It's ONLY on Friday. For starters... call in advance. I ordered at 4pm for a 6pm pickup. They run out apparently often (and for good reason). They'll give you an order number, make sure you remember it! I was excited to get an order in and forgot and sent my mom without one. Thankfully they were so nice there and were able to locate our order. Getting right to the point, the fish fry is amazing. One of the best I have had in a long time. Very crispy, crunchy, corn flake type batter, and huge filet of fish underneath. It's just so good. The mac salad was very different, but I enjoyed it. They don't really use mayo but it has delicious seasoning. For me I prefer it with little/no mayo. The pierogies: these are handmade LEGIT pierogies. I got a 6 pack along with the two fish fries. Can't miss. Anytime I'm in the area this is my Friday night staple.

We were in for a very early lunch on a Thursday, so it was fairly empty and we had our pick of seats. They have outdoor seating, but we opted for indoors just to avoid the heat wave. The interior is decorated really beautifully. Super cute and cozy. We ordered the pierogis with cheese and the cabbage rolls. It was the most comforting food. The pierogis were soft, with a lovely, homemade dough wrapping. It was topped with some caramelized onions that paired perfectly with the refreshing sour cream. The cabbage rolls were amazing. It tastes like something you grew up with - just a warm memory. Delicious tomato sauce, lovely cabbage wrap with a nice light filling. The rice and pork were seasoned so perfectly. With the dollop of sour cream on top, it was perfect. I would 100% want to come back again next time we drive through Port Hope. I am just craving the cabbage rolls so much! Highly recommend!!

Hours are limited, but we arrived about 1230 to a dining room with just three other tables filled. It was a good time to come. I was advised that if you go for the fish fry on Fridays that you make a reservation because it gets crowded. The food is perfect and plentiful. There are so many variations on the menu and many of the items on the menu are vegan. That was a surprise since Polish food can be very meat heavy. At a loss what to order, I selected the Polish platter. I wasn't sure what I was looking at upon arrival because it was dressed with the most enormous potato pancake right on top. Delicious! Underneath was a hunters stew which was full of meat, several pierogi, the flavor of the day, being potato and cheddar cheese, a large piece of kielbasa and a huge stuffed cabbage roll. I'd never seen a cabbage roll rolled so perfectly. It was so delicious but I could only eat half the platter. I noticed the other dishes being brought out and everyone leaving with a takeout container because the servings are so huge. One couple ordered one dish and shared it and I realized that it would've been plenty for me and my husband. My husband started with the borscht which he loved. There was no room for dessert, but since it was Tuesday, the ladies in the kitchen made Paczki. We got a few to go along with a few rings of Kielbasa, some horseradish, and a ring of Kishka. There are so many delicious items in the meat case that it's really hard to pick what you want. As a result, I will have to go back. Probably for the fish fry where I can get fried fish with pierogi and any other Polish sides. Our server was wonderful and helped us with the menu and also with our takeout containers. The restaurant market won for best decorated stand, at the festival . The restarant is located upstairs, and the market / deli is downstairs, in a converted old house. Loved the atmosphere, service was wonderful. On a side note, if you pay cash, it's cheaper. My purchases were the polish juice and one of the candy bars.

As a Polish pierogi maker who uses my family recipe, I'm very critical of what makes a good…read morepierogi. However I'd say that It's Pierogi Time does a good job overall. While these don't have all of the characteristics you'd expect from a traditional Polish pierogi, they're still very good considering they're made by Ukrainians who were self-taught from the internet. I ordered 4 fried sweet farmer cheese pierogies ($8.99) and 4 fried spicy Buffalo pork butt pierogies ($8.99). They were small and although golden brown, still very soft for being fried. While Daisy sour cream was included, fried onions were not (although available as an add-on to purchase). The dough flavor and consistency was very good! And I commend their creativity with the fillings, including some traditional and non-traditional fillings. I was surprised that the farmers cheese was sweetened (I didn't see that they were sweet when I ordered them), so it was moreso a dessert pierogi instead of a traditional (savory) farmers cheese pierogi. They were still delicious though! The Spicy Buffalo pork butt was also great, and covered in hot sauce. This is a takeout restaurant, but they have four picnic tables outside (in the sun, without umbrellas). They have two windows for ordering: a self-serve kiosk on the left, and an ordering window with a real person on the right. However the menus are digital so with the bright sun, it was difficult to read. They really could improve the ordering experience by having paper menus available. Overall I'd recommend you stop by and support this new business. Although they're not the homemade Pierogies some Polish Buffalonians may expect, they have enough similarities to still be enjoyed by the harshest pierogi critics like me, as well as any normal person who would find them delicious as-is!

We got the pork butt, farmer's cheese, and the mushroom potato pierogi. They were all fantastic. They came with sour cream and some little packets of jam in case you wanted to add them on top. The dough was light and they all had a very good filling. You can almost tell that they are fresh and homemade and not mass produced. The service was great. The items that they sell and the prepared deli foods they have truly make me feel like I'm a little kid at my grandparents house and it's one of the most delightful feelings I can think of. The store selection is great and I cannot think of anything I went looking for there that I did not find. Overall, this is a really neat place that anyone can enjoy. If you have any sort of ties to Eastern Europe this is a place that you will fall in love with.
