Biscuits and gravy (top), potatoes and gravy bottom.

Opens early for patrons who want to get in the road for an adventure. Good sized portions (some shareable) and excellent prices, everyone in our group was happy with their choice. 2 Biscuits and gravy as well as the potatoes and gravy are both huge. We took the leftovers back to our condo. Coffee was just okay. Friendly service, clean space if but a little old and worn. Dining inside or out. Street parking.

Veggie omelette done as a scramble with generous serving of hash browns & toast

This is a classic breakfast diner that opens early and has a least one table full of local coffee codgers ( it's a good thing!) Our waitress, the only waitress, was a pro; friendly & proficient at her tasks. The place is smallish, clean, a tad worn (the padding in my chair was flattened out from use/age). Simple menu, generous portions, diner coffee.

Excellent food all homemade terrific prices. I got a three egg omelette vegetarian plus a gigantic cinnamon roll for $21. Unbelievable. I had enough to take home and have a snack for dinner and then breakfast the next day and it taste great. Service everybody was so nice and personable and the ambience you can see in the pictures for yourself. A good old-fashioned country restaurant.

    Meadow muffin

Friendly folks but a tad slow on service if you're in a hurry. Food is good! Typical cafe fare. We had the BLT on sourdough with fries and the Meadow Muffin. The BLT was delicious and the battered fries were hot and crispy! The Meadow muffin was a bit plain, plenty of ham cheese and hash browns built up in two English muffin slices, a real filler of a meal, no way could we finish it! It's a great place to meet up with a group of friends for breakfast or lunch!!

Camas Dining Room - Not the pancakes we expected. Kids complained they tasted burnt. This was NOT a kids meal.

We stopped in for breakfast on a recent visit to Wallowa Lake. We had wanted to grab breakfast at…read morethe Blythe Cricket but it was closed on Mondays (even the 3rd of July). I love the Wallowa Lake lodge so I convinced my family to go there for a rare breakfast out before leaving town. We arrived and it was nearly completely empty(I should have taken that as a sign). I opted to sit outside since I love the porch and the backyard with its view of the creek. Our waitress was so cute and friendly but all of the menu items listed sourdough and she mentioned when I ordered (last of the group of 6) that they hadn't received their shipment of sourdough so the only option for bread was rye(which is odd since rye bread does not appear on the menu at all). She let me sub toast for a biscuit. The wait time was lengthy and when the food arrived it was mid. I ordered the veggie omelette, it was small and bland-not bad once salted but not generous in portion or well flavored. My biscuit, however, was the best part of the meal-flaky and a decent size. Our kids ordered pancakes and they looked (and tasted) burnt-like they had been cooked in a pan after cooking bacon-but no bacon flavor. My husband ordered the lumberjack and it would only satisfy an anemic lumberjack. It looked like only one egg was used for his scrambled eggs. The parking is convenient but I would def pass on breakfast here. It's edible but nothing special.

Breakfast at the lodge can't be beat. Friendly staff and it's within walking distance from our…read moreplace. The food is delicious. I just wish it was open year round.
