The attitude of the staff is ridiculous, this woman I talked this morning was so rude. They know this is delivery but the medication still is there for pickup. They said one time it was delivered and I said no it's not here, later they found it sitting there in the pharmacy. Changed all the medications from this place to another pharmacy. read more

Staff is quick to give attitude and will not do much to help figure out any issues with your medication. I had to make all the calls between doctors, pharmacy, and health insurance to figure out what was going on. Even after figuring everything out, they failed to order my medication and ultimately told me they will not fill my order and to go elsewhere. Communication is poor and they do not care about their customers. I do not recommend. read more

Small pharmacy near the Washington hospital. Never heard of this place until I tried to find a spot for covid vaccine. Small but very busy. On both occasions, there was a long line for the service. Most of them were for the vaccine or flu shot. The staffs are friendly and helped us to get through the paperwork quickly so that we can leave quickly. But there was only one counter and one staff for the jab, that obviously create some delays. Small place, can't do much to improve it. Other than the long line and delays, everything else is quite good. It's part of the big complex with many institutions. Finding parking is sometimes a tough thing to do. read more

I used to love Walgreens. I went there religiously and loved to shop for random fun things while waiting for my prescription. But in recent years they would tell me "It'll be 15 minutes" when really it would take an HOUR! And that's IF they remembered I was there waiting... I also recently was prescribed some controlled medications and Walgreens started asking me very personal questions and treating me like a criminal just for picking up my normal medication at a normal rate. I got sick of it. So my doctor recommended Capsmart. I thought, "What the hell. I've got nothing to lose at this point." Since switching to Capsmart I can't believe I ever put up with Walgreens' sub-par customer service and BS. Capsmart treats me with respect and decency. On top of that, I can walk in any day and they can get my prescriptions ready in 10 minutes. They don't have any fancy high-tech online system, but they do have a phone system that allows you to enter in your prescription numbers to get them refilled. It's not a major issue for me because as I said before they can get anything ready super fast just when I walk in. They're very friendly and easy to talk to when I do call ahead. Bottom line is come to Capsmart if you want to be treated as a person instead of a number. read more

I want to shout this from the rooftops: CapSmart Pharmacy is the BEST pharmacy in California. Period! CapSmart is why I will never step foot in another CVS pharmacy, Safeway pharmacy, Walgreens pharmacy or any other pharmacy than CapSmart on Mowry in Fremont. I've had so many nightmare experiences with them all, but CVS is the worst. I've lost count of how many times that I waited on hold or waited in person in their horribly long lines. Three different times in one month CVS texted me that my prescriptions were ready and after I waited in line forever, the person at the counter told me that they actually weren't ready, so I'd have to wait even longer! Unbelievable! I've actually stood in line for nearly an hour on several occasions and watched the workers at CVS -- more than six, not counting the pharmacist -- ignore the ringing telephone for exactly 30 minutes before one person would answer it, then they would ignore the next few calls again for another 30 minutes. Infuriating! Now you know why nobody ever answers the phone when you call. I was so fed up, I went on a mission to try every other pharmacy in the East Bay until I found one that had better customer service. CapSmart was the winner, hands down. CapSmart on Mowry is a hidden gem -- a small business that's family owned and operated and has flawless customer service and competitive prices (they will price match other pharmacies if you ask!). When they text me that my prescriptions are ready, they're ALWAYS ready! And if I choose to pick up in person, I never have to wait longer than five minutes. The workers are super fast and so friendly and professional! I hope everyone switches to CapSmart and puts those other terrible pharmacies out of business. Last year I moved 30 minutes away, but I still use CapSmart because they are worth the drive -- and if I don't want to pick up in person, they'll ship my meds right to my door. And when one of my refrigerated meds needs to be delivered, the manager at CapSmart arranges for it to be locally delivered to me by a delivery driver. Amazing! You know, being a former entrepreneur, I know how tough it is when starting a new business. However, the people at Capsmart put our way of doing business to shame *After instructing them ( on several occasions) to have my important meds on hand, they "forget" and proceeded to tell me that I will have to wait until it is ordered!!! When I asked the pharmacist, he said it cost too much to stock. *Watchnout for overcharging! They WILL OVERCHARGE YOU IF YOU DO NOT PAY ATTENTION! *Hours of operation. Forget the weekends and all holidays. They are closed tighter than a soda can on those days. You better get your prescriptions soon or you will no out of luck! *Communication. This pharmacy used to be open on Saturdays and it's inconvenient that they no longer are. I've been told months ago that they would start being open again on Saturdays "next month " but it hasn't happened yet. In addition, I moved to this pharmacy because they seemed caring and because they were smaller they could devote more attention to accuracy. But there have been numerous mistakes and delays with prescriptions, and one of the pharmacists appears to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown, where once he was calm and friendly. At first they gave a hoot. Now, a year later, they seem to be struggling. Personnel changes or their shifting schedules have made them INattentive and UNcaring regarding my prescriptions. And they keep special ordering my stuff when I want to go back to Hallers... forcing me to buy there bc "they cant return it". They refilled another rx I said "no" to and delivered it. UPDATE: They are SO caring!! I have an Rx where I need a specific generic manufacturer. They have worked their BUTTS off to get it for me even though it's a pain to get. They truly have bent over backwards for me and even went to an entirely new distributor to try to get it. I can't be more thankful for their efforts. I wholeheartedly recommend them. If you want a pharmacy truly dedicated to your health and your needs, this is the place. This pharmacy really cares about its patients, and the best part is NO WAIT! The most I've ever had to wait is maybe ten minutes, and even then they are so apologetic. I just want to say, "Uh, before I started coming here, the Walgreens across the street had me wait an hour so ten minutes is nothing." I had a bad reaction to the fillers of a certain generic and they made sure to put in my account that I can only have one specific generic, and have always double checked before giving it to me. They have gone out of their way for me regarding many other things too. They remember my name and have always been nothing short of welcoming and sweet to me. Absolutely beyond amazing. The staff is so caring, and it's made getting my medications so simple and Even fun. They do absolutely anything for you, including special needs medications and controlled substances as well (schedules III - schedule V) they're always just a text away, and you can even order same day. I used to dread having to go to Walgreens or CVS, as there was always some kind of problem. All of those worries are gone now, because of this absolutely wonderfully innovative and helpful company. I'm telling you guys, once you switch your prescriptions over on the Capsule Pharmacy app or website, life becomes a whole lot easier and so much less stressful. HOWEVER, their inattention to detail has wasted several hours of my time and a crazy number of phone calls even months later. They labeled tablets as capsules, so there has been a huge problem switching to mail order involving my doctor. They labeled another prescription with the incorrect doctor. This is a pharmacy. This pharmacy really cares, and no wait times while they fill your prescriptions. If you have refills, they text, call you and leave a message on your voicemail. I have gone here a few to pick it up because I live nearby, and they are very courteous and will go an extra mile to get the prescription you need early. This is probably the best option compared to other pharmacies. read more

I love this little pharmacy. I prefer coming here than Walgreens or CVS for my mom's meds because there's usually no line and they deliver. You can tell that the owner works really hard to take care of the customers. If they make a mistake, he makes sure to correct it right away. There have been a couple of times where the medication were not delivered on time, but it was because of the delivery man getting caught in traffic, etc.., not the pharmacy itself. My doctors are in the same medical building as Capsule Pharmacy. I was prescribed two new drugs which would have taken me at least a week from my mail order pharmacy. My doctor suggested this newly opened pharmacy on the ground floor. One drug was not on my insurance company's formulary hence the Doctor would need to approve it, the second drug was out of stock. The pharmacist offered to contact the doctor to go thru the leg work and had the medical sales rep. provide the other medication. The next day the pharmacist dropped off the medication to my home in Milpitas on his way home. How is that for service for such a small sale? Almost as rare as finding doctors who still makes house calls! read more
