I'm so disappointed in this place, this is the second time that this car wash has let me down. I like using this place because it's low car friendly, I brought a white car here a couple of weeks ago and the car was still filthy. I ended up hitting it with detail spray and making the best of it, last night I decided my black car needed a wash. So I pull up and pay the 9 bucks for their best wash, my car wasn't filthy but I figured their best wash would insure a good result. I even went as far as to spray the wheels with a tire/wheel cleaner before pulling in. The wash does it's thing and I noticed that the timer for the dryer starts before you're even giving the green light to pull forward. Any who I go through the big hair dryers and pull up next to a vacuum to dry the rest of the car. I was so mad that i didn't even vacuum my car, PLENTY of dry dirty spots. The water pressure is non existent at best and as a result my car wasn't washed correctly, It took everything in me to not go inside the gas station and ask for a refund. For 9 dollars I would've been better off washing it myself at a coin operated spot. Never again read more

The gas pump works just fine :) However rude costumer service. My first time going to this gas station. I went to get a Carwash and it didn't start for me. So I went inside to ask for help. The guy right away got rude with me. I'm a very happy pleasant person. I wasn't upset or anything. I simply wanted some assistance getting the car wash to start for me. So I was taken by surprised by his tone of voice and comments. He was talking to me like I was stupid. I haven't ever experienced this kind of service. I just stayed calm. Asked again if he could please help. He did and there was a long line of cars now ahead of me. While I was waiting few other people had issues with the car wash. He had to come out and help them. I decide to check yelp. After reading the reviews on yelp. I see clearly I'm not the only person having issues with the car wash. Maybe he just gets frustrated with so many people having issues. I still didn't appreciate the attitude. :/ Maybe the management should post clear instructions on how this particular car wash works. So the gas station attendants don't get all frustrated. I use other drive thru car washes all the time. I don't have any issues. They have clear instructions and work fine. Well after sitting in the long line backed up with others having issues. I ended up just backing out since I was the last person in line. I got a refund!! Total waste of time. Went for a car wash and they just have sprayers, no noodles, nothing to get dirt off. The dryer didn't even dry the car. There are water droplets all over my still dirty car. I would have been better off just turning a hose on my car. read more

Wow!!! We clearly agitated the clerk by saying hello and having our purchases checked out. The coffee pot was dry, no offer to make any. No TP in the not so clean bathroom. We were clearly interrupting a very important phone call for this abrupt and dismissive young woman. read more

I needed a quick wash and found Chevron on my way home. They have different options to choose from but I opted for the regular 5.99. It really is only a basic water/soap rinse and blow dry. It completely missed the second half of my car even though my car was in the correct position inside the car wash. There was a line of cars when I was there. I don't know how anybody can return. I wouldn't come back even if it were free. The wash left my car dirtier with soap spots everywhere. Please take your money and business elsewhere. read more

i always come here for the car wash only. it's brushless so sprays a strong stream of water to wash. also, if your car is low, there's no weird mechanisms in the floor to hold your car in place during the wash. i've tried a few other car washes but this one always seems to be the best by far. read more

They have a decent car wash here. This carwash uses high pressure spray nozzles which is good for cleaning dust and light dirt, but WILL NOT clean other things like bird droppings or grim. From time to time the spray nozzles come off and it jet's high pressure water into the car which is not great. This car wash does have two feature which makes it stand out. 1. It has a tire scrubber which works pretty well and 2. It has one of the better air driers, which distributes air evenly across the whole vechial leaving very little water. The only thing that could make this car wash better is if it had physical brushes that scrubbed the vechial. Overall great car wash. read more

I needed a quick and easy car wash. I usually go to the Arco Drive through car wash in Arcadia. That one has a machine that does a pretty good job of wiping down the dirt I neglect on my car. I figured all gas station drive through car washes were the same, weren't they? Apparently not. This was the same price, around $6-$7 and hardly moved any dust off my car. I only went because I was in the area and wanted to get it done. I even considered going to another car wash after this one...that's how bad it was. I'll stick to the drive through car washes I know from now on. read more

Easy gas station to get into and simple car wash set up. Finally a touch-free car wash! Line can be long, so try to go during off times.

Apart from the fact that Chevron gas is WAY more expensive than most other stations, this gas station is always clean, has lots of pumps and good covering (rain & sun) as well as excellent employees, always friendly and willing to help. Plenty of window cleaning squeegees and towels. The car wash is one of the best for a quick wash ONLY - truly a non-touch wash unless you get the top of the line wash which includes a scrubbing of your wheels (not worth it if you ask me as the brush is at a fixed height so most of the time it doesn't align with your wheels). Only 4 stars not 5 because beware - the wash is great for summer dust in LA or if you accidentally parked your car near a sprinkler etc, but if you have some more "intense" dirt like bird droppings or you parked your car under a blooming jacaranda tree, don't expect the water jets to get it all off. read more

Why? I admit I get confused in everyday life. I didn't "align" my wheels properly for my wash SO i got back in line and waited (15) minutes for a second try. I selected the premium wash BECAUSE nothing, nothing is too good for my car. *Beso* On my way out I was kinda dismayed that the fans/dryer didn't really dry my car and to top it off the vacuums were missing their suction hose! WTF?! The winning factor: Great employees inside with a sense of humor and a willingness to assist. They let me borrow a towel to dry off my car and offered to help with the vacuum. BEWARE gas prices are okay, not the cheapest in the area, but definitely worth the $5 car wash or if you want a better car wash you can purchase the $6 or $7 option (Although i can't tell the difference when i opt to purchase the $6 or $7 option) !! Hey it's 100 degrees outside SO I AM ecstatic to shell out that $5 for a decent wash, so i won't have to face the tortuous heat. BEWARE lines are really long on a Sunday afternoon for some reason everyone wants a car wash on Sunday! So be prepare to wait in your car for a good 20 - 25 minutes if you come on a Sunday.... yet I still haven't learn my lesson... maybe 3rd time will be a charm and I won't come on a Sunday! The car wash is great when it works. Usually after a couple tries I can get the thing to read my credit card but today I went in and it wouldn't take either of my credit cards. I tried over and over. Sometimes it just said "Busy", sometimes it got stuck "Authorizing", and mostly it just said "Bad card read". I finally gave up and went to the Chevron in Monrovia where it took my card no problem. Very rude. I spent 45 minutes waiting for car wash. When it was finally my turn, the auto wash wouldn't come on... As I didn't want to inconvenience people waiting behind me, I pulled around and went inside. A man was standing visiting the 2 attendants about his shirt... I finally said excuse me, and stated my business. Oscar said "Honey, what do you want me to do?" He threw $9.00 at me and laughed. The other attendant "Lincoln" called me racist, stupid, and crazy. I asked for the manager/ owners name and business #. Lincoln handed me a phone number that wasn't active. Then Oscar handed me the main number of the store. There was like 5-7 cars in front of me when I arrived (15 minutes delay approximately). When I came out, there was easily 15 cars waiting. I'm from France and it was the first time I ever washed my car here in the US. As I didn't know if the machine accepted credit cards or if I had to buy a special card or a token (as in France), I went inside and asked the cashier. He wasn't even nice, as you expect a cashier to be. I'm not a native English speaker, but I understand and speak well enough, so no reason not to be cool. For $8.99, I took their "Extreme wash" at the cashier desk (and I still don't know if the machine itself accepts credit cards!). They gave me a code to enter on the machine. There is no rolls that touches the car, this is both a good and a bad thing: nothing will hurt your car, but bird poop is still untouched. The dryer didn't dry enough, there was still water everywhere. Don't even expect to fill your tank in: they have the most expensive gas I ever saw ($4.35 per gallon, when all the other gas stations surrounding are between $3.99 and $4.15)! I drove like 5 miles to go home (eagle rock), the car looks almost as if I haven't washed it. Next time I will go to JJ's car wash, closer to my home and they do a great job according to yelp. I definitively won't EVER come again here. read more

IM AT THIS GAS STATION ALL THE TIME! getting my quick fix of coffee with the instant cappuccinos too :) they dont have nachos or hot dogs..but they have sandwiches and all that other yummy grub. nice service here too! and close to PCC..and other yummies (Zankou..Mc. I am a frequent Chevron customer as I am very picky about the gas I put in my car but decided to try out the CAR WASH for once. The first time I got the cheapest car wash available. My car wasn't too dirty so the machine did a decent job at clearing up some of the grime and dirt build up. My only complain was that the dryer left my car fairly wet. I went pretty slowly through the dryer and my car was still fairly wet. Thankfully I randomly had a towel in the back that I was able to spot clean. I used the car wash a couple other times seeing it as a quick and cheap way to "maintain" the cleanliness of my car but really never left happy with the service. The machine always seemed to miss spots etc. Again for the price I swallowed my pride and would again always just get out of my car after the drier and finish it off myself. The last time I went I decided to "spoil" myself and go for the pricier option and hated it. The car wash left my car covered in soap. The dryer still left my car pretty went even with a longer drying cycle. As I knew something like this would happen I had my towel to clean up the mess but since my car was covered in soap I just made the situation worse. Officially had it with the service. read more

My go to place for cigarettes and red bull. Hey, my car's not the only thing requiring fuel. Very, very friendly staff, which is pretty hard to come by in this industry. Free water and air always in working order (even the air pressure gauge!) and you don't have to do the whole token rigmarole. Car wash is crazy busy on a weekend, so plan accordingly. read more

I don't understand why people write so bad reviews. It is the best chevron on my experience. It is big and food mart is the cleanest amongst all the locations. I was excited to see the the bathroom was shiny clean, that i didn't expect to see at the gas station. The coffee area is great and they have no 4 sugar free flavors. I don't normally review gas stations but this one is SUPER close to my work and I still avoid it. Everything here is always broken or does not work and the entire staff is completely unhelpful when stuff goes wrong. The whole place is such a hassle always that I go out of my way to not go here anymore. Their Car Wash is always broken and does not hit all the cycles you paid for. Note all the zip ties holding it together. The whole place is just cut up. Drive past this place. 2 blocks east is another gas station. 2 blocks north is another gas station. I would not recommend this car wash, which is the only thing that makes this spot different than the 2 other gas stations within close proximity. read more

Was in need of a carwash since I was showing it off for sale the following day (first thing in the morning). The car wasn't horribly dirty but it definitely could be washed before I was going to show it to the next potential owner. I picked the cheapest wash and it barely did anything. It might have taken off the dust that was on the car, but it didn't do a great job washing it. It was touch-free wash which I typically like since I hear that touch washes can destroy the paint of the car. This carwash was open till late which made it great for my schedule. I live in Alhambra and this was one of the closet carwashes still open this late on a Saturday night. Don't expect all the bird poo and dried gunk to come off during the basic carwash package. But if you need something quick and cheap, it's not bad. Also, watch out for dry spots since the machine does the minimal amount of drying. read more

I like non-touch carwash. And they are one of them. I am bit conscious when I go to conventional carwash which is going to like an octopus's nest.... I think these legs might damage your car body. Went through the carwash, and honestly, I'd give it a negative star. That was probably the shortest drive thru carwash I've ever been in, didn't really clean my car, and has the shortest dryer run through ever. Didn't even get the chance to dry off so the water marks just dried off again on my car! I know my car was dirty but wow! Lol. Waste of $12. read more
