The pharmacy is located off of N. Jackson & Alexian and the tiny brown building can quickly get overlooked. Sure the establishment could use some jazzing up and but the most important aspect for me is customer service. Pharmacists are kind, prompt, welcoming, and extremely thorough when it came to providing medications for my daughter. My first visit was stress free, greatly enjoyed, and straightforward. 5/5 stars for the quick in and out visit.

There was free parking although it was busy because it is several medical offices in one lot. When I walked in, there were other customers waiting and only one staff member at the front desk. It took about 5 minutes for my turn and then I had to wait another 5 because they couldn't find my paperwork. I saw a sign that they need to hire a pharm tech so I took it as they are short staffed. The staff were friendly and respectful, but be prepared to wait. The facility is a little outdated and run down but I appreciated that they made it work for me despite their staffing.

Long story short, I have been going to Walgreens by my home for a while, but they have been slacking a few times and the people there seems miserable and unhelpful. My 4 year old son got an infection and needed antibiotics and Walgreens gave me the run around all day, till I finally came and said they were sold out and for me to call around and find a pharmacy that had it in stock to transfer my son's prescription. It's late and most pharmacies were closing so I was scared I wouldn't be able to help my son. I called McKee to see if they had the antibiotics in stock and they did, but was closing in 10 mins after I called around 6pm. I rushed over way past their closing time, and a very helpful and kind lady helped me out and I was able to get our electronic prescription from Walgreens transferred over to McKee Medical Pharmacy. I was an emotional wreck that night because no parent likes seeing their child suffer, and it was getting late, I felt hopeless and I was afraid that I couldn't get his medication that evening... Thanks goodness for McKee staffs and pharmacist for helping a frantic mom out, I am so so so grateful and thankful for your help! My child took the antibiotics that night and woke up feeling much better already the next day. I am so glad he did not have to suffer a night due to Walgreens negligence. When I asked my property manager what happened he said that he was in the middle of an appointment and the doorbell was rung more than once. Property manager acknowledged the driver he just needed to be patient. Driver rang and rang and rang the doorbell. Thus once the driver was inside my complex he left. However day 3 a new driver was able to make it to the complex where I said I would meet outside, but somehow made it to my door!!
