The shopping center recently went through a capital improvement to the entire parking lot / storefront and it looks 100x better. Wow! This is the Vietnamese restaurant that only gets better with time. I have been here ~7 times now with different friends and family. The owner is incredibly friendly and personable. He is an avid charity supporter and donates to local causes. The food is all prepared efficiently and in a timely manner. The servers are very friendly and attentive to your needs. We usually get the chicken fried rice and top it off with their homemade pepper sauce. The pho is also delicious. Their menu is very large and relatively affordable. I believe it's under new management as of August 2024. They have seafood dishes now along with traditional Vietnamese food (pho, rice dishes). Been exploring more of our "local" spots in Fairfax and discovered this spot on our search for pho in the area. It's in a strip mall so plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is super clean and very cute. The staff is super friendly and made sure to ask if we would like forks or chopsticks. We used chopsticks, but I just thought it made the place feel more welcoming to people who may want to try Vietnamese food. I LOVE that they had different versions of the rice paper wrapped "summer rolls" I'm allergic to shrimp so I was excited to order the winter rolls which had grilled pork instead. This place offers everything from sandwiches to seafood along with rice and noodle dishes. Their beef carpaccio (Bo Tai Chanh) is the best I've had. The crawfish with garlic butter was fresh and flavorful. The grilled lamb chop was phenomenal, as it was juicy and tender and not gamy. The staffs were friendly and attentive. I had the pleasure of eating at Pho Saigon 75 in the Twinbrook Shopping Center in Fairfax (9535 Braddock Road). This restaurant is a real find. I ordered two appetizers - - two beautifully prepared summer rolls and two winter rolls - - and a rice/pork dish, and each was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Each of the rolls comes with a tasty dipping sauce. The rice/pork dish (#76 if you go) was spiced perfectly and was served with cucumber, tomato and marinated carrots (oh so delicious). The owners of the restaurant were so friendly and helpful and made me feel welcomed. And, to boot, the washrooms were impeccably clean, I didn't try the "pho" this time but will definitely do so my next visit. I'm not sure what happened here. The food is just completely different and the portions were abnormally small. They even charged us for the togo containers. I ordered takeout specifically because they had banh mi on their menu. The banh mi was super flavorful. I had the grilled chicken banh mi and it totally activated all of my flavor buds. There were more jalapeños than I expected, thus making it spicier than expected, but since I love spice, I was ok with it. While we didn't order any pho (not a fan,personally, of take out pho), we did order one of the fried beef dishes, which was also flavorful and quite a nice size portion wise. Today, I decided to check out a pho place close by to my house. A lot of my friends were hungover, so pho was our go to remedy to help our souls. When we went in, we got seated immediately, which was great! I got a summer roll, and the P30, which was the PS75 Special. The food came out pretty quickly and the pho was really good. The broth was excellent and the summer rolls were so delicious! The staff was really friendly too. She asked us how the food was when we were paying afterwards. I'm honestly not much of a pho girl. I very much prefer ramen over pho. But my sister and my mom love pho, and my cousin was visiting, so I said why not! Especially since this restaurant is very close to my home. I ordered the pan fried noodles with beef and veggies. Unfortunately, I burnt myself really bad on the sauce. There was no warning on how hot it was going to be, and it was bad--I teared up and had to hold my lip against my water cup, for the cold to soothe the pain. To make it cool down a bit faster and release some heat, I mixed everything together. THIS is when I noticed that that the noodles weren't loose at all, which is what I was expecting. It was more like pizza slices of noodles that had been fried. I'm not being too critical of this because the food was still good. I don't have experience with pan fried dishes at pho restaurants, where I feel like I can voice my opinion on whether it should have been like that or not...but it definitely wasn't what I was expecting. Regardless, the food was really good. Ambiance and all, it was pretty perfect for a Sunday family dinner. It's been two year at least since I last visited this spot and upon entry; something was different - the interior styling and the lack of greeters. I'm accustom to the old management where nice Asian ladies smiled and greeted you upon entry. I was explaining what I used to order yet the cashier and cook were attempting to understand- as the old management cooked their dry noodles with hard with egg - but this time I literally got dry cooked noodles. The Pho was similar but the protein portions were skimpy. I would state the customer service was phenomenal and even offered a glass of water while my food was being prepared and kindly stocked me up with condiments so I may adequately spice my food to my liking.
