Shelves aren't always stocked, sales associates always seem to be hiding, and this particulate CVS location is almost always bare of patrons whenever I stop by. With all of that being said, I appreciate easy to navigate parking, the lack of long lines, and I can confidently say I've never needed any type of assistance from a sales associate beyond being rung up. Absolutely horrible. I waited so long for the woman working there to get me my medication. After asking my name and birthdate about 100 times, she tells me that they don't have it. And I keep telling her that my doctor has sent the order. She tells me she is gonna get somebody else to help her. After waiting another 10 minutes another woman comes and tells us to come to another counter. She starts asking for name and birthdate again. Suddenly, she is gone without saying anything. She comes back after 10 minutes to tell us that they haven't received the order. I completely understand if they didn't receive the order since that is not on them, but to not make that clear is just a waste of my and other customers' time. The first woman explained it as if they hadn't prepared my order yet. If they had only been a little bit more clear, it would have saved us 40 minutes. Changed my pharmacy. read more

I greeted her and said I had a photo pick up and so she was on her way to me when other customers started working their way to pay for their items .... She turns around from being on her way to help me and starts heading back to the register to ring the other customers up and they kept coming and she kept ringing them up not even worried about me the first customer to approached her first before any other customers where even in sight , I had to go find another cvs worker to help me ... Stopped at this CVS on the way to Santa Cruz, as we needed a few things before heading down. It's conveniently located right off the highway, so stopping here is an easy side-trip if you've forgotten anything. There are tons of little stores and restaurants in this shopping center too, so there are other options available as well. Shelves aren't too stocked, but I'm sure it's a busy store, given the location. The bathrooms are pretty tidy, as is the rest of the store. I think it's pretty important to keep your store maintained, so kudos to them. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, a decent spot. read more

This is the best CVS Pharmacy in the city of Fremont. I grew up Fremont, and I've been to almost every location (Fremont Hub, Driscoll Rd, Warm Springs, Thorton, etc.). I am happy to report that 30 years later (yes, I am that old), this CVS is still providing excellent customer service. I give it 5 stars for various reasons: first, the store manager always greets me when I walk in. Second, I had to get a shot here recently (the Tdap vaccine, as I am a new aunt!). The pharmacist and the pharmacy technician were both great! They were so helpful and patient with my questions, and best of all, my insurance covered it. Free for me. Love that! Also, this CVS is large, parking is very accessible and easy in this large parking lot. Third, recently I couldn't find an item, and the clerks kindly helped me. Folks, if you need to go to a CVS and you're in Fremont, I recommend this one. read more

I grew up in the Warm Springs area of Fremont Sadly I've watched this store go down hill for years. This used to be the top pharmacy in the area. But now they offer some of the worst customer service in the area. I waited in their pharmacy line at 4:55pm on a Sunday. When it came to my turn I was told that I could not pick up my medications since it was now after 5pm. This place is managed like a joke. I decided to switch my medications to a different pharmacy. I highly recommend the Safeway pharmacy across the street. Maybe this pharmacy will rebound after new Management is put in place. read more

I'm not sure if this CVS is located in a seedy area but oddly enough there were some low value things that were under lock and key in a case within the aisles. To get help they conveniently put a button that says to press for customer assistance. I thought a light would go off somewhere or someone would be paged behind the pharmacy but nope. When you do, a really loud announcement comes on the loudspeaker informing everyone that you a customer needs help in "your section here" aisle which can cause it to be pretty embarrassing depending on what you're buying. It was pretty hilarious in all honesty but I don't think everyone would have found it that funny. Seemed like a really odd system. I've been to other CVS locations that don't have this "feature" and will probably go to one of those next time. read more

I've had my presciptions at this location for 20 years. It used to be a good location with great service. Not anymore. Customer service in the pharmacy is non existent. The last 2 times I came to the pharmacy were really unacceptable. On both occasions I waited extended periods of time for anyone to acknowlege my existence, one time for 15 minutes, the other for over 5 minutes. I was the only customer waiting in the pick up line. Pharmacy staff walked past me numerous times, never once acknowledging me. They only acknowleged me once a second customer stood behind me! I'm a wheelchair user. In years past, the pharmacy staff always saw me waiting, and always acknowleged me. Service used to be great. Now, apparently I'm invisible. I will be finding a new pharmacy. read more

I just can't do it with this location anymore. I used to come here every few days to pick up a bottle of wine on my way home, but recently I've stuck to the one by my work which is not as convenient at all. The one and only reason I decided not to come here anymore is the new cashier Ravinder. She is always making my transactions way more difficult than necessary. I'm there every single week practically and she always questions my ID. I've provided her with not only my CA DL but also my TN DL and debit card, credit card to review and each time she still acts as if I'm a sneaky kid! Like, I know you know my face by now, at this point it's like she's just trying to mess with me. The young Latino or maybe Filipino guy who used to work the register was always sooo genuinely friendly and always asking me my plans for the weekend, how work was etc. and went above and beyond even making sure my products were not expired and my proper coupons were added. I've seen him around the store these days stocking shelves and he is still remembers my face and waves. Yet, Ravinder can't even remember she's repeatedly asked me to verify I am over 21 with multiple forms of ID. Awful. read more

If you enjoy waiting in long lines while a single pharmacy employee takes forever with each customer, you'll love this CVS pharmacy on Mission Blvd. They are good at apologizing, but this slow service is the norm. Today we were told our prescription would be ready in 20 minutes, but after 30 minutes we were told the pharmacist went to lunch. While you wait, you can shop for the very overpriced items in the store. I'm moving all my prescriptions to another pharmacy and I'll purchase non-pharmacy items at Walmart. read more

I would say this is one of the better CVS's I've been to. I don't usually take the time out to review chain stores/restaurants, but it's always really respectful and friendly here. They greet you when you walk in and thank you when you make your purchase. Sometimes depending on the person, they'll also make jokes with you. It's a big store and they have a lot of merchandise, but it's never crowded and there's never a line. Oh, and it's also super clean and neat. Obviously the prices aren't anything super competitive, because it's CVS and not Walmart... But if you need to grab something really quickly, this CVS is really convenient! read more

Every time I come here to pick up there's always a line and service is extremely slow because management (yes you management) doesn't want to hire more people to get through the queue faster. If you want to waste time or have time to waste come here. They do their best to help but service is slowed and not efficient. Gave one star for the effort of the young guy trying to take the picture but really worth zero. This is not the usual CVS that I go to and it's definitely a little further than where I live but there was an item that I wanted and according to the app, this is the closest CVS that has that item. As soon as I walked in, I made eye contact with the store manager. Then I proceeded to walk around to see if I can find the item that I was looking for. Unfortunately, I couldn't find what I needed so I walked up to the store manager and asked for help. The store manager was very friendly and he even guided me to find the item number on the app so he can check inventory. After checking their inventory, he realized that they don't have that item but he offered to help me place an order or get a rain check. Since this place is a little further than where I live, I declined his offers. Out of all of the drugstores I've been to, I have never received this kind of service. The employees usually tell me, "If you don't see it on the shelf, we don't have it" and that's the end of it. Parking is plentiful. The plaza seems pretty dead but it could also be the time that I arrived (around 2:30pm on a weekday). Even though the plaza is quite empty, it's a challenge getting out of the plaza due to the traffic in this area. read more

I needed my prescription refilled 2 days early to go out of the country and Ada said no, even went as far as deactivating my prescription without my doctors consent. I remember this CVS having better days. It was my first time here in a few years, and it looks really different inside now. The space between the aisles are huge, and it makes it seem like the store doesn't have enough products to stock. It was also difficult to navigate. The lady cashier was nice, but really really slow. Really slow. She would get distracted easily, and had to inspect each coupon very carefully before scanning them, so the transactions would take even longer! This Longs is down the street from my old neighborhood. It's so strange what this little strip mall is now compared to what it used to be. My old dance studio was actually there, and then it was a liquor store, and now it's a Chinese restaurant. Crazy. Anyhoo, I like this Longs. I've killed a lot of time here. I've bought oil AND coolant for my car here, very important. It's definitely all about the random sales. My mom likes to buy like, 10 12 packs of 7-up product at a time here because they really do have good sales. I was really impressed by their most recent ad for $.87 Gatorade since it's become a staple in my diet due to my new yoga obsession. I'll always prefer Rite Aid or Walgreens to Longs though...they seem to have more products and better merchandising. read more

If I need to buy bleach for work and don't have another person covering the store, I will run to CVS and get bleach knowing full well I should go across the street to Walgreens or even Safeway to get it cheaper. I try to be nice and friendly with the cashiers, but you can try so hard when they make you feel like you're intruding in their territory. It's always empty. Longs used to be the place to go. That is, until all the supermarkets started carrying medicine and Walgreens came to town. It's one of the few lasting main stays in this plaza, even out lasting the long-gone Albertsons. I find that I only ever go here now when somebody I know has dug up a coupon in the mail for water bottles or soda. Last time I earnestly went in here was to find a certain brand of coughdrop. Sadly, they didn't carry it, but Walgreens across the street did. I find Longs some how continues to last, if only they were able to shine better in all their competition. read more

I usually buy all my meds at Target but since my child wants Legos everytime I take him with me to Target I decided to make a quick stop at this CVS on my way home. Nothing out of the ordinary, same organization and free of hazards isles. I was not asked once if i needed assistance by their employees but then again all their isles have hanging signs of where everything is at so I wasn't bothered by this. There was no one in line and I was helped rapidly by the cashier. Good experience overall and when in need for a quick stop for meds, i'll definitely stop by. read more
