We showed up around 5:30 on a Tuesday and this place was packed! Great, friendly, lively vibe, felt like a mix of locals and skiers/snowmobilers coming from their outdoor adventure. We had to wait for a bit for a table, but it was worth it. The children had hamburgers and the hot dog from the kids meal-- solid burger and good fries. No complaints, empty plates. I had the Yellow Curry .... The best....so good....I wish I was eating it right now, that delicious! Tons of flavor, some spice so keep that in mind if a little heat bothers you. My partner had the chicken pot pie.... He had no complaints, cozy and flavorful and was also super excited that it came with an arugula side salad. Brewery was nice and open with seating outside. No wait at 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon. Happy hour is 3-6 pm. $1 off small bites and pint glasses. Not the greatest deal but at least a deal. The service was good, not fast but it was good after we finally got our server. The food the okay, bar food. Best thing was the fries in my opinion. Cheese sauce for the pretzel got cold too quickly and solidified and was hard to eat with the pretzel. Beer was tasty but only slightly coffee flavored. Decent brewery, the food was just decent but we also didn't get any entrees, just apps. We sat in the patio which has a nice view of the lake and the place is dog friendly which is a plus. they have a rooftop patio too which we didn't sit at but it's a nice option. We ordered some beers, which were pretty good! Only one complaint about a beer being too sour. They also accommodated us by adding vodka to the huckleberry lemonade as it was a N/A cocktail. We were a party of 6 visiting Maccall for camping and fishing. Stopped by this brewery since the Broken Horn was closed. Ordered 6 different beers and a few appetizers. Beers were top notch. Shiver IPA was delicious. Huckleberry Lemonade was delicious. Fried pickles and French fries were very good. Pretzel was also good, but wished they had honey mustard sauce to go with. Then we came into town and I was excited to have a great meal only to realize they have removed the Mac and cheese. I was heavily disappointed. This place was super cool and love the lake view as well in the outdoor seating. As you enter you are greeted and they are oh so friendly. We got a flight of beers and they were delicious & if you want one that you loved they make a Can for you to take home. Their food was delicious. We had their Elk burger and their fries were very good and had the burger with a side of pickles. The ambiance was fun, they had the TV's in the bar area and then they had regular sitting area as well to enjoy your meal. Their outdoor seating is fun you get fun views but it was a bit cold for us to be out there and it was nice and cozy inside. This was our first stop in McCall and it was worth the stop. I got the Thai Beef Basil bowl - it was amazing!!! Sorry I forgot to take a pic of this work of art. The flavors were a burst of flavor in your mouth with each bite. Service was excellent despite we had to sit at the bar- some people seem to camp out so go early to get a seat. We went here after a tough hike and looked forward to a good beer as reward for our efforts. The beer didn't disappoint. It was refreshing and well crafted. They have a good selection to choose from and also wine, mixed drinks and non alcoholic choices. We sat on the back patio which is covered and protected us from the rain until the wind seriously picked up. The staff quickly moved everyone inside and accommodated us all very well. It was comfortable both inside and out. Hubby had the elk burger and said it was tasty. He asked for it to be cooked to medium rare and the temp was right but the meat was very tough. Good thing it was flavorful. I had the baby back ribs. They were very dry and overcooked. It looked like they had been cooked well prior and heated up for the order. That's pretty common but these were way too dry and overcooked. I give them maybe 3 stars for the food, but the service made up for it. read more

Super disappointing, almost every meal we had did not come as described on the menu (picture for example, pesto on brat that was supposed to have ground mustard). There is an upstairs, although the "same place" upstairs is reservations and not the same menu. Would not recommend, skip it and try another place. read more

Cool brewery steps away from payette lake. A nice place to feel the cool, lake breeze on a warm day. Some friends and I came by during a weekend trip. We showed up to a busy crowd, but luckily found an outdoor table. We enjoyed the available activities such as corn hole and board games. For food, I was super impressed with the bacon burger, and is the best I've had in town. The chips were fine but would definitely be completed with some fries. My friends thought their salads were refreshing and tasty. We had a couple drinks that definitely hit the spot. One thing, be prepared to service yourself on busy days, they seem to not be active with guests. For example, there's a water station inside where you'll have to refill your own water back and forth -- which can be annoying on a busy day with long crowded lines. read more
