Jerry's is a cool spot to snag yummy treats and salty chips when in the Milpitas area! Compared to other liquor shops, Jerry's has always delivered and has an abundant stock of everything. Of the times I've visited, I stopped by with a few friends to grab ice-cream since we were on our way to the nearby park. My friends had purchased a rainbow pop, a push pop, and I went for a Oreo crunch bar. Service here is very nice, and usually it's assumed you know what you'd like or had found what you were looking for. However, my Oreo ice-cream I purchased tasted funny upon opening, and after one bite I checked my ice-cream only to find out it was over a week past the expiration! Moving forward, I wouldn't take Jerry's off my list of liquor stores, but I will be very aware of their ice-creams - mostly the cream based ones. read more

The shop owner is really nice! He even had kids that graduated from MHS recently! I came here because a certain Santa Rosa based brewery said that they stock their famous Double IPA the Pliny the Elder. And even more recently, I've been there to pickup stacks of Mango White Claw, absolutely necessary if you're making a Mango White Clawsserole! They'll always have a good stock of the better stuff when you're looking for an alternative to Coors light. Other staff are always friendly and helpful. Very clean and very tidy inside. read more

I was in the area and wanted to get a bottle wine. After reading the reviews, especially the lottery arrests, I had to go here. You can't miss it as it's right on the street with 'Jerry's' spelled in huge letters. They sell lottery tickets again. The store is really small compared to the size of the building. There is a massive wall of wine that seems to overwhelm the space - ok by me... Prices of the wines are typical and the selection is huge. I was treated nicely by the guy at the counter. I don't know if it was me looking out of place or I was a curious given the other reviews, but some guy in the back was staring at me.... It will be a stop for sodas etc as I'll be here on occasion for business in the area. read more

My friends and I were about to go to McDonalds to get some chasers but then one of the girls said she wanted to get some kinky. You wanna get kinky!? Is that what you said?? Turns out Kinky is some fruity looking vodka. So we went to Jerry's but they didn't have it lol. Prices are what's expected of a convenience store and their selection of liquor and wine fills up a whole wall. They also have lots of that high fructose corn syrup 'juice'. We got that as a chaser and it was $4! But it's convenient so what can we say. I read in previous reviews that this place back in like '09, the cashier or owner would cash in people's lottery tickets and claim it as their own. I looked it up myself and they had some decoys hand in winning scratchers (like $1k) and ask if they won anything, and they caught a cashier saying no and cashing it in themselves. shouldn't people check themselves if they won the scratchers? i mean the instructions are on the scratch card themselves. but i guess i'd rather give $1k to a dumb person than a dishonest person. Interesting old fact but a nice heads up for anyone cashing in scratch cards anywhere. read more

I come here almost every morning to get an energy drink. One time i came here during lunch hrs at work and i see the attendant lady who i believe is the wife's owner kick some old lady bum out of the store because the crazy lady was causing problems. Came here to buy a rare beer hard to find and the Philippino lady wouldn't sell me one cause she said she needed to keep them for her "regular" customers since they don't receive too many. I absolutely love this litle mom & pop shop! I come here all the time for random little things and they always have it! The owners of the store are incredibly kind and have great customer service! One time I really wanted this specific type of liquor that they didnt carry, the owner said he'll order it and start carrying it for me by the end of the week. Jerrys does not label any prices on most of their products, which enables them to change prices according to mood. I came here a couple of weeks ago because I needed some snacks and the trident gum I bought was only $1. Quite a deal, right? Well this week I returned to buy another pack of gum and the owner charged me $1.62, claiming that the gum has had this price for years. What a hypocrite! I bought the same product from him a couple of weeks ago. Also, he hassled my sister and I because she brought me a bottle of vodka to the counter and she`s under 21. Any one with common sense knows that it`s not illegal for minors to hold an unopened bottle of alcohol. Jerry's market is a convenient location but everything is over priced. The cigarettes here are $6.25, but you can get some down the street for cheaper. They use to scam people on lottery, so beware on buying lottery tickets and scratchers. read more

Ok, after reading some of the reviews, more so the negative ones, I decided they need more positivity. I am frequent shopper at Jerry's since it's right sound the corner from my house. Every time I've been in there, I was greeted by smiling faces and a hello. I've never had any issues with customer service or with any of the other issues people have had. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, it's just a little local store that needs the business of the local population! read more

This is an independent convenience store on the boarder of San Jose and Milpitas. Other than the occasional lottery ticket, I don't really shop here. It looks like they get a lot of business from the surrounding community. It's not a bad spot. read more

Jerry's no longer has a license to sell Lotto. They got it taken away because of FRAUD! That's why you are unable to redeem your winning tickets or even check them. It makes people wonder how many tickets of there's were actually a winner and they told you "sorry it's not a winner"! read more

Hey, Jerry's is a nice enough place. But what does a San Franciscan care about the availability of hard liquor in Milpitas, anyway? There are plenty of other venues in Milpitas that sell it and are open later. Jerry's is a "convenience store", not a liquor store. It devotes a certain percentage of its floor space to "rows and rows of hard alcohol". It might be informative to compute the CUBIC space percentage as well...... Me, I buy mostly snacks and lottery tickets there. If they get a proper deli going, that might be very useful. read more

Need something quick? Live in the neighborhood? Here is the place to be. Prices are a-ok but they always seem to have some type of shifty character there. Since i've been living in this neighborhood. It's been through quite a lot of management changes. For the better I guess it's been the same group of people I would say for the past few years. I work down the street, so it's convenient to go here when I need something real quick, since I don't get a lot of time for breaks and lunch. Unfortunately, a lot of the stuff I need they don't have, which is weird because they are pretty big for a convenience store. They don't carry Afrin or Starbucks Double shots for example. I've asked them to carry these, but they haven't been stocking it. The customer service isn't fantastic, but it's adequate. Jerry's rocks with their selection. It is a great little neighborhood store and you can pretty much count on seeing the same faces (which we like) over and over again. They are friendly and actually have a really good selection of things from liquor to other beverages to little things you might run out of and need (like TP or paper plates and other little goods). They do close awfully early, and I dont ever recommend going for cold meds ($8 for 12 cold tablets, talk about overpriced!) but overall they are a cut above any other neighborhood store we've ever been too. read more

The workers and owners are extremely rude. My bf and I came to buy a bottle and we had our motorcycle helmets on (because we came on a motorcycle) to just grab a bottle. I came in first and an employee with long curly hair did some weird sign to me as if I can't hear or see anything wearing a helmet. I walked to the alcohol aisle and another employee was mopping and just froze. They were all assuming that I was going to steal. Once my 6ft bf came in, the owner yells at us demanding us to take off our helmets. He could've been more polite about it and he didn't tell me anything when I came in wearing a helmet first. Then the curly hair employee goes "it's not that hard to remove your helmet" it's hassle removing it just for 2 mins and putting it back on especially since it started raining. I asked that employee why he has to be rude and he told me to my face that he thinks I'm going to steal just because I had a helmet on when I was only planning on being there for 2 min to pick up a bottle, pay, and go. I know these people get robbed all the time but you shouldn't assume every person you think is suspicious is going to steal especially since you have a business that is customer oriented. You can be polite and tell me nicely to remove my helmet. read more

For a local liquor store this place is great. In my neighborhood there is not many places to buy alcohol or liquor. 7-11, and other local liquor stores don't sell much more than beer or wine. I have shopped at Jerry's many a time and so has my husband. We both have never had a problem with service, in fact contrary to many of the other's reviews we have had great service from the staff here. They sell great snacks here including Helados Mexico popsicles!!! Jerry's is a great local liquor store. read more
