I brew cold brew myself, and I would say that it's on par with mine. Most of the time, when I buy it out, it is what I would call gut rot. This service has been really good. The servers are very young, but very polite and very quick. I like the ambiance of the shop. It is clean and well lit. There's a comfortable seating area in the back inside, and there's also seating out front on the main street. I'm in Joseph for another four or five days. Usually, when I eat at a restaurant in a mountainous area, the food just isn't very fresh. This restaurant was the exception; the food was very fresh. The taco salad had real pulled pork on it and lots of fresh greens. My friend's mother had the Hawaiian chicken sandwich and fries, and she said it was delicious. The service was very good here. We did not arrive until roughly 40 minutes before closing. That did not stop the staff from politely serving us a quality dinner, which I really appreciate. We sat in the back, outside, at their outdoor seating, which was very nice cause it was a warm night, and we had a decently large party of nine people. I will definitely eat here again when I'm back vacationing at Wallowa Lake.

Easy walking distance between all of the lodges on the south end. I got the veggie patty on the ortega pepperjack burger and was blown away! Delicious, I need to figure out where to find ortega peppers! (I've just looked it up and all I can find online is it's a brand of died canned peppers but this was a large slice, so I'm really not sure now. I think must be similar to an anaheim. But either way, great burger!)
