I didn't get to check out the convenience store, filling gas via credit card was quick & simple, had no problems. How low for the gallon, $5.49! I love how the gas pumps has screens and ads/music while pumping gas I was actually entertained. Hehe. Before we were done, a chronic guy on a bike comes by to ask us for $5. for gas. Um you don't need gas for bike?! Be aware of your surroundings! Overall, I'm glad we got to save $! $29.12 for 5 gallons. (3rd fill out since having the rental car!) & Wow. Gas prices are high here & I thought Honolulu was bad.

I'm fairly certain they don't charge extra for credit cards. They do here. I'm not sure if businesses are encouraging cash payments because of high credit card fees or as a way to be creative with their earnings. Interestingly enough for diesel you don't pay any extra for using a credit card. I'm really not sure what this is all about. Maybe at seven dollars a gallon for diesel they figure you are getting soaked enough. Not the brightest gas station. I remember very yellow type lighting. I suppose that helps for not attracting moths - I have the same lights in my entry hall and mud room and porch lights. A stone turtle is hiding in the bushes. Its bigger than life and I suppose it gives the gas station some character. Its not the attraction of a sinclair dinosaur but at least its something.

It was quite empty when we dropped by a Sunday late morning near noon. But we were in and out. It was clean in terms of the station. Definitely one of the stations we'll always frequent. It's not on the main path of most folks but I'd be willing to go on a slight detour for it.

Fuel pump has contactless payment but the challenge is that the pump was defective, always clicking off after pumping a few dollars...bummer. In addition, the fuel pump was out of receipt paper leading me to go into the cashier for the receipt. Interaction with the cashier was odd as in addition to my pump number, I needed to provide my exact total?!? ...good thing I was at pump 1 and could read the total from inside the convenience store!

L & M Shell is located at the corner of Sierra and Piedmont Road. There are two areas of entrance which aids in avoiding congestion. The mini mart inside is well organized and carries a variety of drinks, snacks, and scratchers. The employees aren't very talkative but they are efficient and friendly enough. My biggest complaint: Avoid this pLace like the plague once school is out. Maneuvering your car around random students who walk without caution is NOT the business. Although the cost can be slightly higher than other locations, convenience prevails. As an added perk, this Shell is open 24/7- SCORE!!

Rotten Robbie across the street is much cheaper but since I bought this car in July, I'm following my boss' advice by filling it up w/ good/quality gas only.
