We swung by here to try and get gas since the 76 down the road was closed. The pumps look pretty new. There was a pop out advert indicating that the pumps now have a chip reader and there is a tap option as well. The only problem is that they only accept a very limited number of credit cards and they appear to be ARCO affiliated ones only. Some select debit cards are accepted but there is a transaction fee. We tried to pay cash inside but they don't take cash. Not sure if this is a Covid precaution. Speaking of Covid precautions, they did have hand sanitizer stations right by the pump. We left without fueling up but if you are able to pay here, the gas is slightly cheaper than the 76 down the road. I know it as Betty's Arco. My wife and I have been going there for years for smog and repair. And gas of course. Mechanics are great. Friendly, helpful. Prices are always fair. 7/14/2023 Quick update. I needed my A/C serviced. Betty's quote was almost 1/2 the quote I got from another mechanic. When I showed up for my appointment they literally waved me into the garage and I was out of there is less than an hour. They evacuated the system, recharged with new refrigerant and checked for leaking. read more

Arco is one of the South Bay's good gas for less at the pump types of places. Whenever I was near this location I'd stop by and fill up. There are a few of these types of gas stations around the South Bay and I used all of them. No need to pay more at the pump for the same quality gas. read more

I beg to differ with the Yelper and the negative review...I live in the are so I frequent this station often. It's of the less expensive stations in the Milpitas area. This station was upgraded about a year or two ago. Like any other ARCO station, there is a kiosk on each island to pay with cash, credit or debit. The station is situated on a busy street surrounded by a couple of shopping centers, eateries, 4 star hotel, and 7-11. The meat of my review stems from the great customer service and trustworthy mechanics. My husband brings all of our vehicles here for all minor - major repairs, such as, Exhaust problems, Check Engine, Diagnostics, Electrical, Suspension, Cooling system replaced, Tune-up, etc... He even brings his classic (72 Chevy Nova) here to be serviced. The mechanic (Lin?) is fair, upfront and proven to be very honest and trustworthy. Our next job for them will be replacing a water pump, serpentine belt, & thermostat. All have been complete repairs, with no problems. The kicker...the PRICES! Very affordable and NOT AT ALL taking you to the bank! You can't beat great service, a job very well done, at a price that you can afford. read more

This is the best gas station in Milpitas for 2 reasons; Its cheap and they have excellent customer service! They have a debit card machine outside to use, they do not accept credit cards on the machine, but it is convenient and easy to use and fill up. Inside, customer service is great and they have some typical gas station snacks, not a whole lot( but there is a 7-11 next door). The man at the front desk is very polite, and he is always prompt when it comes to filling you in about details with your car. The auto techs are knowledgeable and efficient. This is my preferred shop for smog test ($40) and oil change ($30). Always quick and friendly. You can pay more for a shop that serves coffee and has an upscale waiting room, and get fleeced at the register, or you can go to an honest shop that lifts your vehicle the old fashioned way, where there are two chairs in the corner for waiting or you can walk across the street to wait at Mil's diner, if you prefer. Came here today for a smog check and was very pleased by the experience. The gentlemen at the front desk, Mike, was friendly, professional, efficient. I only waited like 20min total and was in and out. While I was waiting, I observed him helping 4 other customers who were coming in and he seemed to treat all of them with the same friendliness and professionalism. And by the sounds of it, he was giving one lady a pretty good deal as I believe alot of work needed to be done on her car. Waiting area is a little cramped, but not a big deal especially when they're quick anyways. I would definitely come back here for car issues. read more

BP on 43 Abbott in Milpitas,Ca have engaged in criminal activity with at least 2 enployees involved including the manager/franchise owner. an employee stloe a wallet containing over $600 cash, social security cards, drivers license, credit cards and more. When confronted, they stated BP would provide them attorneys. Tried to get copy of video and was told it was confiscated by corporate. Contacted corporate at 800-333-3991 and was told they would investigate;waited 3+ weeks and called corporate again and told they hadnt time to check yet.They said they arent concern if their franchisees are involved in illegal activities because they only deliver gas; also told if I tried to file charges or pursue legal action the would destroy all tapes and not allow the franchise to investigate this theft so just wait until they aren't busy (up to 180 days). If I didnt agree then just accept the loss and move on!!!!Be very careful at this location. (personal aside,some employees spoke a different language when I first tried to resolve this, but unknown to them I also spoke the language and one told the other not to say anything as I had no proof and they both laughed ). read more

this station is is located near where i live.. i used to go here all the time.. however when you use your credit card to get gas they charge you a extra 35 cents to do this.. 35 cents ads up!!! i usally get gas about 2 to 3 times a week .i called my bank about this and my bank told me that they are not the ones charging..its the station. gas i high enough why pay a extra 35 cents (extra) at this station or others.. find a gas station that wont charge you this extra fee.. beware of this refuse to pay that extra 35 cents especially at this station read more
