He is in all ways a professional, and a forward thinking one at that. Excellent bedside manner, personality, and a depth of knowledge to draw upon which breeds well founded confidence amongst his patients. If you are looking for a personal physician, or help with weight loss, you should contact his office. You'll be glad you did.

Dr. Posner went a step further after becoming an internist. He went through rigorous continuing education to earn his diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine certification, which is only awarded to internal medicine physicians who continue their education and training while in practice. Generally when you're under the care of an internist, you won't need to see any other types of doctors for routine care. Internal medicine physicians, like Dr. Posner, are highly trained at diagnosing even the most complex of health issues. During your visit, he will gather information about your health, and family medical history and discuss any symptoms you're having, or concerned about. It's typical to order some basic lab work, especially if you're just getting set up as a new patient. He might order additional tests if further clarification with any diagnosis is needed. Once he diagnoses medical issues, if any at all, he'll be the one treating you. Or if you have a chronic health condition, like diabetes or high cholesterol, he will teach you how to manage it and prescribe any medications you need. Your primary care physician is an essential partner in your efforts to stay healthy. Even if you never get sick, you still need to see your PCP once a year, just to have screenings done for chronic conditions that may not show any signs.

As I have aged, I have replaced most of my medical professionals over time except Dr. H. He has stood the test of time. Yes he has had administrative issues in the past, but their new merger with another medical group should resolve that matter. Time will tell. Do not believe his poor rating -- it is nonsense. Note the dates on some of the more negative ones. This practice is working to resolve those issues people have been complaining about. Give them a try.

The nurses are VERY nice. I cringe when I call their office as their staff treats you like an idiot and very impatient like it's bothering their day. "I'm sorry for bothering you, even though that's YOUR JOB!" (1 Star off) The saddest part is that they CANNOT get their billing right or the way they charge is not a fair practice. You better hope that they don't ask you to get your blood redrawn for whatever reason. They will charge you for a $85 office visit and the cost of the blood exam to get your blood redrawn even though I did not see any of the Dr. or Nurse. I'm OK with additional blood exam charge, but a $85 office charge is despicable! When I called their billing, the lady said it's for an office staff time to look at the report. So a report from Quest that summarizes the entire report with my healthy range will cost me $85 for someone to read. BS! I had my blood drawn 3 times and each time a $85 charge, very unethical! See picture where I boxed 2 of the 3 extra charges! (2stars off) In addition, I go in for a physical, my copay should be $30, but I get billed later by them for a 90ish bill. They nickel and dime you for every treatment/advice they provide. His advice for telling me to eat healthy foods and exercise cost $215, in addition to an office visit that cost $205. The office billed my insurance for approximately $1000!!!! just for a physical. Even though I have insurance, I still had to pay around $100 after my co pay. Either the billing was wrong or it's their way of gouging patients. If you don't have insurance, you'll be over charged as you can see. I reviewed my previous physcial with other INOVA Doctors and the charge amount was fair. I paid the co-pay and paid for the bloodwork. I will NOT go there again. Dr H is great, definitely not a knock on him but his supporting cast ruins the experience. When I called INOVA, their receptionist are nice and will work with you to schedule an appointment. As important, they don't charge additional fees.

Sarah is their physician's assistant; she will most likely be the one seeing you if you call for a sick appt. All are very popular, schedule appointments well in advance if you need to. The one area keeping them from getting a 5 is the scheduling. The receptionist is not all that friendly and the wait (both to get an appt and once you are there) is a bit too long. But the care you get is worth putting up with that. Updated May 2009 - They have replaced that receptionist with one far more friendly and I noticed the waiting room is running far more efficiently on my last visit. I'd give them a 4 1/2 now. My only complaint - they are a little too stingy with the antibiotics.

I have been seeing Dr. Enelow for almost 20 years, before he went into partnership with Dr…read more Henochowicz. Unlike many of the specialists I see, I have never been angry with Dr. Enelow. If he (or Dr. H.) doesn't prescribe antibiotics, there is always a detailed explanation. So far, they have not been wrong in that department. Too many doctors prescribe antibiotics too easily. Dr. Enelow takes good care of my husband's diabetes and my autoimmune buffet of ailments. He is easy to talk to. He also keeps up with all the latest developments. All my adult children have chosen Dr. Enelow as their family doctor, so that has to tell you how we feel about him. If he's not Marcus Welby (no house calls), he is the closest thing you can find today. Dr. Enelow, who used to teach at Georgetown University Hospital, keeps a close relationship with that medical school. It is common to find medical students in the office, and one of them may take your history and give a prelimminary exam. I enjoy the interaction with these young not-quite doctors. Drs. Enelow and Henochowicz always redo whatever the students have done, so no harm is done. I have never seen Sarah, but Dr. H. treated me for a rare allergy and changed my life. The allergy no longer keeps me from doing the things normal people do. I only wish I had gone to him earlier. Only four stars because the office is not run as efficiently as it might be. The constant change of staff and nursing assistants is disconcerting, but probably not the doctors' fault. That's just the way it is today: people move around in jobs. Also, they do not accept Medicare payment--I have to pay and be reimbursed. I understand why, but it's annoying. All in all, you can't find a better doctor in this area. I saw five before settling on Dr. Enelow.

Well needless to say, we will be on the hunt for a better spot- FOR SURE. Here's what our feedback was to the establishment since they asked, and I decided to share here in case it's helpful to anyone thinking about going here: "The overall experience was disappointing and did not meet the standards expected of a professional wellness or spa environment. The walk between buildings felt awkward and disjointed, and the areas where services were provided were visibly unclean. This immediately detracted from the sense of calm and comfort that clients typically seek when booking spa services. The sauna instructions were overly complicated and nonintuitive. Rather than supporting a seamless, stress-free experience, the setup required unnecessary effort and attention at a time when guests should be able to arrive, decompress, and enjoy the service. One of the facials was particularly concerning. The provider fell out of her chair during the session, left the room for approximately 15 minutes within the allotted service time, and complained openly about missing supplies that had not been ordered. Her presentation and behavior appeared impaired or otherwise not fully attentive, which was alarming in a setting where professionalism, focus, and client safety are expected. There were also sanitation concerns. Gloves were not worn during the sessions- in particular extractions & close facial work, which raised hygiene and safety questions. Given the nature of skincare treatments and direct contact with facial areas, adherence to clear sanitation protocols is critical. Both facials were performed below expected standards. Product application felt careless rather than intentional for both clients. Creams were applied in a manner that resulted in product entering the nostril area for both clients. In one instance, the technician had to awkwardly clean the inside of a nostril during the service, which was unexpected and uncomfortable (and something never experienced prior). In the other facial, cream entered the nostril and remained there throughout the session, creating concern about inhalation; the client ultimately had to clean it out herself after the session. This experience was distracting and far from relaxing. Additionally, massage and sculpting techniques reflected a noticeable lack of refinement and training, particularly for clients accustomed to higher-quality services. Overall, the experience lacked attentiveness, professionalism, cleanliness, and the level of care expected in a premium setting."
