious. There's no denying it. If you remember the movie Gremlins, when they're tearing it up after midnight, that's how addictive and desirable this food is. Wings or drumsticks doesn't matter, as both are great. Personally I prefer the more mild version, but occasionally the hot provides a boost. The radish with it, and their dumplings are also way above average. This one is a hit, and I'm proud to support their Burke location. What a nice restaurant it is. The small dining room, is clean and comfortable. All of the employees have been super friendly and helpful. Something righteous is going on here, as each experience has exceeded expectations. Am a tough evaluator, and my only issue is they are a bit expensive. Then again so are their competitors, such as Bon Chon, and inflation/supply side issues are real. With that being said, I like to dine in and also go the carry out method. All forms of payment are accepted, and I have no doubt you'll love this place. It is that good, and each visit I devour their delicious foods.

Yum!!! First time trying out Korean Chicken in general and this place is top-notch! Easy to-go ordering for pick-up and the food was ready when they said it would be. Chicken was hot and crispy. We ordered 1/2 honey garlic and half spicy. I'm a wimp and didn't try the spicy but the ones who did thought it had a nice kick! The honey garlic was delicious and I would order from here again. Glad this place is right around the corner from my parents when I come to visit!

Was going for Pho and decided to give this spot a try instead. Glad I did. Never had Kimchi Slaw before and it was great. Had the sandwich spicy and some seasoned fries. All great tasting! Will be back!!

Would no longer recommend due to the low quality chicken used. Tip: Take a moment to smell each piece after your initial bite.

I've never heard of this spot before, and you typically will not find me in Springfield. However, a few of us made lunch plans this past Good Friday to take advantage of the $29.99 AYCE weekday lunch pricing. We got three rounds of beef brisket (chadol), one thin & thick pork belly (samgyupsal) each, and half an order of large intestine (daechang). The chadol was a little too fatty than I'd like, but it was high quality and comparable to non-AYCE options like Meokja Meokja. I didn't love the thin samgyupsal as much, but the thick version was so meaty and juicy. The intestines were a fatty treat, and I was good with just a couple bites. We had to ask for ssamjang and sesame oil for sauces, which they were generous with giving. Our server was pretty attentive, but we thought it was weird that he cooked the thin samgyupsal and the beef brisket at the same time. As for sides, we asked for lots of them (sadly our corn cheese never came). The fermented soybean stew was strong, but a bit too salty at the end. The egg bomb was fluffy and delicious. They also have ramen (aka shin ramen) which we enjoyed by adding several pieces of chadol and letting it soak in there to get that deep meaty flavor. I enjoyed the kimchi throughout the meal, which was the perfect "not quite fresh, but still crunchy" texture. Overall, we ate to our heart's content. I definitely would be back for more chadol, thick samgypsal, and a bit of daechang in the future. The $30 pricing is a steal for the amount of food we got, but I'd hesitate to pay for the $40 dinner price. I don't eat enough at AYCE spots to get my money's worth, so I would rather spend that $40 at a non-AYCE spot for higher quality cuts like galbi and rib tips.

Easily some of the best I've had in the area in a long time, and they set the bar high going into the meal. Once we got to the meat, though, it was a little underwhelming. The all you can eat selection was limited, and a lot of the flavors leaned sweet. We were hoping for more savory, classic Korean BBQ flavors. The sauces were fine, but nothing that really stood out. If we came back, we would definitely add on the ribeye or galbi instead of sticking strictly to the all you can eat option. Service was great and attentive, and the atmosphere is solid for the Springfield area. That said, our hood vent almost came off mid grill, which definitely took away from the experience. Overall, a strong start with great banchan and service, but the BBQ itself did not quite deliver.

Great service (oddly they're all REALLY attractive Asian guys... save for the front desk girl - and I'm a straight, married, asian male), prices are great for the quality of meat and service you get (they cook for you) They come with the little appetizer plates like most Korean restaurants do, and they all have their own little twist to them, not super vanilla but still keeping to their roots and simple flavors. The green onion one was particularly memorable Our side dishes were excellent. Cheesy corn and seafood pancake. Both come out in cast iron pan, so it's piping hot and super fresh. Corn is hella cheesy and paired great with the appetizers. The seafood pancake was DENSE - really packed with seafood and not so much filler We got their combo so it came with kimchi soup and egg soufflé. The soup was very simple, very spicy. The soufflé was a nice contrast - light, fluffy, honestly almost felt like a desert. We definitely done made a mistake because for two of us, by this time the meats were ready to be cooked, we were about 60% full - and there were 4 meats to cook through We got brisket, pork belly, bulgogi, and another beef I don't remember - ended up taking about 1/3 of it home and half the pancake Our server was attentive and busy managing other tables so it's great to see all these guys staying sharp Considering how much food we took home, the bill was quite reasonable. Eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach this time tldr; fantastic kbbq served by ridiculous hot Asian guys. You need a reservation to get a table here

I'm thinking that many people who come here know already what they want, because even before we cracked open our menus, the server was immediately at our table expecting us to place our order. When we told her we weren't ready yet, she left, but came back less than a minute later and then stood there waiting for us to place our order. So I ordered the Sullangtang, which is bone broth with brisket and noodles. JP ordered the Yukgaejang, a spicy red broth with veggies and flank steak. We also ordered the fried dumplings. I don't know if the fried dumplings were vegetable or pork, but they were very good, made even better with a delicious dipping sauce. As hoped, banchan was served with our meal, but was just cubes of daikon radish (kkakdugi) and kimchi. The kkakdugi and kimchi were fresh and tasty. Even if the Sullantang recipe is traditional, I was disappointed. The broth was thin and very bland. However, I was able to jazz it up and make it into a pretty good soup by adding spoonfuls of the Yukgaejang broth and the fried dumpling sauce, plus salt and pepper. The Yukgaejang, topped with crispy noodles, was the better of the two soups. It had a lively flavor and as billed on the menu, was indeed spicy. The menu is limited, almost exclusively vegetable and beef dishes, but there is a seafood pancake and whelk (mollusk) dish. No chicken or pork dishes. Overall, our experience was decent and we would certainly consider returning. Shin Chon has plenty of off-street parking.
