I rarely give 1 star reviews. This is for the car wash. Bought the Ultimate wash. Waited for 2 other cars to get washed and pulled in. After the 1 spray and soap application, it stopped. I waited, it did nothing. I waited some more while trying to call the Chevron. 1st number I found (here on yelp) was disconnected. 2nd number I found, nobody answered. Finally I start to slowly back out. I guess the attendant saw me because as I was about to pull up to the store he came out and started yelling "what are you doing". I explained, he blamed me for causing the problem by backing out. I explained again with more colorful language about how I was sitting in there for 15 minutes ... You get the picture. Long story short, I pulled back in, he reset it, it did 1 more pass and told me to pull forward. My car was cleaner but now had a layer of partially washed off dried soap scum on it. He refused a refund and offered to rewash. But by then there were three more cars lined up and I was already late. I got a credit for a future wash. But why would I come back? read more

I like this car wash because they have a touchless car wash option. The touchless options weren't coming up on the screen when I put in my credit card so I went inside to ask, however...the cashier man was a little rude. I didn't want to ask him any more questions because seemed like it would inconvenience him. I paid inside, then the machine started working when I put in the code. It was a pretty good light wash so I will probably be back. read more

I don't know of many car wash locations off of the top of my head except for this one and the 76 in Union City. Convenience wise, Chevron won my money. When the cashier asked me which one I wanted, seeing as how my car was blanketed (no lie) in bird sh*t, I asked for the most expensive one. Word to the wise, don't leave your car under a big pine tree for a week plus. For $18, it did a pretty good job, though some of the bigger poops left little poops in their wake. Also, the soap smelled soooo good and was a pretty light blue. The air dryer wasn't great but they never are. If you're more prepared, make sure you bring some microfiber cloths to dry your baby. read more

Make sure you guys read the fine print on the sign; where it seems like it says that it's cheaper if you pay cash, (like most Chevrons) it actually says "with car wash" :) I put gas because I really needed to, but I would not trust coming to this Chevron again lol. Drive thru car wash has no soap. Zero. Charged me $14 but they want to save few cents on soap. Used to be a nice place to get car wash before new ownership but now has turned to total shit. read more

Had a nice interaction with an attendant here named Amin. I was inline for the car wash and the person in front of me pulled in and assumed it was broken. He quickly pulled out and ran inside. That's when Amin came out to help me. He reset the wash but the machine did the soft touch wash with the brush and I didn't order that. So I pulled out and told Amin and he quick got me setup with the wash I originally wanted. Very kind and understanding. I really appreciated his help today. Thanks Amin! read more

Can't even use the restroom at the gas station. These businesses use Covid as an excuse to close restrooms down so they don't have to clean it. So when you are on the road where are you supposed to go Pee when all these businesses close their restrooms? I won't give my money to these businesses. That goes for this gas station and McDonald's across the street that also closed their restrooms down! read more

Chevron - prices as of Oct 2020 - Gas Stations Near Me - Fremont, California

We spotted this Chevron last time we were in the area and realized the price was pretty good in comparison to the other Chevrons in the area. As our lovely Warm Springs 76 was closed for a while, we needed some other gas station to use that wasn't exorbitant in price. For Regular it was $3.59, Plus $3.69, and for Supreme $3.79, but of course this varies from season to season, to year to year. The only thing that was bad was that for your low price you have to sacrifice your time since the pumps are a bit slow. read more

I am not sure why people gave this car wash such bad reviews? It's like any other self service car wash. Pay, drive forward till it tells you to stop via the lights, sit in your car while it washes it, exit slowly to make use of the dryer. The one cool thing I liked about this wash is that you can pick brushless or not. It'll use high powered water if you prefer not to have it use the brushes on your car. Do people who write the reviews ever use a car wash? Small and hard to maneuver? We're in Fremont, not Iowa. Land is expensive here. It's the same size as a dozen other car washes in the area. Didn't realize you have to move the car forward to make use of the dryer? Not rocket science son. Most car washes operate that way. read more

Came here today because of extra time before my interview. I was looking for a fast car wash and be on my way. Instead, the deluxe wash for 13 bucks turned into a hand car wash and machine wash with towel dry service! Wow! I think this is the best service I have received for this type of budget! I ran out of time and didn't get the towel dry and the guy looked totally disappointed that I left early! Hands down, I will go there next time I need a car wash for sure! read more

I stopped on the way to a meeting to get gas at this Chevron. Usually my experience at Chevron's is always relatively good, because they keep up there pumps and generally the locations are pretty well maintained. Often this comes at a higher price for gas but knowing at least that I'll get the gas I need when I need it is all I care about. Unfortunately though this station I had to hold the nozzle the entire time it was pumping my gas. It kept going off almost instantaneously. This as most people know is super frustrating and should not happen. These pumps need to be kept maintained. Won't be stopping here for gas. read more

I brought two vehicles here for "complete" details. What I was left with was 2 wax residue covered vehicles, a greasy interior (half finished) and unclean engine bays. I will NEVER use this place to detail vehicles again. The entire detail costed me $150ea. and I spent 4 hours afterwards doing their job for them. Save your money and time and go to Auto-pro Detailers right down the road on Albrae street and ask for Marvin or Minor they will do an awesome job on ANY vehicle and WILL CLEAN YOUR ENGINE. They will provide an actual complete detail and you will leave in a vehicle that was better than when you left it. read more

FIX YOUR FREAKIN AIR / WATER unit! Left work and got a flat on my bike. Turns out valve stem locking nut was loose causing it to bleed air. Asked the attendants if I could borrow a wrench, screwdrivers, couple pennies to rub together something but they didn't have $hit looked at me like I wasn't speaking English or something ... SOB there's a carwash here with people hand washing and detailing and you don't have anything resembling a tool other than your dumba$$ ... Every time I come here, the same unattended car is parked and blocking 2 pumps. It must be an employee. Never see gas being pumped. Also, it seems that multiple pumps do not work. I will never come back unless I'm afraid I'll run out of gas. This station is less than 1 mile from my work read more

I pulled into this Chevron station to gas up last night, but although my credit card was accepted at the pump, I had trouble getting it to work and no gasoline was coming out. I went inside hoping to get assistance so I tried explaining what happened to the cashier. However, without even really listening to me, the cashier, in his broken English, just insisted that I swipe my card inside and told me it should now work. I kept trying to explain but he refused to listen and insisted I just pay inside. So I did. Once outside, I immediately realized I made a mistake and had given the cashier the wrong pump number (and saw that somebody else was already filling up gas at that pump!). I explained to the other customer and she graciously agreed to go inside to pay the amount that was now charged to my card. Once I was b:ack inside with the other lady customer, upon seeing me, the cashier starts blaming me, saying everything was my fault, and continues making demeaning remarks. The other customer commented to the cashier that he should have better customer service and there was no reason to be rude, anyone could have made the same mistake. Cashier briefly apologizes, says sorry grudgingly. So after her card was swiped at the register for the same amount charged to my card, the lady leaves and I go back to the pump to gas up. But again, the pump did not work, then I see the display read "cancelled" transaction. So I had to go back in, where there was now a line of 4 people. Upon seeing me, the cashier started yelling at me. I waited for him to finish serving the other customers who were in line, but while doing so, he continuously babbled and kept mentioning it was my fault. ( I had difficulty fully understanding what was being said because of the accent) but he was clearly mad that I was back. When it had been my turn, I tried to explain what went on but the cashier would not listen and was now yelling at me, even with other customers behind me. He accuses me of just wanting to get cash from him, even if I repeatedly say I wanted gas, not money. My tank was near empty so I tried to ignore the fact that I was experiencing the worst case of customer service, being yelled at and insulted in front of other people. I was hoping for the cashier to calm down so I can get him to at least listen to what I had to say, but to no avail. He refused to listen, and although he gave me back in cash the amount charged to my card, yelling at me while doing it. I know I was not getting anywhere, so I asked for his name. He said it was Amin. I found out shortly that this was not true and Amin was not his name, but was the name of the owner of the station. I left the station without filling up. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Even if the cashier may have had something going on in his life at that moment to make him so upset and in a bad mood, it is still no excuse to be yelling at a customer in front of other people. God is great! We had a flat tire around 880westbound by the weight station. Exited at Cushing Pkwy, at McDo and nearby hotels. We asked 5-10 people to see who have a jack to assist us fix a flat tire. But none of those were nice nor kind to assist us. I have suggested to go at the Chevron gas station. Met the cashier associate named Henry. He lend us his jack, and alas, tires fixed. Thanks so much for kind Mr. Henry! We salute you!!! I come to this chevron about twice daily, for the past 4 months because I stay at the Marriott right next to it. I'm a well known customer. First off there's a sign that says open 24 hours and the inside is supposed to be open until 11:30 I was walking up to the store at about 11:15 to use the restroom and the lady working locks the door and sits on her phone for literally 15 MIN! I was knocking at the door and she totally ignored me she had headphones on, then she walks to the back by the restrooms and I didn't see her for about 20 more min, she walks back to the register after 35 min of waiting in the cold and still has her headphones in. I asked if I can come in she said no they close at 11:00 I asked her if I can purchase a bag of chips and a drink and she went and got which ones I requested and then I hand her my EBT card which I use EVERYDAY and she slams the drawer on me and says they don't accept EBT when there's a sight on the front of the door saying EBT is accepted. She puts back in her headphones and I told her I always use this card here, she took the card and rang up the chips and drink and put her headphones in and handed me my stuff threw the window. I always have the same problem with the same women. She has HORRIBLE customer service and I literally had to make a Yelp account just to write this. This women should not be working at a gas station if she's not willing to help her customers. She was on her phone the whole time I was waiting and had her headphones in and avoided me and the two customers behind me who were also waiting. I've never had a problem with anyone else at this gas station but this women. read more
