    Steamed Dumplings

Probably the best Chinese food in Burke! The sauces are flavorful and the meat is always tender. I love the Mongolian Beef and the chicken skewers are delicious. It's a small restaurant inside, but it's great for carry out. The staff is always quick with orders and food can be picked up in a timely manner.

Some of the nicest people ever. I really like the folks whom own and operate this restaurant. During the pandemic, they came through big time with large take out orders. Also just kind, polite, and helpful as well. That does make a difference. Their prices have gone up. Then again everyone's has. We are living through staggering inflation. The chicken with broccoli or Szechuan chicken are my favorites. If you want a real egg roll, here is the place to go. It's a basic sit down restaurant. Their picture of Hong Kong is beautiful. Drinks are mostly of the non alcoholic if I remember correctly, but coffee is still working. Parking can be frustrating due to the Walmart crowds, but I'm happy to recommend this restaurant. A very diverse menu of choices, and all are tasty.

The House Special Lo Mein & crab rangoons are wonderful!! Definitely satisfied my craving and would come back. We ordered for pickup and the order was ready when we got there a couple minutes early. They do have a $20 minimum online order so be aware! Overall super good!

    Flavorless...

DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TERRIBLE FOOD, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND YOUR MONEY STOLEN!!!!! Was super excited to order dinner from here because it's been a while. I ordered the C. 16 General tso's dinner, meat dumplings, drunken noodles, and hot and sour soup for my boyfriend and I. When picking up, I felt so much attitude from the ladies that were running my payment and they didn't greet me, nor speak to me at all. I still left a tip though, just because I feel like it's right. When I got home, I noticed that they got my General tso's order wrong and gave me moo goo gai pan. I've never tried this before and was disappointed, but I'm always down to try new food. IT WAS AWFUL. No flavor, nasty wet chicken, and made me nauseous. I couldn't touch it. My boyfriend was kind enough to offer me some of his drunken noodles and dumplings. Once again..flavorless, soggy meat, and the most greasy thing I've ever eaten. I moved on to the dumplings because it's hard to mess up dumplings right?? Nope! This place somehow managed to even do that. No flavor in the meat whatsoever, I felt like I was biting into just nasty mush. Finally, I figured that the hot and sour soup could finally be the one good thing in this meal because I always get it and it's great! I WAS MISTAKEN. Even the hot and sour soup was terrible and tasteless. I felt so sick to my stomach after this. After some thought, my boyfriend and I packed up the food and headed back to the restaurant to get a refund because I spent $45 for trash! One lady was trying to be accommodating, however there was an older lady yelling in another language and just tossing the food around. The lady told us that next time we need to ask for more flavor, but I've been coming here for years and NEVER asked that and the food was always decent. They only refunded me for the moo goo gai pan because "that was there mistake." They didn't refund for anything else because it was half eaten. My hot and sour soup was still to the brim of the cup and they didn't refund me for that. They should have at least refunded us half the amount of the other items, if not 100% for the whole meal! I work in the service industry and I know exactly how restaurants should treat their customers and this is not right. This experience extremely frustrating, I feel like I've gotten stolen from and treated poorly. Paid $33 dollars for nothing but disappointment and an upset stomach. I will NEVER go back here and I advise everyone to steer clear. Hunan cafe down the road is so much tastier and fresh and when they messed up my mom's order, they were so apologetic and refunded her in full even when she didn't ask for that.

Good service but the food quality may have reduced. My pad thai was flavorless. And the spring rolls were lackluster.

But wait. My go-to spot suddenly closed, leaving me in a bit of a lurch! Where do I go?! We all have our favorite Chinese restaurant, and when we can't go to that one there's a little bit of a conundrum. I take American Chinese food seriously - which really means I order the same thing 98% of the time because that's my GO TO meal. As an intellectual, that is of course General Tso's chicken. Beijing Tokyo blends north and south Asia into a rather cozy, strip mall location. One person was talking obliviously on her cell phone, while the sushi Chef took orders. Until Yelp asked me if this place was romantic, I hadn't actually thought about it that way. But it is a little romantic. The tables are close together, the light is low, even if this place was full it would be... Cozy. A Chinese restaurant that's cozy is a very short leap to romantic. You can have a conversation here. I ordered my usual and waited about 10 minutes. The GTC was excellent. It had spice and flavor, but not too spicy. The fried rice was delicious. Good portion size and a good price. Two egg rolls and the total came to $25.25. No surprises, nothing out of the ordinary. If you had told me this had come from my favorite- now sadly closed - Chinese restaurant, I would have never known the difference. And there in lies what I think makes a good Chinese restaurant: predictability. American Chinese food is a distinct cuisine with the same menus, the same waving Buddah and melamine plates. The difference is quality, and the taste of your favorite meal. I am sad that my favorite place closed, but Beijing Tokyo is my new Chinese food restaurant, and I think it's pretty darn good.

The place itself is quite small for dine in, but I'm pretty sure that's not their target so we were able to get a seat for 2 pretty easily on a Friday evening. We got mostly "ABC" comfort foods - orange chicken, Yangzhou fried rice, Singapore rice noodles - and an order of their dumplings in spicy sauce (a bit surprising as it's a more northern China style compared to the rest of menu). It was definitely a bit much for just 2 of us but we intended to take home leftovers. All of it was delicious, cooked to spec, but what really makes them stand out is their superior "wok-hei"; it is the soul of wok-style dishes and compliments to the chef(s) - they absolutely know their craft and it shines in the flavor. This craftsmanship is lost in the new generation and it's a real treat to see it preserved here out of all places. Dumplings were splendid. Juicy and handmade, definitely hits that nostalgic nook from the back of your head. tldr; charming Chinese takeout spot with superb wok-hei in their dishes

The place was filling up and the ambiance reminds me of a traditional bustling noodle house - perfect for the cold snap we were experiencing at the time. We got hot and sour noodle soup, sichuan beef noodle soup, and an order of their pork soup dumplings. Portions are generous and prices are fair, it's easy to become a regular here if you live nearby. The hot and sour noodle soup is as advertised - just enough spice to complement the sour, but not overwhelm to make it feel like mala. It's served, as expected, with glass noodles, some bak choi, and some pork slices. Nothing spectacular but par for the course. The sichuan beef noodle foon soup was slight notch better. The broth gives really warm vibe and you can tell it's been brothing for a long time. Again just the right amount of spicy to make you keep slurping for more. The noodles were average, chewy, but not bouncy. Also comes with a healthy amount beef slices and bak choi. Again - a great noodle soup bowl but nothing jaw dropping. Soup dumplings were fantastic, however. The pork definitely has its own marinade and the soup is flavorful. The dumpling skin is well constructed and complemented well with the noodle soups - especially in cold weather. tldr; solid noodle soup spot, they seem to be consistent and really hits the mark when you're in a for your noodle fix.
