Super cute bakery with a decent variety of pastries and food. I stopped in for lunch and the offer paninis, hoagies, salads and all day breakfast. I ordered the flora fowl panini and it was good. However, I had bad stomach cramps a couple hours later. It could have been the cheese. The employees were nice and it was a comfortable restaurant to eat in. When our motel's breakfast room failed to open on time, we sought other options in town. There aren't many and Sugar Time is the best of the lot. - Cool space; easy to sit and drink coffee while you wait. - Speaking of waiting, although it wasn't busy at all, we had to wait quite a while for our food. Not super long like another Yelper commented but long enough I wondered whether they'd lost the order. - Decent food. The veggie quiche is small but tasty; the breakfast burrito maybe less so. I was on vacation in Enterprise Oregon, (Eastern Oregon). Well a local suggested this place and well like I said in some of my other reviews. The locals are so amazing and kind. This place was absolutely amazing. The food was great and the sandwich my girlfriend has (she loved) I had hash-browns eggs and the huge sausages that actually the best I've had in many years. The lighting was bright and easy on the eyes. They even have all kinds of dessert. I had a delicious lemon tart and I loved it. Good flavor. Again I will highly recommend this little gem that will make a huge splash on your taste buds. So if you're in that neck of the state. Make this a place to eat. I did and I will again. read more

This was one of the few places open during the winter months for breakfast. Everything here was delicious. The breakfast burritos were big enough to share and were pretty tasty. However what got us were the cinnamon rolls. They were some of the best we'd ever had. Perfectly baked, the centers were cooked all the way through without being hard, the frosting on the top was the perfect amount without overpowering the rest of it. We also tried a few of the other baked goods. All of them were delicious and the perfectly made. We liked it so much that we went back the next day. read more

A cute small town cafe in a historical building. I didn't try the coffee but the food is super tasty. My only complaint is having a hard time deciding on what to eat here. Berry scones are light and buttery. Orange roll was fresh and citrusy. The breakfast burritos are excellent. Packed with fillings and served with side of various fruits. Quiche was good too. Stopped in to grab some coffee and pastries but got sidetracked and ordered sandwiches instead. I need to mention that I ordered the half-size and they were more than enough. The paninis were delicious, even though we ate them about two hours down the road. The turkey was fresh, not some presliced nonsense, the bread was fresh baked and grilled to perfection, and the overall flavor of the Flora was spot on. The young lady who took our order was super friendly and helpful, answering questions without any attitude, just very pleasant. When I asked about how long it might be, as they were fairly busy, she checked and told me 10-15, and it was ready in about 10 minutes. Savory & sweet scones are quite delicious. And the ham & cheese breakfast panini is large enough to be both breakfast and lunch. The pumpkin pie was pretty good too. It was disappointing that the staff were not wearing masks. I think the community at large doesn't believe in mask wearing so businesses walk a fine line. read more

We went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We had had some cheesecake of theirs and knew it was very tasty. We got there made our order of one burrito breakfast burrito and waited and waited and waited then, after almost an hour, we went and asked how much longer would it be and they said somewhere between 15 and 30 minutes there was an order before hours. I'm sure the food is good but there's no excuse for-waiting an hour and 15 +minutes for a breakfast burrito. They should've told us the wait time as we ordered! read more

In town for my birthday and my fiancés. Me being a baker with my father for years, We crave baked goods when we are out of town and on vacations. My mother in law said this was the place. We walked in and up to the counter to stand behind the only customer up order at that moment and started looking at what may be left. As we do this a man and his wife decide that we are in an open bubble now and he wanted to share mine. Standing 6" from my back I politely turned around and asked him to give me space. After being looked up and down, no reply, he moves back one step. Now, let's get to the actual problems... your baked goods and cashier. First off your cashier who has no emotion or greeting potential what do ever. We are ready to order, waiting while she shuffled thru pens and papers (while using an IPad) and then just stops and stars at us. About 5 seconds of me and her starring at one another I finally say, and loudly " Hi, how are you today!" To which I get "good." Felt very welcoming... So we order these muffin/cupcake things that are mocha and lemon blueberry. Couldn't have ruined either one anymore with all the icing on top and the fact that they were boarder line frozen. Maybe too cold in the cooler. Also pie, don't do it. Not worth even taking home to re heat. Filling is granulated and crust okay. Just another shari's special. Definitely will not be going back. Definitely feel the locals only vibe so it's all yours. Definitely think it's time someone came in and supported the people as a whole (enterprise, wallowa, Joseph) with great food, great service and just happy smiling people. Probably closer to a 3.5 the the place itself was cute and unexpected. We got a combo of two sweets and two savories. The panini was good and so was the berry bar. It was good overall but nothing over the top. Would go again. read more

First place on our list to try and everyone wanted to go back for every meal, everyday! I will say this is a hot spot in town and it shows, while we were dining for lunch there was a constant flow of customers dining in and take out, that being said they never fell behind in service! It was prompt friendly service! Unique menu items that are sure to please, the portions are large (we just ordered half meals) and everything from sandwich fixings to side fruit was extremely fresh and very tasty. Now on to dessert, I wish we could have tasted everything!!! Beautifully displayed! Extremely Large Sugar cookies had a very delicate taste, not to sweet! The lemon bar was everyone's favorite! Was just passing through town and saw this little bakery. I was in search of coffee and got that and so much more! They have a delicious breakfast menu and incredible desserts. Let me preface by saying I really enjoy Sugar Time's food! It's tasty and good! BUT, twice now I've found hair in my food!! First a short curly black one and then two long blonde hair inside my sandwich.... I'm a brunette so I know wasn't mine! I'm sorry but that is just disgusting; please wear hairnets and make sure you aren't shedding on the food you serve! Also the waitress was pretty obnoxious, certainly didn't help the experience. Smelled wonderful the sign on the door said breakfast till 4. So I decided to go in. Ahhh it appears the breakfast served till 4 is basically pastries all other stops at 10:30. Disappointed I opted for a half size sandwich and splurged on a scone because I do try to eat healthy on most occasions. I ended up with a full size over cooked hard as a rock panini that had 3x more bread and 1 very thin slice of meat and cheese; the scone which should have been the icing on the cake was dry and tasted old.
