I pumped gas and decided to do their $9 "Express Wash" which comes with spot rinse, "foam bath", and dry. During the car wash, I noticed the machine only sprayed water on my car and ran the brushes. After it was done, I went in to talk to the cashier. I explained no soap came out and he said there isn't any for Express Wash. I showed him the sign says it comes with "foam bath" and he said it's very little so it's "transparent" and "invisible". He said if I want to see the soap I have to pay for the $13 premium wash. I actually laughed in disbelief. Literally no soap came out of the wash and no bubbles formed. My car came out with debris and dirt still all over it that you could remove by lightly brushing your finger. Spider webs didn't even wash off. I feel completely scammed. Went here for gas and a car wash and could only get gas. The car wash is broken AGAIN! It seems like every other week this car wash is broken Came here for a car wash and the machine wasn't broken this time but the two "dryers" that are supposed to blow the water off your car just move it around. I can't believe I haven't written a review for this shell. This is arguably one of my favorites (ha!) because it is soooo darn convenient! It literally deposits you right on the on-ramp of the freeway and you can just go on your merry way. I actually discovered lately that the prices here are also much cheaper than what they are near my house. The station is usually very clean, well kept, well lit and easy to access. There are plenty of pumps, and they're all upgraded! I am a big fan. The store (LOOP) is also well stocked and even has things like frozen yogurt, what a treat! read more

Fast fill up even when it is busy. This location has a pretty good price point even though they could gouge people based on their super convenient location (thank you to the owners...and don't get any ideas!) This place is really busy during the morning and afternoon commutes but what I like is they have spaced the lanes out enough so you can sneak between to get out when you are done even if the car in front of you is still filling up (this is such a time saver!) They also have a great convenience store called The Loop which has some good items to pick up on your way to work or back to home. The thing I don't like is that the traffic on Jacklin can get pretty crazy and the heavy flow of cars can make it difficult to get back on the road at times...only a minor criticism that is probably outweighed by the convenience of being close to the freeway. I recommend this gas station to anyone commuting on 680. It is conveniently located near the freeway so you can get your gas and get on with your life! read more

Yesterday I went to car wash at this Shell Station and it broke my moonroof visor. Then I walked into the shop and talked to the two cashier ladies. I also showed them my car's moonroof visor was broken due to the Carwash. Then one of the cashier ladies gave me a form (Carwash Incident Report) to fill out. She said, someone will contact me within a week. Today there was a guy that called me back and said, they weren't going to pay as there is a sign somewhere saying they are not responsible for any damage. What the heck! This is NOT a loose part. What a dump. If you can get over the disgusting outside of the gas station the filth and dirty pumps I challenge you to venture inside. Neither bathroom working sales floor filthy and there's no way I would consider any of the prepared foods. I came to this Shell to use their air pump for my tires. Very nice system, it is $1.50 for air. I went inside to the Loop store to get change for the machine and the cashier told me it was free and that he would start the machine for me. Very nice of him! When the machine is running you can input your desired psi tire pressure (default on the machine is 32 psi). Then go to each of your tires and input the air hose, the machine will display the tire's current psi and then slowly pump air into it and the number goes up. When it reaches your desired psi, the machine will beep several times and the display says "END". Continue on to the remaining tires and repeat steps. Very cool and easy to use! I like this air machine much more than most other places since it tells when you've reached your desire psi instead of having to check repeatedly and manually. I knocked one star off since this Shell is very busy and could use a better organizing for parking and traffic direction. The parking spot next to air machine is also next to the vacuum machine. I had to wait for someone to finish vacuuming their entire car before I could use the air machine which was a bit annoying. read more

Its a nice place, the store is medium sized but well kept. They have a lot of items to chose from. My bf gets gas And I get snacks. However, The Car Wash was something else. My bf decided to try the Car Wash and had a fit because it had somehow bent his antenna and a piece flew off! And it missed several spots of bird droppings. The drying process took a bit too long and the car was still wet. Its whatever, you get what you pay for $11 bucks for that. We'll stick to washing our own cars. read more

The prices at this Shell are pretty comparable to the area, not crazy expensive, just moderately priced. I can usually fill up my car for less than $30. They also have little TV's at the pumps that plays a news station. This station is very convenient because it is literally right next to the 680 entrance. This gas station gets really busy around 5:30, which also seems to be the time the truck comes to fill up the pumps with gas, so it can get pretty hectic navigating the parking lot. There is a car wash, which can get very busy at times, so be prepared for a wait if you come during the busier hours. Loop Neighborhood is the convenience store connected to the gas station which is an upgrade to typical gas stations stores. They have coffee, hot food, pastries, fountain drinks, and even froyo. And their bathrooms are spotless! :) read more

It is located right off of 680 / Jacklin Road exit. It is brightly lit and has about a dozen pumps. Price of gas is reasonably priced given the area. Loop is a decently sized convenient store that has all your snack and drink requirement needs. Has a car wash onsite. read more

Been going to the gas station for quite a while and I love how convenient everything is. They have a car wash, froyo machine, and their coffee is actually really decent. Would recommend going here for gas if you live nearby or are traveling and need somewhere to stop for gas. Also, their customer service has been really quick and easy every time I come. read more

One really tiny snack shack in between the ten busy pumps make it a quick and easy in and out, right off of Interstate 680. The price is reasonable at $3.83 per gallon for regular. There is also a small brush type car wash. read more

So, they close down the drink coolers at 10PM and you cant get anything until the following morning. Total drag. The staff here however is great. The place is always clean, you have to ask for air and they are right off the 680 on Jacklin. Great location. They also have generally the lowest priced fuel in the 10 mile radius of the 680 Jacklin intersection. I come here and really like this service station. During the winter you can get a free lift ticket if you buy 10 gallons or more. read more

I've lived in Milpitas since 1972 and in my existing residence since 1979. I've been a long time customer of this Shell station before and after its remodeling. When the Station reopened under the Loop trade name, we were hopeful that we'd have a much more improved experienced. Well, that lasted about 60 days. After that, certain little "thingys" started creeping into the customer experience. Let's start with the gas pumps. When the new pumps were installed, someone didn't take into account that pumps displays that face the south get a lot of sunlight. Pretty soon, some of these pumps' displays became unreadable. Then another annoyance started manifesting itself, when you'd finish pumping gas, the pumps' receipt dispenser would have no paper to print out a receipt. Could things get worse? They did. The next annoyance was the car wash. Over the past couple of weeks, we've noticed signs taped to the pumps saying that only certain car washes were available and, oh yea, the arch that rinses the car off and dispenses the wax wasn't working but the car wash was working. I've read the comments about other posters describing the employees who work there and their not so customer friendly or caring attitudes. Spot on. I noticed that new pumps were installed so hopefully the display issue will go away. But, the car wash is still not operating properly and it should be shut down completely until it is brought back up to performance specifications. read more

Almost everyday I stop by to the store to buy some drinks and coffee. The coffee is so good and the price is so cheap. I always do my carwash also and they have a good deal with there rewards card. After the remodel, the convenience store is very neat. All the facilities are new and the styling is fabulous. I would like to drop by again later on. Staffs are nice. As other have posted here, the car wash machine sucks. Machine was broken again today. Went inside to get a refund and they had trouble getting the person in front of me to get her refund due to being debit card. This happened after waiting in line 30 minutes for the car wash. The gas station is fine, but the car wash here is not recommended. The worker said the car wash failed because someone pulled too far forward. If the machine is that fragile then this is poor design, as I have not seen this problem at other car wash machines. Also, no error message on the computer screen telling people in line what happened. They had to get a worker to come out and reset it somehow. read more

I never had an issue with this gas station. It's only when I go inside and have to deal with an employee who's attitude hasn't been checked at the door. His name is Gerry and he needs a hug. I pump my gas fine, but going inside and having to deal with that?! Your vibe gets killed quick. Two stars Bc I pump my gas perfectly fine. The other 3 was lost because of Gerry. I been going to this Shell station for awhile now. Love the remodel! Always the fairest gas prices around! Very clean and new! Great little snack shop! The one thing that kills me is you have 2 registers 3-4 staff members working and only 1 register up??? No sense of urgency. Staff is so so. The last two times I went there for gas, the pumps did not give me my receipt and I had to go inside. When I entered the store, there were three clerks behind the counter who were so wrapped up in their conversation that I had to raise my voice to get their attention. I asked why the pumps no longer print receipts and she said it was probably jammed. Well with three of them standing around doing nothing, you would think they would go clear the jam. I live right between the Jacklin Shell Station and the Calaveras Shell Station. If you ask me, the Jacklin Shell Station is bigger, better and offers cheaper gas. The only problem I see with it is that the Shell station shares the same immediate lot with a gym parking lot and a preschool so you get crazy drivers rushing in and out and sometimes you won't find a free pump. The price here is cheaper than the station on Calaveras by a lot at times BUT I still suggest save your money and head to the N. Capitol station.. read more

DONT order ice cream from here (especially not the Ben and jerrys)! For 1 year i do late night ice cream runs and this is the only place that is open. WELL every time I go I am hopeful that this time it'll be better, but NOPE, FAIL every time. I live 1 exit away from this shell, i don't know where the other shell stations are. Comparing their prices with Unocal 76 on Warm Springs and it's more expensive by 5 cents. This shell is pretty big, bigger than the 76 station. So it might be worth the 5 cents extra per gallon so your not behind some moron taking forever to fill up. read more

Gas price is pretty cheap here for the most part. This location does have LOOP, which consist of many delicious snacks and food. The paper towel dispenser near the fueling tank is usually empty. The windshield wipers provided are really bad, meaning the rubber end doesn't dry your car. read more

4 stars for the gas station - this is my go-to station; the price is usually better than others nearby. good location. the convenience store seems upscale, though I haven't bought anything there. 2 star for the car wash - tried it for the first time and was disappointed. the wash was not great and the dryer didn't dry anything so there were water marks everywhere. my wheels looked worse (soap scum) after coming out than they did going in.
