I stopped this Walmart this morning to get some supplies. I came right when they open and was surprised to see there was already a line of people waiting. I like coming to Walmart in the early morning because they aren't as busy. I found the personal care area just fine but had to ask for help since the item I wanted was behind a locked cabinet. A lot of the items I saw in this Walmart was behind a locked cabinet. I walked over to the car detailing aisle as well and saw everything there was locked behind a cabinet. This Walmart has a Subway inside which I haven't seen before. They also sells Krispy Kreme donuts next to the self checkout too. I used the self checkout station to pay for my items. read more

Bought a set of new tires from this Walmart a couple years ago, along with road hazard warranty.... Worst decision made ever! The van had 1 complete flat tire in the freeway, my van has no spare tire as it's. AWD.... Had the van towed in last night and came back just now, they said I dnt hv an appt and earliest they will work on my van is 5 days later, not offering to see if they can fit it in when they hv time in btw, even it needs 2-3 days....it's ridiculous , but I get that They told me I hv to move the van out within 24hrs if not, it will be towed away Now I hv to order another tow service to haul it away to America's tire This is the most ghetto and worst experience in my life.... I usually go to this Walmart to buy pack of canned sodas since they're cheaper here compared to other grocery stores. That one location near Newpark Mall is permanently closed, which is inconvenient since I usually drive around here. Pretty much, the prices here are cheaper compared to other department stores. You may find supplies that you need at least, but keep in mind that it's a discount store and so don't expect that they have plenty of options. At the same time, it's a large store and you'll probably find the items you need. I wouldn't say that it's one of the best department stores due to having many cheap items, but at least it's big and that you have save yourself some money. read more

Stopped by at the Osgood Walmart location at the request of my sister in law. Apparently this store is more spacious and offers a lot more than our nearby Walmart. Yes, at first glance the traffic flow seems a lot lighter than my normal go-to Walmart but that only seemed like the case in the clothing section. Once I left that department, I was met by bumper to bumper cart traffic and a whole lot of weaving and dodging other customers. While I wouldn't classify this Walmart as being terrible, the biggest letdown and difference from this store vs my normal would be the substantially smaller produce area. This Walmart seems to specialize and offer more processed/frozen goods as opposed to fresh fruits and veggies. 3 stars. read more

A friend of mine at work would always tell me that he was going to make a video game called "Walmart pro greeter". In this game, your goal would be to become a pro greeter at Walmart but you would have work your way up the ladder. You would start out at a small convenience store and then move to bigger locations until you made it to the pro level at Walmart. Unfortunatelly for you and the world, ea never green lit this fantastic game idea. And now Walmart doesn't even have greeters. This skill will be lost forever and the young ones will never know what it was like. Young kids will never have the opportunity to wonder, "do greeters have any authority to stop me from leaving?" The greeters have now been replaced by a person in a t-shirt that says "security" which makes it sound more official but can they officially stop you to scan your receipt? We've somehow lost the better Walmart in Fremont and now only have one on osgood. The other one was busy so I'm not sure what happened. I'll have to ask nextdoor. This does have better fast food restaurants in the lot tho. Subway is now inside walmart instead of mcdonald's. useless trivia, these subways inside of walmart are all franchises. someone volunteerily paid a license fee to set up a subway in walmart and also a fee to subway to own a subway. This is the only walmart in fremont so it is the best walmart in fremont. This location does not have the big deli/produce section you would see in Milpitas but hopefully, they will upgrade it. I dropped my car off for tire service at 3:05 PM and expected a routine visit. After checking in, I used the restroom, grabbed food, and started shopping. Around 4:00 PM, I checked the service link and saw my service had been marked as "stopped," yet no one contacted me, even though my info was on file. I had to call to ask what was going on. Only after that call did a new service ticket appear and work resume, which made it feel like my car had been forgotten. I was later told my car had been pulled out and then brought back in due to internal confusion. What should have been simple tire service took over 2.5 hours, and I didn't get my car back until around 5:30 PM. Despite the delays caused by poor communication and time management, I was still charged about $35. Customers shouldn't have to monitor their own service or call to get work restarted. We went here to check out if they had a specific instant decaf coffee which based on the Walmart.com site said was in stock. Unfortunately when we went there, it was no where to be found. But we did end up grabbing some other staples we were in need of getting meaning fiber gummies again a very specific brand that no one else has except Walmart. Parking here is not too difficult. When I said something they claimed they were backed up, but I found out another car with a 5 pm appointment was in the bay before mine. They forgot my car, didn't admit it and didn't offer any kind of compensation for my time. I arrived at 4 and left at 6:20. A long time, AND THE LAST TIME, to install 2 tires. The workers here are really rude. FYI, fitting rooms and customer service closes at 8pm. So if you want to try on any clothes or return anything, make sure to do it before the time frame. My issue is that I was around the fitting room vicinity at 7:30 and couldn't find anyone to open the fitting rooms. Finally someone came and they told another person to ask on the speakers for assistance. But by the time another employee came it was 8:01 pm. Literally one minute before they close. It's like they purposely came after it closed so they wouldn't have to open it. I don't understand why there isn't anyone by the fitting room area anyway because this was during peak hours. There was a couple of other people also waiting to try items on. Additionally, it takes a while for them to open up the cases if you need to get something there (like hygiene products). Overall, I prefer target over Walmart but the mouth was I was looking for (guru nanda oil pull) is only sold at Walmart. Otherwise, this would not be my preferred market. read more

Visited yesterday to buy some items. I only shop at Walmart once in a while maybe every 2-3 months. All items were ok except the Blanco soft white bread. I opened the bag the next day to make a sandwich. There was a strong chemical smell coming from the inside of the bag & bread. I opened the second bag & ot was the same thing. I dumped the bread. I didn't go back to exchange the items because Walmart isn't close to where I live. I did inform the store. read more

i had a tire change appointment at 10:00 am but around 10:20 am, nothing's happening. we had asked them about it and said that there is another mechanic who is coming in at 10:30 am. what is the point of setting up an appointment if they couldn't do it on time? i needed to use my car but it looked like it was going to take a while because of this inconvenience. while waiting, i ordered a sandwich at subway at that same walmart and the service was so bad. there is an indian lady who works there and looked like she hated doing her job, wouldn't even smile at customers. this walmart needs a lot of improvement when it comes to customer service. very disappointing read more

For some unexplained reason, they no longer deliver fresh vegetables. The super store in Milpitas also does not deliver fresh vegetables. I don't understand why this is. Wasted 30 mins here waiting on staff to help open doors to the outdoor area at 7PM and left without buying what I needed. I was trying to source specific charcoal brands and bag sizes for work, and the app stated this location had several products in stock on my list. I live in SJ, so this was not the most convenient location to get to. First employee tried to get someone over to help but managed to sneak away after 7 mins without updating me. I realized after 15 mins that she wasn't coming back. I wandered around for a while and eventually found another employee who might help. He said he'd need a supervisor to get access and would be right back. I wait around for maybe 8 mins only to be told that the supervisor says "there's charcoal in the front of the store." After walking all the way there, I found only one brand of one size, which was not at all what I needed to buy. A disappointing waste of my time. read more

I was at this location on Osgood and had a horrible experience with the front end lead manager Sonal. She's the true example of who NOT TO HIRE to represent your store! As a customer, I will NEVER visit this location again! The way she feels about her job truly shines through her attitude! She was extremely rude and I couldn't believe the way she spoke to me and my daughter. It was very appalling! We were there at about 10am on Tuesday June 3rd. She was very argumentative and for no reason. I truly fault the higher management though. Not having the right employees truly hurts business. This location is close to me but having no one else in the store to speak with regarding her service is not acceptable. Not training management the right way is also not acceptable! When you have workers that hate their job and give the impression that they hate life in general- it's truly not a good look! I rather spend my money elsewhere where I'm valued and respected! A worker by the name "Reginald" snatched an item from my husband's hand while we were looking for a treat for our dog. My husband was laying an item he had on his hand to look at another treat since we were looking at the ingredients. He hadn't decided yet and was going to set it down on the shelf as this man came up to us and took it out of his hand and put it away. After that I kept my mouth shut because my husband doesn't like me arguing. He then kept staring at my husband EVERYTIME he grabbed something. Super annoying experience. While in the store I used my app to locate items I'm looking for. The app tells you which aisle and if it's in stock. It also gives the price. But guess what??? If the price stated online is lower than the price in the store they WILL NOT price match. Although you're in the store, you'll have to order online with store pickup. I actually would have gone through the extra steps but the only pickup time available was 5pm and I was in the store at 1pm. I didn't want to leave and come back. Every single one told me they don't have a key or press the help button. 13 mins, counted 7 employees walk by the aisle I was in.
