Then CVS texted me right the way that they had my prescription and it would be ready by 10 am . I was driving over there and it texted me again that my order would be delayed . By 10:12 am the system texted me saying that my prescription was ready . The pharmacy pick up counter had a long line . They had two cashiers and the line was moving fairly quickly. I like that they have one line for " regular pick up " and one line for " mobile pick up " . Mine was mobile so I got to reach the cash register after one person ahead of me . The caster / technician was very helpful and efficient. I went in and out in no time ! On a Sunday morning and with all the holiday shopping . This kind of service was super helpful.

I've had so many nightmare experiences with them all, but CVS is the worst. I've lost count of how many times that I waited on hold or waited in person in their horribly long lines. Three different times in one month CVS texted me that my prescriptions were ready and after I waited in line forever, the person at the counter told me that they actually weren't ready, so I'd have to wait even longer! Unbelievable! I've actually stood in line for nearly an hour on several occasions and watched the workers at CVS -- more than six, not counting the pharmacist -- ignore the ringing telephone for exactly 30 minutes before one person would answer it, then they would ignore the next few calls again for another 30 minutes. Infuriating! Now you know why nobody ever answers the phone when you call. I was so fed up, I went on a mission to try every other pharmacy in the East Bay until I found one that had better customer service. CapSmart was the winner, hands down. CapSmart on Mowry is a hidden gem -- a small business that's family owned and operated and has flawless customer service and competitive prices (they will price match other pharmacies if you ask!). When they text me that my prescriptions are ready, they're ALWAYS ready! And if I choose to pick up in person, I never have to wait longer than five minutes. The workers are super fast and so friendly and professional! I hope everyone switches to CapSmart and puts those other terrible pharmacies out of business. Last year I moved 30 minutes away, but I still use CapSmart because they are worth the drive -- and if I don't want to pick up in person, they'll ship my meds right to my door. I was told I needed to come back in 10 minutes because the pharmacist needed a consultation on one of the medications. Each person in line was told the same thing. This is a lie; the truth is that the non-pharmacist staff cannot give out the medication when the pharmacist is not present. It would be nice if they would just be honest. There was no apology for the delay and the pharmacist break times are not listed apart from the lunch break. There usually are no greetings like "Hello" or "Have a nice day" or "Thanks for doing business with us". There is rarely a smile. I go to this pharmacy only because it is the only one left in my neighborhood.

With reduced hours of operation and a phone service that blocks you from reaching the team members, how are people going to get service, get their medication, get their shots.
