The app only allowed me to choose a follow up appointment, this was in response to test results from my primary care provider. If the system wasn't supposed to let me do that, that's an issue on their end, not mine. I drove over 50 minutes to this appointment, only to get a call in the parking lot telling me they didn't know how I was able to schedule and that I shouldn't have made the appointment the way I did. Instead of listening or troubleshooting, the front desk staff kept arguing with me and insisting I booked it wrong even after I explained that their own app allowed it. It was frustrating and honestly felt very dismissive. This was especially disappointing because I was referred here by my primary care provider, so I came in expecting a smooth and professional experience. On top of that, I had been waiting for some time. someone from the office was supposed to call me to schedule in the first place, and no one ever did. When I called myself, I was told I would get a callback...which never happened. At that point, I decided it was better to leave and find another office. The front desk is often a reflection of the professionalism and care within the rest of the practice, and based on this, I didn't feel confident moving forward. A healthcare office should be understanding, solutions oriented and respectful of patients' time, especially when the patient has driven nearly an hour to get there. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I will be finding another provider in the area with better communication and a more patient centered front desk.

He listens to the patient and has a remarkable bedside manner. He is very friendly and cares about his patients deeply. His staff are just as amazing as he is . This is a money making operation (!!) and I would STRONGLY encourage people to look elsewhere for a neurologist. The receptionist is remote, so when you come into the office, you are greeted by a computer monitor and talk to someone on the screen who looks like she is still in her pajamas in her bedroom and isn't quite 18 yet. While you are sitting there (for over an hour) waiting to be seen by the doctor, you have to hear the receptionist on the screen chat with other people that she is connected to (likely friends) about her life and dieting issues (very unprofessional). The lady who deals with medical records speaks very poor English and often makes mistakes. I suspect the billing department is a computer that is programmed to send out bills for anything and everything. I have never been able to connect with an actual person that can explain things. Instead, you are connected to the receptionist who tells you someone will call you back and never does, or she apologies for unexplained charges and says don't worry about it, don't pay. I do like Dr. Mishra but it is NOT worth the hassle. Expect to spend a lot of time dealing with his seemingly untrained staff and be warned that they will send you a bill for everything (anytime you make contact) and apologize later saying it was another mistake.
