My insurance does not call for deductible but when asked the office staff all said that both fees have to be paid and had the most rude attitude. Only after the insurance company confirmed that only copay was required they still didn't want to refund the deductible. Having to deal with incompetent, rude and mean staff in addition to the stress of it while you're on a visit to the doctor to get better is not the experience anyone should have. Steer clear of this practice.

He looked at all my blood work and test results, diagnosed and treated the complaint I went in for, and then immediately (gently) called out the other issue that I had been avoiding all that time. Got that condition under control with a good treatment plan. I feel much better now, and am really grateful that he was watching out for my health and well-being in a holistic way.

My mom's friend switched from another doctor to Doctor Ngoc-Ha. She is really satisfied because she has had good service.

He was able to do what none of her four children could -- convince her of the seriousness and urgency of her condition that she had been basically ignoring for years while death knocked at her door. Dr. Bonomo connected us to other Inova physicians and surgeons, yet continued to follow up with her progress even after others had taken over the case. She is the self-appointed president of his fan club. I am pleased to report it has gotten easier to get follow up appointments. (I love the MyChart patient portal system but that's not the way to go for scheduling; you are better off calling the office directly.) The Fairfax building is gorgeous and a delight to visit. I also recommend the Ballston office. You can literally park on the curb outside the door and be in the office 30 seconds later. Ballston doesn't have the advantage of having a whole complex (lab, cafeteria, adorable gift shop, access to other docs) right there, but for a basic visit it's so convenient.

My friend bought a Groupon for a therapeutic massage but it was not soothing or therapeutic at all. Highlights: -Old lady masseuse farted next to her face -Room was not dimmed and cold -Sheet was paper thin and awkward (especially with the cold room) -No massage oil or strokes, just pressure points, even after repeated requests -Left the room mid-session, leaving the door wide open for the lobby to have a view of the paper thin sheet -Requested to end the massage early because it was so bad, and the masseuse just walked out, once again with the door wide open... Leaving a naked person on the table to get up and close the door, giving the lobby a full frontal show In sum- terrible. Don't waste your money.

Three strikes and we moved on to One Medical--Dr. Christine Longo. The One Medical system is fabulous and Christine (as she goes by ) are wonderful and we feel heard and competently treated.
