Came to Walgreens to pick up medication for my son, who is in pain after his dentist appointment, and the store was locked even though the posted hours showed it should be open. The least they can do is operate during the business hours advertised. I even saw someone sitting in their car until 10 PM before driving off, I really hope that wasn't an employee who had already closed the store early after cleaning and counting the drawers. I can't help the time I got out of school, and this situation was incredibly disappointing. My son needed his medication, and the store not honoring its posted hours caused unnecessary stress. read more

It was easy to order a photo print online, uploading it from my phone, then paying a dollar deposit. I was quoted a 45 minute wait though I never got a notification that it was ready, until the next day. So I came by the store the next day to pick it up, and they couldn't find it under my first or last name. I waited as they searched. It took less than 5-8 minutes, though it felt like forever, considering it was just a single photo which should have been ready to go when I arrived. They finally found it, someone had mistakenly put it in the wrong place. Inconvenient, but I understand things happen sometimes, at least they had my order in the end. read more

So disappointed. New guy, sat there taking pill bottles out of a crate and using a marker on them he went through most of the crate while I sat in the drive-through freezing. Then he couldn't understand my last name. Normally I have great service at the pharmacy here; they need to fire that guy. read more

Bad Service. This location has clearly gone downhill. Overcharged and even when I brought it to the checkers attention as t the time, she clearly doesnt list er n as nd not the first time. I had to return to get my credit on an item because after looking at my receipt U knew I was overcharged.. The Manager needed to assist and clearly not sure how people in this position are unable to apologize for an error on their part. Is it really that difficult, apparently so..how disappointing. Thank you Xiomara for taking care of us and our store credit return today! Honestly, I didn't think it would be such a hassle to return an UNUSED item that's carried universally at all Walgreens (ELF brand makeup). We stopped by around 8:30 pm today for our return and the rude man with glasses and a lady with brown hair didn't even want to help us because "the item is out of the county". The receipt says you can return your items to any of Walgreens National Corporation (this one counts as one). If it's such an issue they should at least state it on the receipt. Our original experience would've left us with a 1 start but thank you to Xiomara and her excellent customer service for turning this around for us. read more

Stopped by today to quickly pick up a specific item for the boyfriend. There's a small parking lot but it doesn't get full. I easily parked in front. I easily found what I needed and paid quickly with Apple Pay which is nice. What wasn't nice was a homeless man harassing folks going in and out of the Walgreens. I didn't appreciate that. Special recognition to pharmacist Mina - she is knowledgeable, friendly and not afraid of giving you good advice. When there is no line, she will also go "above and beyond" to look and understand your request and concern. She truly is an angel and she always put herself in your shoes. Just got hung up on by one of the pharmacist for no reason. Seems like the pharmacist is under too much stress or having a bad day. Horrible customer service, I would choose a different pharmacy . All our patients complain about how rude the pharmacist is. OK, this is a follow-up to my previous 1-star review -- previous in this case means I walked into the store after I wrote my terrible review for their curbside pickup to actually find my order so I wouldn't have to argue with Walgreen's or my credit card customer service later. I wanted to post a review of everything else THIS store does to balance my terrible curbside pickup review: Everything else, this store is 5 of 5 stars. I've owned my house a mile away from this store before it or the shopping center even existed, 24 years ago. Before they were here, it was literally a patch of grass where they sold Christmas trees and pumpkins during the holidays. We walk to/by this store 3-5 times a week, often stopping in to buy little things that we need while getting our walking exercise. We also shop here 3-5 other times a week when we're in our cars. So, needless to say, the people here know me and my wife like we work there. I walk in to complain about my curbside order I had waited an hour for outside, and I see literally 2 employees are working, handling two lines of customers with 4-8 people in each line. That's it, 2 people working in the store. Normally there are 4-6 people minimum. So, I wait in line to talk to the guy near the front, and he points me back to "Patty" who handles the curbside orders. Yeah, I'm pretty upset at this point being redirected to the sole other employee after waiting behind 6 other people. I go back to her, wait behind other customers, and complain to her. She says she's so sorry, checks and sees that I have been waiting for an hour. She just didn't see the notifications. Because they are busy and short-staffed. She goes back to get a key and then my order, finds it on a cart near where I was standing. Meanwhile, I'm talking with another customer saying, "You know, nobody wants to do these jobs any more for less than $15 an hour, these places are going to disappear soon!" She agrees, and Patty walks back up and tells us how they are short-staffed because they keep hiring people, they train them, then in 1-2 days they disappear and they have to hire someone again. Yeah, I guess it is hard to find someone to do an honest job for honest pay these days, but I was surprised to hear exactly that from Patty. All I can say is before posting a 1 star review, which this store deserves for the service they did provide on the curbside order, remember they might be, even today, dealing with a lot of adversity just to stay open. In the very least, give them another chance doing what they do and post another review if it's better than 1 star. So, bottom line, give the stores that you gave 1 star reviews to another chance later. They really are all just people trying their best to get the job done, probably like all of us. read more

TLDR; DO NOT get prescriptions filled, here!!! This Walgreens has seen the last dollar from us. Despite it's convenience in and around the place where we live, one of the pharmacists here has decided that their medical "knowledge" outweighs that of a physician who has been practicing for decades. Yes, they decided to REFUSE TO FILL a prescription, against California State Law... for no other reason than "their own personal beliefs" (and in THAT case, the pharmacy MUST make "reasonable accommodations" to the patient so that they may fill the prescription in a timely manner). Because of her actions, I am now denied a prescription for another 24 hours. THIS IS NOT COOL. This "professional" may end up jeopardizing the lives and/or well-being, just due to their own politics. More-over, a pharmacist with a Four Year degree IS NOT "a Doctor," who have spent more than double that amount of time in school, even without a residency. And again, THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW!!! It does NOT matter why I am using a particular drug, or why my physician is issuing the prescription. Both HIPAA and the ADA protect this sort of information as privileged, between me and my doctor, ONLY. Again, a pharmacist IS NOT a doctor, and may ONLY refuse when they believe there is a contraindication that would risk my health, or interfere with another drug in my record ... and, they MUST SAY IT, in that manner. What happens if a young girl goes in to get something like Plan B, in this day and age, and this pharmacist decides "it's not the 'right' situation." What about other crucial meds? THIS IS NOT A DEBATE... it's my doctor's decision, after our consultation(s), to decide what is best for ME, given MY situation. NOT if this pharmacist thinks "it's not the right drug." They are NOT qualified to answer that question... PERIOD. We plan to join our physician in filing actual charges against this pharmacy, tomorrow. Never go to this Walgreens or any Walgreens for that matter for a covid test. Walgreens will tell you it takes 48-72 hours for a test result, but what they don't tell you is that they send it to another company to do that actual testing and that company ,aegis sciences, takes another 48-72 hours to process the test. Both companies will straight up lie to your face. It will take literally 7 business days to get a result. But they will lie to you and say it only takes 3 days. read more

I made an appointment to get a covid test at 3:15pm. The email confirmation says to arrive at least 5 mins earlier, I arrived 15mins earlier. There were about 5 cars in front of me, FIVE. Now tell me why I waited for about 1hr30mins to get to the window? Please note: To get to the window, not to get helped yet. I could count the worker helping at least 3 people inside the store before coming to talk to me. Now mind you, I have Covid symptoms and I feel terrible sick and just want to get this done and the excuse she told me for the wait it's because of the line inside. The Walgreens we visited was the worst ever. They never answered the phone, nor did they respond to the bell in the store. Despite multiple visits, this time for our prescription medicine, they assured us they'd text when it was ready, but failed to do so. This location is decent in size compared to others around and if you pay attention throughout the store, you can find some great deals through weekly specials and clearance markdowns. They aren't always stocked very well which can get kinda annoying especially with sale items and even more so when their coolers aren't properly functioning as they should be. If they were a tad bit quicker at helping customers with locked up items I'd have have no problem rating them higher, but they have some stuff to figure out. read more

Thank you to Walgreens for saving the day. After going to two different CVS' that were unable to fill my prescription the same day, my next stop was Walgreens. I was able to get all my prescriptions filled within 10 minutes of dropping them off. This will be my new pharmacy from now on. Goodbye CVS. However, the service at the pharmacy is pretty much nonexistent. They only say enough words to ring you up and be on your way. Probably one of the bad Walgreens around the area, the cashier doesn't know how to engage with the customers. For example: When a customer only purchase three items, and the items seems to be very light. She would ask: Do you need a bag ?? The answer is obvious a NO. The manager need to coach and train their cashier more throughly and support the cashier to ask the right question. The good thing is right after the cashier said the inappropriate question, the manger immediately step in and resolved the problem. I came for a curbside pick up and they didn have option to park at assigned curbs when I clicked on "I'm here" in my email, even they have 2 parking spots for curbside. I had to come in the store and the cashier lady showed an upset attitude toward me?!? My fault for doing curbside pick-up? Another cashier seemed like new she didn't know what to do with the return, the upset lady came to show her and that upset lady showed bigger attitude toward her too. It seems like there're a lot of dramas and politics inside the store so they have no time to help customers. Also, items always show wrong in stock quantities. Not even what time they closed. I was a little frustrated of the little information he knew about the area he was working in....except he did say that I needed to work through the kiosk - I was approached by a person asking if I needed help and she was super friendly and polite - After my dumbass could not figure out the quantities of photos I needed to print, I ended up starting all over so this took longer than expected on my end. Although, I have to add that the kiosk was stupid instead of letting me just select to change all the quantities to 2, I had to selected the + sign for each image on my USB - Anyhow, I thought I had 46 pictures and I needed to change the quantities of prints and I was wondering why my total photo count was 128 and not 92 then realized it was 64 photos total. At least I know how to multiply, just not the correct numbers - The kiosk in the beginning asks about the photo specifications such as matte, glossy, borders, etc. I clicked something without thinking since it was so late and got a white border on all my photos - Machine gives you a promised time after the processing of all the information has been complete (in my case, 9:45pm) so I go to the register and ask the guy how many people were in the queue, he was not quick to answer and replied I don't know so I asked can you check please? - I was once again greeted by Kikki and given my packet of photos that were ready to be picked up (package stated 9:18pm I believe) which means it was done before promised time! She was such a sweetheart and I would definitely come back more photos! - FYI: I overheard they so passport photos and advise not to wear white because you'll blend with the background - So I'm contemplating whether the person who developed my pictures name was Laquesha and short calls herself Kikki (it's what was stated on the photo package) - I'll be back! read more

Best darn Walgreens in the whole chain. Organized, great location and I always find something I didn't know I needed. Right now they have a big ol" bucket, 101 total (like the dalmatians) of cookie cutters on sale, just in time for your holiday baking. Pretty good price too. But my review is based mostly on the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Tech (I think her name is Erica) is THE BEST. Super friendly, patient, extremely knowledgeable (and gorgeous to boot). You never have to worry that your prescription isn't right, she's right on it for you. And when you're going to the pharmacy it usually means that you or someone close to you isn't feeling well and to have someone helping you with a smile and a kind word, really goes a long way. For Photo Only: I ordered magnets during a sale after Christmas. I got an email saying that the order was processed and ready for pick-up after a couple of days. I drove out, and they said that they had run out of magnet supplies to print on. The email was in error, and they would call me when it was ready. I got a voice message the next week that it was processed, and drove out again to pick it up. Still no magnets, and I was told it would take four weeks to get the materials in. Again, the promise that they would call when it was ready. After five weeks of no word, I decided to call them to check on it myself. They told me that it was ready, but of course I was severely doubtful, and asked her to check the drawers where they place completed orders. I literally asked the associate, "You found the order? You see the order?" She said yes. Drove over. Guess what the result was. Six weeks later, I was passing by this Walgreens, and decided to check out of curiosity, not any real hope that the order came through. The associate told me that the order was actually cancelled a couple of weeks back. I had not told them to do this! He told me that the only thing to do now was to place the order again. I'm not outraged that my order didn't come through. i'm outraged at all of the time wasted when they directly lied to me. I told him I absolutely give up. I wouldn't have gotten the same pricing, and I certainly never want the grief of trying to deal with this store ever again. read more

This review is targeted specifically at the pharmacy staff working the evening of Wednesday, 11/10/21. A+ to this team for keeping up with an unrelenting demand. I walked in around 5pm with an urgent prescription to fill. Half of Milpitas was there with me. While I didn't get out of there as soon as I would have liked, I stood back and marveled at the pharmacy staff running back and forth, picking up phones, tending to COVID shots and filling everything as fast and efficiently as possible. Special thank to the young man (I missed his name) who made sure things were on track. The growing line was not a reflection of any staff standing around doing nothing. One Star for Walgreens corporate. The pharmacy is understaffed for the demand and lines halfway to the front (back?) of the store would normally make me go elsewhere.
