I don't like coming here to CVS, always delayed. I get message saying my medicine is ready, then I drive all the way here, and they say: "Wait 30 minutes more, please." Why they send message if not ready yet, ano? This is so inconvenient for me, ha. Staff is nice enough, but the system is not reliable. They must fix this problem! read more

I went to pick up an online order today. I see why this store already has 2 stars. The kid at the counter seemed very uninterested in helping me when I first walked up. He went and got my order and put them on a counter. When I asked for a bag, he reached over and grabbed one and handed it to me. Didn't even try to bag the items. I only shop here because it is near me. Target dropped their DEI program so I don't shop there anymore. So, I guess I will just have to be my own customer service. read more

I went to pick up medication for my father after his discharge from the hospital and there was an issue with our prescription getting rerouted by the hospital to another location, but the pharmacist T, was beyond helpful and rectified the issue. I decided to switch from Walgreens to CVS because of the latter's refusal to send abortion medication to those in need. Well, I'm going to have to put my principles aside and go back to Walgreens or keep looking for an alternative because CVS is an absolute hot mess of a store. At lessr 1/3 of the store looked like a hurricane had swept through or a smash and grab gang had just rampaged through (beauty supplies,.make up, hair products etc) -- with most products missing from shelves, mixed in with others , or on the floor... I finally gave up looking for the one item I had come for and of course there is zero customer service at this store. Had an appointment today for a booster shot around 5pm. I came for my appointment on time only to find out that I would have to come back 1 hour 15 min later because the person administering the vaccination needed to go on their lunch break. What's the point of having an appointment then. I came back around 6:30pm and there was a long line of about over 10+ people waiting to get their vaccination. Mom needed a shingles vaccine so we went for a walk-in vaccination. The pharmacy staff here is AMAZING! I'm specifically writing this review to give a shout out to the pharmacist Kevin! He was literally the sweetest and extremely helpful. He explained everything step by step. He even went out of his way to get us a clip board to fill out the vaccination forms. He made our day. So nice to see someone so passionate about their work and are extremely friendly and kind. Thank you Kevin and the pharmacy staff for being so helpful! read more

So this has been my moms local drug store since I was a kid. It was my first job in the 90's when it was longs. I've been going to help my mom out a lot lately. She always needs milk. Everytime I go there all the milk is expired MULTIPLE DAYS. Like today (10-13) most of the milk expired on 10-9...Not "about to be expired but expired. The shelves are barren and it looks like many stores did March 30th 2020 (pandemic times). Just a wreck. Take some pride and stock your shelves CVS. Embarrassing. read more

Its been awhile I have been here, maybe months.... but recently I have gone a couple of times at this location after the gym to pick up a few things and wow they have remodeled this place with new isles and it looks more organized as well. The staff here lied to me. When I called about my prescription they told me my prescription was ready but when I went to pick it up they said the insurance didn't cover it. I asked "Sapurna" who claimed to be the pharmacist "why would someone working at the pharmacy would lie about my prescription" , she just shrugged and had no explanation. She did not ask me the time of my call because she didn't care about me as a CVS customer. Watch out for liars here. read more

The whole business is really dirty & dusty. The selection of items is always low and or old stock. The staff here tries their absolute hardest to be as low contact as possible with their customers. You're expected to use their filthy self checkout machines and to juggle your items out the door with no option to have a bag. The Newark location is the same, unfortunately. read more

The only location to 100% shut down pharmacy during business hours. Funny thing is they don't even follow their own lunch hours they closed 5min early and looked right at me as they closed the gate. The pharmacy here is terrible: I CALLED to confirm receipt of new dosage of Rx but when I went to pick up they had the old dosage. (The person I spoke to on the phone confirmed the new Rx.) They said my prescription was not called in and tried to call the next customer in line, and when I insist they look, they finally found it. This place is a joke.. i came in yesterday (8/21) to pick up some pictures that my wife and I had printed here. I come by at 8am after my 12hr shift from work only to find out that our pictures weren't ready. I told the cashier that we received an email saying that it was ready, but she insisted that they weren't and told us to come back between 2:30pm-3pm.. i wasn't able to return because I had work that evening.. Anyway, today (8/22) I came back at 8am again, after a 12hr shift from work to pick up the pictures.. and guess what.. the manager was late, so the customers and the cashier had to wait outside.. apparently, the manager is the only one who can unlock the door and she was 40mins late.. she didn't have the decency to apologize for her tardiness, but instead talked about how terrible traffic was etc.. look stupid lady, you should know by now that bay area traffic is amongst the worst in the nation.. you're the "manager", you need to perhaps plan ahead and leave your house earlier because things can come up on the road.. and most of all, have the common decency to apologize to those who were inconvenienced.. Lastly.. maybe the cashier needs to be trained on how to smile and greet customers too.. that fat Indian lady gave me this dirty look when I asked her for our pics.. bitch, i was out there waiting for 40mins just like you.. so whether you're pissed about your boss being late, or maybe you're mad about your "profession", you need to wipe that ugly look on your face and learn to greet your customers.. Customer service is not great at all. I came to pick up my photos that were suppose to be done at 2pm (it's 6pm) and the 2 young girls looked for them, didn't find them and didn't say anything to me. So I waited 10 min to the side . Then another girl asked me what I needed and I said photos . She said the printer hasn't been printing and she doesn't know when it will be ready. She told the other girl it was out of paper . Seems like nobody was attending to the photo area today . Very messy back there. So we waited another 10 min and the girl who was suppose to help me, clocked out and didn't say one word to me. When we looked at the printer it said paper jam. I really wanted to mail out these holiday cards by tomorrow morning . Pretty bummed out right now . Have to come back tomorrow and I'm worried they still might be done. Not coming back here. We came to this CVS to check if they had some stuff in stock and they did which was awesome! I will say the location isn't the best, there were some guys outside hassling my sister and I as we went inside and as we left. However once inside it was pleasant. This location is very clean and organized. It's clear where everything is and it's very spacious - nothing feels to crowded or anything. I just went to a different CVS and it had a different layout so I guess CVS doesn't follow a certain layout which is fine! I made an appointment for a flu shot online, filled out their forms online, and was on time for my appointment. CVS sent me a reminder text shortly before my appointment. When I arrived they told me they were out of flu shots. (Note: I am required by my employer to get a flu shot to be able to work on site). There was no indication online of flu shots being unavailable and they did not send me a text telling me they were out and that I should reschedule (both of which would have been acceptable). read more

We came to this CVS to pick up some household supplies, which were on sale at incredible prices. Aim toothpaste for 77-cents, Xtra liquid laundry detergent for $1.49, VO5 hair shampoo for 66-cents, canned tuna for 49-cents, and an unbelievable price of 25-cents for a bottle of Sunlight dish liquid, which the store had on clearance. It was hard to believe that this store is having such a great sale on so many essential items. It was great when the girlfriend (wife) saw the flyer and said: "We are going to Long's (she still calls CVS stores Long's). I must say that the prices of the advertised items in the store are great. On the advertised items, they have really competed well with the discounters in the area. I just wished that they would compete well with the non-sale items. When we went to check-out there was only one cashier on duty. It was really quick checking-out even with the lonely cashier. She was friendly and smiling when we got to the front. Overall, I enjoy the great sale prices and but I do wish that they understood that there are many options for the same offerings that they have in the store and compete more reasonably in the area! read more

This review is for the pharmacy. The customer service here is terrible. Wait times when calling the pharmacy are often 20 minutes or more. Twice today I've spent over 20 minutes waiting on hold only to be hung up on as soon as I finally reach a person, so I have to go through the whole process again. I am looking for a new pharmacy, the customer service here used to be ok but has steadily degraded over the past few years. read more

I was at another CVS location but that location didn't have what I wanted so I came here afterwards. I walked inside and the place seems slightly crammed. Normally, when I walk into a CVS, there's this huge vacant space before you reach the aisles but at this place, all of the shelves are located right in the front and placed parallel to the cashier's station. Standing in line felt a little awkward because as the line grew, the customers had to swerve over to the side (right into one of the aisles). Thankfully, no one was looking at that shelf when I was there. I actually didn't get as much as I wanted to, due to limited inventory at this store. The cashier who helped me was very friendly and all of my coupons scanned with no problems. Parking is plentiful. read more

I power through and come back at 1:00, just to make sure it's ready. It's not. Cashier tells me it's in process and has not been reviewed by pharmacist yet. Unreal. I've been regular customer since 20009 switched from Walgreen. Their system, service level have always been subpar. I use oral rinse and my dentist always prescribed 3 bottles and every time CVS just dispenses 1 bottle and I have to go back and forth to get 3 bottles....This time they claim they even did not receive the prescription from my doctor who ordered on Thursday...very frustrated experience dealing with non-competent people and I decide to switch to others. read more

If I can't find what I'm looking for in my own neighborhood (Walmart, RiteAid, or Target), then I can usually find it here. They haven't failed me yet. I had noticed the Manager Mohammed being somewhat rude in the past but the final straw was when both cashiers were not ringing because of one problem or another... The cashiers summoned him to the front but he left without resolving the problem. Unable to purchase my items I felt I had no choice but to walk out. The cashier was also totally rude to the customer, simply repeating the nonsense that Mohammed had told her, without apology or sense of empathy whatsoever. I ordered some photos online and used the 1-hour processing service. I printed out my order number and stopped by CVS after work. Keep in mind, I ordered my prints around10:00am and got off work at 4:30. So I walk into the store . . . "Hi, can I pick up some pictures" "Sure, what's your last name?" She goes behind the photo desk and searches. "I can't find them. When did you order them?" "I ordered them online earlier this morning." She responds with a confused look, "Oh, the picture person doesn't come in until 5:00 today" What the hell? My order confirmation stated I would get them in an hour and now I have to wait until tomorrow. A heads up would have been nice. Anyway, I get them the next day and the pictures look great. Plus, the prints were free. If you sign up for a CVS account online the first 50 4 by 6 prints are free. Free is never a bad thing. read more

What a totally miserable place to shop! Get in line to buy a simple item and the one cashier is dealing with the shopper with 25 old receipts each with a dime off. The nature of their coupons, which are printed on your receipt cause this. Sure it gets customers back in to use the coupon but since the coupon is linked to your CVS card why do you need to keep the paper? In a 21st century world once your customer number hit the POS computer all your earned discounts would be subtracted. Go to pick up a prescription and wait behind three or four people who all need to call their doctor, fight about insurance etc. It's not the patients fault, it's the fact that CVS only staffs one pharmacy clerk per shift. You can see it in the eyes of the overworked pharmacist who knows if she goes to help they'll just be more backed up. Bottom line, CVS as a company does not want to increase payroll even though I suspect no one there is making any real money. Time to move to Haller's. read more

I always have a hard time picking up my prescriptions at this place. For some reason the pharmacist always wants to short me. For example if my doctor writes a prescription for 60 pills and states on the prescription that it will last me 30 days - the pharmacist will take it upon herself to dispense only 30 pills and tell me that they should last a month. She will do this on multiple prescriptions. I have no trouble at all getting the correct quantity at other pharmacies even at other CVS/Pharmacies. And, as a matter of fact, I now drive to the CVS that is located in Milpitas so that I can get the proper quantity and avoid the hassle of dealing with a rude pharmacist. . read more
