My wife and I, along with two friends, had a marvelous lunch. There's a picnic area outside with picnic tables and umbrellas situated on the front lawn with a pleasant little stream and some large rocks. There's a bar inside and outside. Perfect for a convivial friends meet up so kickback, beer buzz through the craft brew tap list and eat up. Food is great. They have local Enterprise 100% grass fed Carmen Ranch beef or Stangle bison. Wife loved classic bison with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo on a fresh ciabatta bun. I loved the spicy Jack bison topped with charred, jalapeño, relish, Diablo sauce, pepper, jack, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. Big side salad with several choices of dressings. Great ambience and service with cold tasty craft brews and delicious grub! read more

Darling place however we arrived before 3pm (website says they are open 11am-8pm) and guests were rudely welcomed. so many ways to say we aren't open yet... feel free to sit down, play corn hole, use the restroom, etc... instead a gal (curly bobbed hair) said - we aren't opened yet. A customer, says, Oh your not open yet?". TG gal says, we don't open until 3pm. not since at all. Not welcoming once open, not clear if we order inside or outside. not helpful and really unkind. read more

When we arrived, it wasn't clear where or how to order. We waited at the bar for a while before being told we could either order there or use a QR code. After sitting down, we realized there was no QR code so we had to go back and wait. The beer was underwhelming, the IPA in particular was disappointing. After ordering, we were told the food would take about 40 minutes, but it ended up taking an hour and 20 minutes. When it was finally ready, we had to go pick it up ourselves and carry it back across the creek. Given the lack of service, it's unclear why a tip is expected. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it, both the burger and BLT were mediocre, and everything arrived cold. Overall, takes a long time and there are much better options in town. read more

First the pros: - cute place off the beaten path - beer is good - food is decent - dog friendly and outside - bathrooms clean and had AC Cons: - HORRIBLE service - came at 2pm...our food took 1 hour and 20 minutes from ordering to arrive. This is not acceptable. No warning from the hostess or waitress. When I asked about it I just got a "oh yeah our wait times went up" response and zero apology - my friend ordered her burger plain with no sauce and after all that time it came with sauce on it. -GET Your kitchen together - The wait staff need some training as well.. was never offered a refill on my beer after I finished it and in the hour and 20 minutes we were checked in on ZERO times. No apology for the delays. Nothing Sadly I can't say I'll be back. read more

I was staying in Joseph but decided to take the short drive over to this spot since the places in Joseph were packed and I wanted to eat outside. I'm so glad I did! They have a tremendous outdoor space with plenty of tables and even a small creek flowing gently through the yard. The tables are spaced far apart so I never felt crowded. They have a great selection of beers they brew themselves. I enjoyed the Pilsner as well as a sample of their Porter. Food was also great. I enjoyed the Black Bean bowl and came back the next night for the Smash Burger. Service was super friendly. If I find myself back in Joseph someday, I'll definitely return. It's definitely worth the short drive from Joseph! read more

Solid. Really solid. Good food. Super friendly people. And great beer. Oh, and the beer garden outdoor area is a great place to relax and afternoon away. The best thing on the menu - and honestly, everything is good - is the burger. Nice accompaniments and fresh rolls, complement the high quality beef. If I had one "to consider" bit of feedback, the indoor space is small and can get super loud. Especially if there are families with young kids. read more

What a sweet find! Tasty beers and a great outdoor seating area with tables/umbrellas and Adirondack chairs by the creek for those perfect summer days. There is deck seating as well as inside at the bar, but not much space. Maybe 15 seats total. Plenty of parking. It is dog and family friendly. There is food, though we didn't try any ourselves. read more

Four of us ate dinner at Terminal Gravity outside on the porch overlooking the picnic table and creek area. Three of us had burgers with beef from the local Carmen Ranch. It was so flavorful, I highly recommend it. The fourth person had a steak pita which was also delicious. We highly recommend the restaurant for the quality of food. Drinks included ciders and beer. It took 45 minutes to get our meal, so don't expect a fast meal. Like every place in the area, they are always short handed. read more

Super cool place. Tucked away in Enterprise Ore. Lovely staff. And food is good. The brewers salad is fresh. Nice portion for a half with adding chicken. Second night the burrito bowl is great. Black beans, rice, chicken, guacamole, shredded cheese. Fresh salsa. So tasty and filling. Lots of beer choices too. Love the whole set up and vibe. Hope to get in a couple more visits before leaving town. read more

Terminal Gravity makes some of my favorite beer so it was a no-brainer to stop in while visiting Enterprise. Probably not my favorite pub though; it's more like an outdoor beer garden. - Great location. - Lots of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. - Almost no inside seating. I like sitting at the bar when I go to a pub - not here. They do have some seats/tables under cover around the side and on the porch but it's not the same. - Solid food menu. - Good service; nice folks. - They have cats. read more

Waited for over an hour for a table, then Waited over 90 minutes for our food so asked for it to be boxed up to go. Waited another 20 minutes for them to box it up and then our order was wrong. Asked for a refund twice and was ignored then finally got our food. Cold and tough steak bites were the topper to the marathon. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Hot dogs in the camper would have been better. read more

Super cute spot brought sis and the dogger here on a road-trip. First time Gus-Gus got to eat in a restaurant and he gave 5 paws up for the buffalo sis had the Brewers salad and the lettuce was less than crisp, eggs shells on the egg and way overdressed. I really wanted to try the blackberry and goat cheese salad but, they were out. Very nice server who was attentive. I'd give them another shot someday because it is super cute and the IPA was pretty good. read more

Went here on Friday night. This place is bomb dot com. Menue had pictures. Super dog friendly (they had a dog menue). Food was amazing. We ordered the smash burger and beer mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was to die for. To top it off, the atmosphere was a hit. Beautiful property with a tiny creek running through. Corn hole to play while waiting. Only draw back was the long wait time. Definitely is a must visit if you have the time to wait. read more

This is a must-stop every time we travel to the Enterprise / Joseph area. While probably most famous for its beer, we love Terminal's creative menu and delicious food. First time here. It has been recommended many times. It is definitely unique and quaint, but in a pretty cool way. Sat on the covered porch while it was 29° outside and stayed toasty. The service was super friendly, accommodating, attentive, but relaxed and not rushed. I must say, the burger was in the top 10 of all time. For bison it was much more moist than normal and very tender. My wife had beef stew and raved about it. One of the best breweries I've been to. Stellar service, beautiful yard, great food and brews.

I've heard about Terminal Gravity for quite a while and the opportunity arose at last for me to try some of their beers. I'm happy to report this beer experience was a good one! I had three different beers from this brewery, all which were very solid. My favorite was the first one we tried however. This was the Extra Special Golden. This was a great golden ale with sweet, dry and maltiness going on all at once combining a very unique and fun beer to drink! The next beer was the Fuggetaboutit, a hazy pale ale which was good! Noticeable flavor features is hoppiness, jucines and notes of floral. The final beer was the was Hop Vault Series No. 3 : Juicy IPA. This had a lot going on but was a really good balanced beer with it's notes of melon, pine, bitterness and citrus. This too was a fun beer to enjoy drinking. Good experience with this brewery and hoping I can get a chance to try more of their beers further down the road. read more

Solid choice. Had a Reuben on GF that was delicious and the bun nicely held up to the heft of the fillings. Did a side salad instead of chips, fresh greens, nicely flavored wasabi dressing, Asian inspired. Definitely would go back. read more

Terminal Gravity is clearly making a strong post-COVID recovery which is heartening for me and my husband who have been visiting every year. We visited in October 2023 and got outstanding service and I had one of the best salads I've ever eaten. I believe it was a warm butternut squash salad or something (this review is being written in January 2024). I'm really impressed with Terminal Gravity, COVID lockdown was terrifying for so many service-based businesses like this, and especially in an area with such low population density. It's exciting to see them coming back alive stronger than ever. read more

Came with the kids while visiting Wallowa Lake. The beer -- especially IPAS and pale ale were so satisfying and tasted so traditional and classic In the best possible way. Really nice outdoor space for the kids to run around. Our server was very nice as well. Only complaints were our food took much longer than everyone around us and lots of flies but I know they can't do much about that outside! It's just the season. The food was brew pub worthy but not much else to write home about the food. It's what I'd expect. read more

Well, yet another exemplary trip to "The Middle of Nowhere, Center of the Universe!" Food is fabulous as always; burgers are spot on and my wife had a "dinner" salad with chicken that was enough for two! Great selection of beers, both hoppy and not so hoppy. This restaurant came highly recommended from friends and the Internet. And rightly so! We were glad we stopped here after being in the car for a long time driving to Joseph. We were three families with a bunch of kids so needed a big table. And it was memorial day weekend. But we easily got a table! The service was quick and very pleasant too. Some food was good, some was ok. But it was just the atmosphere that was enjoyed the most. Kids barely sat on the table. There was lots for them to stay occupied. Even grown ups played some bean bag toss etc. read more

Waited 25 minutes for a self service table. Got seated. Waited 1 hr 15 minutes for our butter noodles and cheese Quesadillas. Watched the waiter apologize and comp another table some food because it was late. I had 4 children with me. I asked to be refunded and comped something since I already tipped 20% on the meal. They said the hostess said she had told us there would be over an hour wait. They cannot comp us anything. They said they trust the host who is brand new not the moms with 4 kids. Don't eat here. Unfriendly staff. Go to Joseph I don't like being called a liar. Manager never came out. DONT COME IF YOU ARE THIRSTY or HUNGRY. read more

We enjoyed a wonderful meal and drinks on the lawn to celebrate my birthday. Even though we had to wait to be seated, there were extra chairs to sit in for the wait and we could order apps and brews from the window. The brews were spot on as usual and the chips and mango salsa were delicious. Dinner was nice, but the kitchen was backed up so it was a bit slow. However, the wait staff was excellent in communicating and offering additional apps and beverages.I ordered the Mac n Cheese with pulled pork and by the time it got to the table it was a bit cold, but still flavorful. My friends both ordered the pulled pork tacos and enjoyed them, although they were a bit spicy for one of them. We took dessert to go and it was delicious. Thanks TG! read more

We are in from out of town on vacation from Portland Oregon. We have been here for 5 days now and this evenings dinner will be our sixth time eating here. Tonight I had the TG brewers salad with steak and this was the best salad I have ever had. I have had so many bison burgers I think I feel myself turning into one. The kombucha on tap is the best kombucha I have ever had. They have awesome outdoor seating and the servers are on point. All of the employees are following COVID-19 guidelines. We are in Wallowa County for a short vacation. Went to Terminal Gravity on Monday, 7/15, and had a great meal. My husband had the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich and I had a half size Caesar Salad with Shrimp. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The salad was the best Caesar that I'd ever had. Lots of fresh green Romaine, at least a couple dozen large shavings of Parmesan, several tablespoons of toasted bread crumbs, creamy Caesar dressing, and a half dozen well-charred and tasty shrimp. I liked it so much, we went back today and ordered takeout. I ordered the same Caesar salad and my husband ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger. We were told 20-25 minutes. Our order wasn't ready until over 50 minutes later! My husband enjoyed his burger. My salad was nothing like the same salad that I ordered two days before, though. Romaine and shrimp were mostly same as before (thank goodness) , but there was just a measly 1/2 teaspoon of toasted crumbs, no more than 6 small Parmesan shavings, and very runny Caesar dressing (not creamy at all!). It's these extras that make or break a salad. Lousy quality control and a big disappointment on the second try with the same menu item. read more

The local bison burger is the best burger I've ever eaten. Cooked just right, super juicy. Very fresh bun, nice and spicy with the jalepenos, it just couldn't have gotten any better. The slaw on the side was a generous portion, but don't know that I'd pay extra for it again just cause it had too much cumin (not a fan) in it. Otherwise TG is a must stop when through the Wallowa Valley. Great atmosphere outside, great service, and they're doing a good job of taking Covid-19 seriously and keeping everyone safe, which I appreciate. Oh, and of course the beer is fantastic as always. Not quite the hot darling around the state they were 5-10 years ago, but still one of my favorite IPA's, and all the others are top-notch too. Can't go wrong here. Awesome food, awesome beer, awesome setting. Wish they had one closer to Portland. read more

I'll say the Rueben was great, but I'd avoid the beer mac and cheese that was just dry and awful. Now my real complaint is the lack of a fryer, getting a burger or a sandwich really needs some good fries not kettle chips out of a bag. read more

We were a little bit leery after reading some of the reviews, but decided to give the place a shot anyway. We reserved a table through the website; I love that feature where I don't have to talk to anyone. Once we arrived (20 min early) they had a table ready for us early. Everyone sits outside because of social distancing and the area is beautiful with a tiny stream going through it. I wonder though how this will work once the weather gets cooler. The waitress was very nice and friendly. They gave us our drinks quickly, and came for our food order shortly after. We ordered two "shareables"; the shrimp and the mushrooms. One bison peperjack jalapeño burger, one chicken Swiss burger and a kids grilled cheese with half a portion of the beer mac n cheese. Despite some of the reviews, we were served within 20 min. There only seemed to be two waitresses altogether but the one serving us was very attentive and we were never missing anything. The food is great and overall and the portion size is big, which leaves for food to take home. We are happy we decided to go eat here. My kid is in love with the beer mac n cheese, and he's going to want more of that. Prices are a little on the heavy side, but we definitely recommend. 5 stars: Food 5, service 4, pricing 3. read more

Fun environment; a little creek flows through a seating area with picnic tables. Food was good and good variety of beer on tap.

Went here for drinks and dinner - since covid, going out to eat isn't always a great experience, but this was. All the staff members were wearing masks, and they had signs up for customers to do the same and keep a 6ft distance - the signs were all funny and much more engaging than the regular signs. It was just a nice touch. The outdoor area is beautiful, the seating is well spaced and the whole area is really well presented. The food was also very good - we had the beet Reuben, hummus plate and beer Mac n cheese. It was all delicious! The only negative was the carrots of the hummus plate - they were soggy like maybe they'd been canned? But you know, 4 soggy carrots won't be what I remember from this place.
