Man! Talk about frustrating... I along with 10 others were literally in the pharmacy line for soooooo long! One person at the drive through and one and the on the store side. One gentleman has already been waiting for an out and eventually left in frustration. Attempting to remain calm and not allow this to ruin my evening I had to by something and the lady at the register... no customer service skills whatsoever! I tried to lighten the mood with chit chat and the importance for customer service and she said "good for you". Wow! If I acted like that towards guests... well, I'd be unemployed. So sad! read more

The pharmacy could freshen up on their compassion and care. I just left Washington Hospital with a rib fracture. They keep sending me those automated messages calling me about issues with the prescribed meds. So I call back. Person answered rudely, kept putting my call on hold. I'm in intense pain, waiting for my meds, and even I can give them some grace and kindness and they can't do the same. Wish I had Kaiser again to not have to deal with these pharmacies. A worker just hung up on me after I told her I've been waiting for my meds and they've been calling me. I said it's been 2 hrs, she said "you need to wait for 1" and couldn't even find me in the system and hung up. What is wrong with you guys. read more

the pharm tech african guy was rude. supposed to pick up 3 medicines and told me none was ready but told him I had notifications for several days already. were talking back and forth he made it seemed that im not understanding him like i dont understand english but he is the one wearing a mask. I told him whatever is ready for pick up illl get it. He gave my medicines at the drive thru where its hard for me to reach it and hubby had incident also with the same guy told him his wasting his time. 1 star off at the check out. It was a super long line. And there wasn't a second employee to help him. 5 stars for the manager who fixed my return card issue. Thankful that he was attentive to the problem caused by one of the girl cashiers. He did a lot of work to help resolve it. Story was that Earlier when I came in to buy something the girl at the cash register told me there was 1cent left to my return card. I did the math in the car which led to a problem that I should have $4 left. I demanded for a return. However turns out she gave me the wrong balance. So it caused me a small problem. read more

The pharmacy drive up is the worst experience because of the very long waits. The items have to just have to be picked up and paid for. They are ready to go when you arrive. But you can wait up to 30 min If there are a few ahead of you. Then I found out why. The person they assigned to the window had such poor English skills I had to repeat my request 7X time then gave up and just handed her the empty bottle . she tossed my bag into the window and walked away. No can I help you with anything else or is that all for you today? I feel she just hides till the next car drives up. Some training needs to be done with these people . read more

Waited for my prescription to process for 3 weeks before they cancelled the order without notifying me. Previously when they had taken so long, I called and was accused of taking too much of my medication and that they cannot order more until the fourth week. I didn't take too much of my medication, they just can't seem to look at their calendars correctly. Fast track to today, once again I need to call because "action is needed" for a prescription my doctor had just ordered the day prior. I call them and am put on hold 5 times within 12 minutes. Each time, they answer the phone for less than a second and put me on hold without greeting me. Finally they answer and tell me it will be ready in thirty minutes. I arrive a few hours later and they give me a price without insurance. Why would you look dead me in the eye and think I'm about to pay $1300 out of pocket for that? He takes forever to fix it, all the while not letting me know why this mistake could have been made or what he is doing. Finally, after checking me out for all 6 prescriptions and a couple bags of chips, he hands me a paper bag- doesn't even open it, just hands me and watches me one by one bag my own things from under the plastic divider. Customer service is at an all time low. Can't even greet you on the phone before putting you on hold, and won't even bag your items. We do not care that you are busy. We are all h busy. A little kindness and greeting can go a long way. read more

Each time there has been an issue with missing, wrong or delayed prescriptions. The pharmacy is constantly understaffed and phone wait times are horrible. Newer Walgreens but somehow a lot of strange people wandering around it. Wouldn't expect this in a place like Fremont near a Whole Foods. Usually Whole Foods plants itself only in good neighborhoods. Not sure what all the who ha is around here. Probably has something to do with close proximity to Bart. I think there is a sweet spot with living close to bart - I think 1/2 mile to 3/4 mile away is the sweet spot. Went in for some Persil pods that were on sale. Two big containers for $8 - you can't beat that. Was told by a friend you can also get another coupon out of a newspaper and its even cheaper than that. Alcohol and Easter candy for the kids in the family was also on the shopping list... well, I guess it wasn't - all impulse items but the little ones were very happy. I suppose I should tell the little ones good deals at Walgreens for laundry detergent is really who to thank? Haha. read more

I hate that this is the closest location to me. I have to remember to start going to the other locations because I never have issues there. The customer service is subpar. I was trying to print Christmas photos on Saturday 12/20 for same-day pick up four days later and my order is still not ready. I'm really angry that I didn't read all the reviews on here before I allowed the emergency room to send my prescriptions here. worst Walgreens in the world parking can be difficult. And whether you do the drive-through or you go inside to get prescriptions expect to wait at least an hour. You're lucky if they even have two people working both the drive-through window and the walk up counter. Every client takes over half an hour. Not sure why they let people who have prescription issues or have to wait for prescription. Just sit in the window and block everybody else from just picking up prescriptions. read more

I've had a prescription sent in from 11am in the morning and after getting off my shift I said let's go try and pick it up as one would think by 1130 PM AT NIGHT THAT IT WOULD BE READY, RIGHT? Medication is fine but my partner is at home with a sinus infection. Got off the phone with Teladoc at 11:30, called at 3:30 asking if the antibiotics and automated system stated "we are still working on it." Called again at 4:45 and talked to someone and they said medication was ready for pick up but literature given with medication says it was printed at 1:15. Not sure how automated their system is but it seems like a pharmacist would have to go into the system and mark the medication as ready for pick up, which it didn't. And we didn't receive a call if it was. I suggest speaking to a person or showing up to the pharmacy if you want medication in a timely manner. read more

Let me start off by saying.. I only go to this Walgreens since it's open 24/7 and it's close to where I live. However, if you have the option to go any where else (aside from the CVS in the Hub) I would. I came by today around 4pm. I came to pick up medication. When I was there there were two people checked in, one person in front of me, and no one behind me. By the time I left, I waited 45 mins in line and there were 6 people behind me. There was also a huge drive through line. But this is where it gets even worse... they have over 6 people working. The pharmacist herself looked completely stressed out and everyone looked like chickens with their heads cut off. The guy in front of me had a few medications and guess what.. the CVS staff almost gave him the wrong person's medication! AND someone else came back, asked for the pharmacist by name, because apparently they also gave her THE WRONG MEDICATION DOSAGE with someone else else's info on the bottle...it was someone else's prescription! I understand that the staff may be doing what they can but clearly more staff needs to be hired for their busy hours. Being unstaffed increases the risk of errors!! Everyone is human! Please hire more staff or please fix your work flow to prevent this! Thankfully the person who received the wrong medication was young with good eye site! Imagine if it was an elderly person who just read the directions and took to much! Elderly people with many medications can have worse side effects! Please please please do something to ensure this doesn't happen again. read more

First of all, apparently Walgreens lost my prescription. I called the doctor to re-confirm that he had sent it to that Walgreens store and he gave me the date of the prescription & name. I went back, stood in line at Walgreens at 2600 Mowry Ave. for a long time only to be told they had NO prescription. I contacted my doctor (again ) who re-confirmed the drug & the Walgreens. This time I called before going. I actually got a person who said they had received it on the date specified but I needed to speak to the pharmacist. She then put me on hold for more than 25 minutes. No one ever picked up the phone again. It really wastes people's time, especially when they're sick. I will never use this Walgreens again. What is going on with Walgreens Pharmacy. It takes forever for prescriptions to get filled, they cancel prescriptions without any notification and then when you call the first person tells you they can see the prescription and don't know why it's cancelled, then put you on hold for an hour only for the next person to tell you they don't see the prescription at all, but they'll reach out to the doctor to have it resent. WTF. But they see the other prescription that was put in the same day (yesterday) and now they'll fill it and it should be done in 30 minutes. If they aren't gonna fill the prescriptions until you call about them, what the hell is the purpose of the doctors sending them electronically. What is the issue, staffing? Maybe a local mom & pop pharmacy is better. As much as I hate Kaiser for medical I sure wish I could use their pharmacy. read more

The pharmacist I did not have the pleasure of dealing with was not only slow and unprofessional but seemed exceedingly proud of the fact she was able to single handily waste over a hour of my time. I patiently waited for over 30 minutes in line before kindly asking if my prescription would be available to fill today so I'm not wasting my time waiting in line. She demanded me back in line then with a grin on her face told me to be patient. And in the end of it all they didn't fill MY prescription. Can't stress enough how badly everyone needs to avoid this pos pharmacy. TL;DR - If you're new to this particular pharmacy, maybe you're attracted to their availability or central location, I'd seriously reconsider using them. Poor customer experience all around. There are better places to get your prescriptions filled than here. I had my doctor send over my prescription Friday 8/18. I didn't get any notifications over the past few days so I decided to check the status in the Walgreens app today and noticed that the status is still "In Progress". Strange that a prescription sent a week ago is still in the process of being filled.... So I called the store to check in. I called once in the morning, waited a couple of minutes to talk to someone who then put me on hold and transferred me to the pharmacy dept. I waited on hold for about 15 min when the line started ringing! I was finally going to speak with a pharmacist about my prescription! Or so I thought... after ringing for a min, the cuts out and an automated message is asking if I want to give a survey about today's call. WTF? So I call back, I'm on hold again, except this time, I'm given an option by the automated systems to have Walgreens call me back when they're available. So I select that option. They end up calling me back 3 hrs later! When Walgreens called, it was an automated system at first, then I get a person who took down my information and then transferred me to the pharmacy department. I was on hold again. This time for 35 min! Some thing similar to the first call happened.... the line started ringing, and after a min or two, the call ended, no survey this time. What is going on?? I called a third time, this time when I spoke to the operator, I told her the situation, and she transferred me again to the pharmacy. The line rang for a couple of minutes and just ended abruptly again. On my 4th call, I explained to the operator my experience and asked her what's going on. She told me that the pharmacy department is very busy and is not accepting calls... What? Is this their standard business practice? So it would seem that Walgreen Pharmacy's business is so good, that when you get busy, you don't care to answer your calls eh? Just pick up to hang up. I'm done with Walgreens, I've wasted too much of my time with them. I'll be moving all of my business to Rite Aid. read more

I came here to get some photos printed. I was there for almost 3 hours and in that time, I seen thee most unruley customers treat these workers so disrespectful. There were only 2 workers and they juggled the chaos of multiple lines, back to back questions, kids throwing tantrums, adults throwing tantrums, and they both still had a smile on their face. They were so professional and handled a super busy evening with such grace and kindness. Dustin, was the gentleman working the photo department and Miguel was the front of the store/register. I watched entitled customers demand passport photos, cabinets opened, get furious just waiting in line, and both employees had the best work ethic and treated everyone the same. They were HUSTLING!! Dustin told me they were super swamped with graduation so my photos would not be ready same day. No biggie. I felt so bad for them, being the only ones running the store, that I just said I would call tomorrow to check in. When I called a super nice woman answered and told me she actually just finished mine an hour ago, so it was ready. When I camr in, she was just as pleasant in person as she was on the phone (just like Dustin and Miguel). Hailey, Dustin and Miguel deserved to be recognized for what I witnessed. Aside from my experience with my product (photos came out great), the customer service was spectacular, and I was only there for 2ish hours. They are open 24 hours, so I know they have dealt with much worse. I hope these 3 get rewarded somehow! They were incredible for how short staffed it seemed. THEY KILLED IT!!! read more

Don't rely on anything their App tells you regarding prescription status, esp availability of same or next day delivery at additional cost. If I could give a negative 10 I would! The pharmacy here at this Walgreens is the WORST pharmacy EVER!! The fill time for meds are ridiculous and the wait times in line just to find out that they couldn't fill a prescription after having it sent by the MDs office over an hour ago is even more irritatingly absurd! For a pharmacy that is next to a hospital and doctor offices, they can't ever fill a prescription in a timely manner. Several pharmacy techs walking past the windows to pick up/ drop off just looking at you while there are 7 people deep in line is frustrating to see. Even the pharmacy manager just working as slow as molasses without any empathy for those waiting in line. People do not do to pharmacies because they feel good, especially pharmacies next to a hospital and doctor offices! To make people wait an unreasonable amount of time for needed medications is discourteous. Walgreens, do better! Please hire more people and staff your pharmacy so that sick individuals do no need to wait an inappropriate amount of time to get their medications dispensed and picked up! Also, placing a sign to say "be extra patient" and that there are other means of getting much needed meds faster like using your delivery service is not cool. That may work for patients who have medications refilled on a monthly basis but that does not work for patients who need meds for an emergent MD visit. read more

The drive thru pick up Is even worse, sometimes it takes 15-20 min for 1 car to be served. This used to be 24 hr pharmacy where I can come in early to avoid lines, but now its only 9a-9p. This has to be the worst Pharmacy in Fremont. They don't care about their customers at all. On Sunday, 1/9/22, the entire Pharmacy was closed due to not having any staff available to work. How are people supposed to pick up their medications?? It was drive thru only, but the line was so long! This store and Pharmacy is a huge joke. They never have enough staff working at the Pharmacy, you'll always encounter a huge long line, all the way down to the photo department! The store itself is not any better. It's not just the Pharmacy. The store has zero shopping carts or hand baskets for customers to use while shopping. The front register lines are also always long too. This is for the Pharmacy department. I've been to quite of few Walgreens and nothing comes close to being as low as this one.... Horrible customer service from the "Manager" herself. It seems like nobody wants to help customers when there's a long line waiting. The ladies working will just stare at the line and act like they're doing something. I waited almost 45min to pick up a Prescription that I had to keep checking if it was ready. I would look at the back and workers will just be on the phone laughing, while there's a huge line outside. Man all these low star ratings looks like mainly for the pharmacy but definitely understand how frustrating things can get while you're waiting for a long period of time. Used to go to this location frequently due to work being close by. Always great workers and super friendly cashiers. My rating is strictly on the photo side. Needed a quick picture taken before my passport application and the lady who helped me was super quick and very informational. Wish I remembered her name. Speedy process and I got my passport photo within 5-8 mins. For the most part I recommend the photo place. All the workers seem to be working pretty hard. Pharmacy might need more help but other than that it's a good location. read more
