Let's start with the basics. Corey Wallach, MD, is a U.S. board-certified orthopedic surgeon with…read morefellowship training in spine surgery. He completed his medical degree at an accredited U.S. medical school, followed by a full orthopedic surgery residency and an advanced spine surgery fellowship focused on both degenerative and complex spinal conditions. His clinical practice centers on disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, including degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, disc herniation, spinal deformity, and traumatic conditions. Dr. Wallach is trained in both traditional open and minimally invasive spine techniques and performs procedures such as lumbar and cervical fusions, interbody fusion procedures, decompressions, and motion-preserving surgeries when appropriate. He has hospital privileges at major regional medical centers and participates in multidisciplinary spine care teams involving pain management, rehabilitation, and neurology. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Wallach has been involved in academic and professional activities typical of fellowship-trained spine surgeons, including participation in continuing medical education, adherence to evidence-based surgical guidelines, and engagement with national orthopedic and spine societies. His credentials reflect formal surgical training, specialty board certification, and focused expertise in operative and non-operative management of spinal disorders. Here are the FACTS in my case. First, if you can get an appointment you're having a lucky day. Under normal circumstances he is booked beyond measure, but agreed to take on my case (however that happened is something to be grateful for). My back/spine were bad, seriously bad. After 8+ years of pain and agony, it looked like I had caught a break! Scheduling me ahead of others (I don't know how many) and teaming up with another highly respected surgeon, I finally received approval and had my surgery last week. He spent a lot of time before surgery in pre-op, explaining the surgery and the risks. He answered every question patiently. He wasn't rushed, he was purposeful. When my daughter had questions, he called her. He checked up on me while I was in the hospital and when I got home. The bottom line, for me, is that I am now pain-free, doing moderate PT as required, and feeling the best I have ever felt in YEARS. Of course, every situation is different. But when it comes to having "the gift", you want someone with Dr. Wallach's experience and expertise fixing your spine. ....now Medicare, pay the man!!! :)

He has lied to me repeatedly about my medical condition and refuses to answer my medical questions. He has a cavalier and dismissive attitude toward his patients. The past experience was great. However, recently when the pandemic started, their quality of health…read morecare has really gone down. I tried giving this place a couple chances as with the pandemic everyone has been effected so we have to be lenient, but I have officially hit my end point. My results were not delivered to me but another family member which was really irresponsibly as per HIPPA. Due to that wrong information was not passed back to me. I didn't find this out till months later when needing results for work and going on the lab website to retrieve them. Another is that one of my relatives who has trouble with technology had asked me to help them on retrieving their results as well. However, when inputting their name no results were found! It's been over 2 months past the appointment in which they had gone to the lab to get test done!! So then we tried called the office to ask what was going on and they just told us that it was our own responsibility to figure out the test and call it in ourselves?? How great, you write the order but can't help us retrieving it. Well thanks for nothing. I was actually able to retrieve the results after going through papers that were kept after each appointment/ order. Thank goodness these papers were saved! And the reason to why we couldn't find the result? The name was incorrect! How is the name incorrect?? They have done test here prior and received results, but this time and this test just happened to be a different name when there was no chance in the name of the ID given or the insurance card? Anyway, thanks for the past care that we received here. We will not be coming back.

During this 2 weeks I sent doctor Mathur emails to keep her updated so, I could be treated immediately when I returned. So, Dr,. Mathur took off January 29 and is never in the office on Mondays and works only a half a day on Fridays. I limped home and arrived in the United States on January 28, 2026, and On January 29, 2026, Dr. Mathur informed me that she taking the day off on January 30. Yes, she really did. After 2 weeks of emails she tells me the day before I needed to see her, that she was taking the day off. For the second time during my short concierge period, she referred me to another doctor. Unprofessional and lack of concern for my well-being. I canceled my agreement with the office.

Excellent Surgery... Abysmal Follow-up…read more I saw Dr. Agolini for a hernia repair and had a great experience. However, 2 years later I returned with severe pain at the surgery site, worried the repair had failed due to a recent pregnancy. That consult was the worst I've ever had. Dr. Agolini was defensive and dismissed my symptoms as "psychosomatic," explaining the term (which I already knew) in a patronizing, mansplaining way. This kind of dismissal of young women in medicine is far too common, and the experience was genuinely traumatizing. I had to push just to get a CT scan referral. While he is highly skilled technically, and had a great bedside manner during the original procedure, he did not treat my follow-up concerns with respect. His ego seemed bruised at my suggestion that the repair might have failed. (By the way, It turned out the pain was NOT in my head, which, again, I already knew. I later received a diagnosis from a different doctor for a separate condition and was treated for it.)

I knew this was a lie, and said "So if I get the insurance company's approval you'll do them together, right?". At that point (I was in an exam room in a gown) he stepped very close to me and said something along the lines of "Look, we don't get paid if we do them together, you understand?". I told him I did and he left the exam room as the appointment was over. About 30 seconds later he comes back in the exam room WHILE I'M CHANGING AND WITHOUT KNOCKING to try to continue to talk his way out of the lie. He got RIGHT up in my face as I'm standing there in my bra and gave me some song and dance about how I don't really need both procedures at the same time cause I had an endoscopy a few years ago, so there's no hurry, blah blah blah. So this guy lied to my face and then came in the exam room without knocking while I was changing and got inappropriately close to me as he tried to justify his lie.
