This Pharmacy is difficult at best.. the lines are long and slow. I refill by my app. And nothing happens. I call to inquire and I get a call center that then transfers me to the Pharmacy..the calls ahead of me I could wait on HOLD for 30min. Makes the way to pick up your medication longer. When you go pick up your medication, it is best to call and ask if it's ready or sign up for text messaging. I hope the Walgreens management takes patients seriously. I am guessing this location is short of staff, because they simply don't pick up phone calls. I am in a different state currently and I need my prescriptions here so I canceled my prescriptions in this Walgreens online but they simply don't honor my request of cancellation. When I tried to call them to take an action to honor my request of cancellation, they simply don't pick up my phone call. Pharmacy- not the store 100% the worse pharmacy. 100% of the time they spend 15 minutes going over the billing information ( yes I understand they have to get paid), but nothings changed, and instead of asking if anything has changed, they go through every question- just like you are a first time customer. ( I've been a customer for 20 years!) Then it's the usual - your prescription isn't ready, come back in a couple hours. Then in a couple hours it usually, ohhh yah your prescription still not ready. Long waits for simple common prescriptions. Today I drop off a prescription for a simple cream, 8 hours later I get text that the prescription is ready. Wait in line, then told the prescription is ready but has to be approved by a doctor, come back tomorrow. When I ask why I was told it was ready I was told, " You can pick it up if you pay cash" (Whaaat???) I leave and 5 minutes later get a text and VM that the prescription is ready. Drive back, wait in longer line....then told that the prescription IS ready but a doctor still hasn't approved the prescription - which was prescribed by a doctor ( yes I have insurance!!!) but I can pick it up if I want to pay cash!!!! Every time I need a prescription it is so painful to get it filled here. I always end up calling after 12-24 hours of waiting and arguing with someone as to why it's not ready. Even time-sensitive prescriptions take forever. I just don't understand why they are so disorganized. I called once and they said my prescription was pending. Two hours later I call back and they say it not in the system! So why did you tell me it was pending two hours ago? I hold for another twenty minutes to discover its actually still pending. Oh and it's an inhaler and my child needs it to breathe properly. Thanks for nothing!! You just can't trust them. I've said it before and I mean it this time. I'm done with them!!! read more

I am writing this review literally as I have waited inline for a solid 90 minutes to pickup a prescription. It is a Monday afternoon at 6pm and there are only two clerks working. A long lineup in the store. I waited over 30 minutes for my turn and was told the prescription won't be ready for another 40 minutes. I was told to come back via the drive thru as that would be faster. 40 min -- if I head home and come back later the round trip would have costed longer time. So I went to do some groceries and came back at around 7:10pm. There were 6 cars ahead of me and I waited and waited. 8pm finally got my prescription. The staff looked totally stressed. All I want is to be able to use the Walgreens app to refill my prescriptions like Walgreens promises. Every time I use the app to refill my prescription, it sits in "order received" and does not move forward to "in progress" to be delivered to my house. This is for my birth control. I NEED to take this on time for my health... obviously. Once again, a corporation over-promises and does not deliver. I called the CA store I go to - and the employee gets pissy with me and says quote, "there's no one who can help." What a joke. Another obvious point - you understaff your stores severely and underpay workers severely, therefore, it is obvious why nothing can be done correctly. I am PAYING you to provide the medication given to me by doctors. But, we all want to do nothing about the insane cost of prescriptions and the corporate greed run completely amuck. Your pharmacist techs put us on hold and you can hear them pick up and put back on hold again! Been on hold for 45. My wife had to go down there in person, because I was home bed rest from a back procedure, and straighten it out. They said the prescription was at another location. My wife showed them her phone that the tech was wrong and tech then closed the window on my wife to serve another customer. She closed the window because she was proven wrong. My wife had to escalate the issue to the manager. Manger finally, after an hour, straighten it out and I got my prescription. This happens all the time at this Walgreens. Admins please fix your broken system and customer service. Your people need a better kinder customer skills! read more

The pharmacy is the worst. There's no customer service at all. The wait time is forever and the workers don't communicate well with patients, especially the pharm tech Thuy. I'm standing in the covid vaccine appointment line and the there's a gentleman in the drop off line next to me. Thuy asks me if I was there first, I tell her "yes" then she goes on to say "please understand I'm by myself and to be patient" and then she proceeds to help the gentleman that showed up after me, which took FOREVER. When I finally got to the counter, I asked her why she helped that guy after I told her I was there first. She had no explanation and then almost gave me someone else's papers, luckily another employee noticed it because those papers were for her patient...that would've been a HIPAA violation. read more

This is a review of the pharmacy, specifically the managers running the pharmacy. The pharmacy is chronically understaffed. This Walgreens is the only 24-hour pharmacy around, and also serves as Kaiser's pharmacy at night. So work volume is very high. Without sufficient staff, wait times are at times frustratingly long. I see the staff trying their best to meet demand, but there is simply too much. I wouldn't want to work here -- nonstop work, high stress, angry customers from long lines. My recent experience: - Doctor called in script at 8:30am and was told one hour. - I showed up at 9:30, waited in line for an hour, only to find that they never filled the script. Was told to come back in one hour. - I showed up again at noon, waited in line for another 30 minutes, only to learn that they still haven't filled the script. Was told they needed one hour. I insisted that the next fill is my script and got it in 5 minutes. All they had to do was pour some liquid and print a label. Sigh... read more

I have been to many Walgreens, including all of the locations in Fremont. This is by far the best Walgreens. Not only is there a decent amount of employees available to help employees, they have an excellent store manager, Kiran Vaid, who takes great care of her staff and the customers. There was no crazy waits in line, employees were helpful, and customers were happy. She was nice and happy to help me, unlike other Walgreen locations where I have only seen one employee in the entire store. She helped me with a return and an exchange and it was easy, unlike other stores where the cashiers have no idea how to do that or you have to wait 20 minutes or longer for someone who does know what they are doing to come help you. Kiran is amazing and she has restored my faith in Walgreens. Thank you! read more

Horrible experience at the photo station! The lady didn't give me my printed photos and she said I copyrighted my own photo... I had proof that I was the artist but she still said it wasn't enough. Don't waste your time at this Walgreens and go somewhere else that would treat you right! The lady even told me to go to Costco and get them printed there. How ridiculous!
