Added perks include adequate parking spaces, 76 gas station, and even a car wash (Milpitas Auto Spa), with a lovely fountain next to the store that can be used for seating and perhaps enjoying a snack (you don't typically find that at other 7-Eleven locations). Service is efficient, with workers using two registers to minimize wait time for customers. Even when just one employee is working the front, I've seen them alternate utilizing both, so that slow customers don't slow down the line while taking their sweet time getting out of the way after making a purchase (if there's a line at all). I'm all about efficiency, so this a big plus in my book! Just what you need at a place like this, so you can be in and out in no time. Not every day nor every detail will be perfect, but I'm not basing my review off a single visit. I've had such a positive experience here over time, and the value seems fair for a convenience store, that I was convinced to join the 7-Eleven rewards program. Yup, they have that too :D

I wanted to post a review of everything else THIS store does to balance my terrible curbside pickup review: Everything else, this store is 5 of 5 stars. I've owned my house a mile away from this store before it or the shopping center even existed, 24 years ago. Before they were here, it was literally a patch of grass where they sold Christmas trees and pumpkins during the holidays. We walk to/by this store 3-5 times a week, often stopping in to buy little things that we need while getting our walking exercise. We also shop here 3-5 other times a week when we're in our cars. So, needless to say, the people here know me and my wife like we work there. I walk in to complain about my curbside order I had waited an hour for outside, and I see literally 2 employees are working, handling two lines of customers with 4-8 people in each line. That's it, 2 people working in the store. Normally there are 4-6 people minimum. So, I wait in line to talk to the guy near the front, and he points me back to "Patty" who handles the curbside orders. Yeah, I'm pretty upset at this point being redirected to the sole other employee after waiting behind 6 other people. I go back to her, wait behind other customers, and complain to her. She says she's so sorry, checks and sees that I have been waiting for an hour. She just didn't see the notifications. Because they are busy and short-staffed. She goes back to get a key and then my order, finds it on a cart near where I was standing. Meanwhile, I'm talking with another customer saying, "You know, nobody wants to do these jobs any more for less than $15 an hour, these places are going to disappear soon!" She agrees, and Patty walks back up and tells us how they are short-staffed because they keep hiring people, they train them, then in 1-2 days they disappear and they have to hire someone again. Yeah, I guess it is hard to find someone to do an honest job for honest pay these days, but I was surprised to hear exactly that from Patty. All I can say is before posting a 1 star review, which this store deserves for the service they did provide on the curbside order, remember they might be, even today, dealing with a lot of adversity just to stay open. In the very least, give them another chance doing what they do and post another review if it's better than 1 star. So, bottom line, give the stores that you gave 1 star reviews to another chance later. They really are all just people trying their best to get the job done, probably like all of us.

I pulled into the gas station and there were only 2 other cars at the pumps so I didn't need to wait in line like other gas stations or Costco Gas. I went inside the store and proceeded to use my gas gift card. They cashier put in my pump number and asked me to side the card. Everything went smoothly with the payment. Then I headed back outside and started to pump the gas. The gas pumped at a reasonable speed and no issues with the pump. I did notice the gas price was $0.40 more than Costco's gas price for the same day.

This for the **Photos Department** only…read more I just went in for passport photos at Walgreens. I asked about costs and different sets/options available. I was informed that a set is $16.99. I asked how many photos in a set. He started to give me an attitude and refused to say how many insisting that I tell him what country first. I repeated my question, and he condescendingly say "What country?". This is one of my worst experiences at Walgreens. Walgreens needs to train its employees the meaning of service. I came in for passport photos in the USA. If I needed passport photos for other countries other than for the US, I would have mentioned that. Even if it is true that a passport photo set at Walgreens is different for different countries, the employee did not need to condescendingly communicate with its customers with an attitude. At the minimum, the employee could say something like "The set includes ... for US, and will be different for different countries." I did not come to Walgreens to spent my money so that Walgreens employees can berate and humiliate me.

Granted, I always come back because there is 100% WORST out there. With me trying to get my life together, I finally decided to get my expired passport renewed. This required me to go and get some photos taken. I hopped online and did a quick search for locations that could help me accomplish this task and up pops Walgreens. I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty hesitant to take this route due to some pretty bad reviews and a number of horror stories regarding the lack of care and knowledge the employees had when it came down to photo requirements. The last thing I wanted to do was waste my time, money, and delay my passport getting renewed. BUT!! Convenience and my laziness got the best of me and off to Walgreens I went. I arrive to an empty photo department but flagging someone down was easy enough. In walks Isabel (shift lead) who makes the process super easy. She asks that I take a seat with a white backdrop and begins to take multiple images. Once she was confident that she had a shot that could be used, she brought me over to a kiosk where Isabel went through a check list prior to confirming the photo and printing it out. The process took about 20-25 mins for the images to be ready. Whoo hoo for same day pick up!! Cost was a whopping $17 for a set of 2 which is a lot cheaper than what passport photographers would charge. 5/5 stars for Walgreen's passport photo process. Isabel seemed knowledgeable enough but the final test will be the government actually passing my renewal application. Stay tuned for a possible "part two" review.

Their carwash is fine, I never had any problems with it. It was the people that I have an issue with! The tall skinny guy that works in the evenings, after 4pm M-F is unfriendly and he doesn't give the $1 discount on carwash if you get gas. I have a Honda Pilot, my fill-up is always $100+ and I usually buy other items so it's easy to miss a $1 charge. Yeah, I know, it's only $1 but it's principles man. And he did it to me three times and the third time, another customer was questioning him about it too. So I'm just going to assume that he is doing this to all the customers and pocketing the money. Shame on you skinny guy! I'm trying out another Chevron off Mowry right now. They also have mixed reviews, but it's WAY better than this place.
