Having to deal with incompetent, rude and mean staff in addition to the stress of it while you're on a visit to the doctor to get better is not the experience anyone should have. When there are mysterious symptoms, I like that they are willing to help me explore ways I can investigate them to find a proper diagnosis. Over the years, I have seen the clinic evolve to be a true and organized primary care center. Dr. Connie Le also teaches medical students and fine tunes their ability to properly diagnose conditions. I have seen her do this, and she proves it again and again that she is a master of medical knowledge. Something that seems minor, such as a wasp bite, was properly diagnosed as cellulitis and treated with the correct prescriptions. In addition, they are great at monitoring severe conditions and reminding me about routine lab tests and follow-up diagnostic exams. I had needed lots of medical appointments involving surgery and more. It is a great relationship where I can trust them with recommending the correct follow-up procedure and intervals. It is fairly easy to get an appointment within a week. Appointments with Dr. Connie Le may take a bit longer to get since she is in high demand. However, they also try to fit in urgent appointments. I have had no billing issues. Yay! The staff is professional and helpful. I also work in healthcare and silently observed the way they operate. They are very organized, which is the top criteria I look for when choosing a primary care clinic.

My friend was lucky for not paying doctor visit because Doctor Ngoc-Ha's staff did double check with my friend's insurance company and found out the insurance was cancelled. My mom's friend switched from another doctor to Doctor Ngoc-Ha. She is really satisfied because she has had good service.

If they had been honest and transparent about the massive cost difference, I would have waited a day or two to see my regular doctor. Instead, they took advantage of my vulnerability and pain to quietly route me into an overpriced visit without my informed consent. When I reached out to billing and customer support to explain the lack of disclosure, they refused to help or take accountability. It is heartbreaking and deeply infuriating to realize that a healthcare provider you trusted for years views its patients as an ATM rather than people needing care. Beware of their deceptive scheduling tactics. They do not care about your well-being--only what they can extract from your wallet when you are at your most vulnerable. He was able to do what none of her four children could -- convince her of the seriousness and urgency of her condition that she had been basically ignoring for years while death knocked at her door. Dr. Bonomo connected us to other Inova physicians and surgeons, yet continued to follow up with her progress even after others had taken over the case. She is the self-appointed president of his fan club. I am pleased to report it has gotten easier to get follow up appointments. (I love the MyChart patient portal system but that's not the way to go for scheduling; you are better off calling the office directly.) The Fairfax building is gorgeous and a delight to visit. I also recommend the Ballston office. You can literally park on the curb outside the door and be in the office 30 seconds later. Ballston doesn't have the advantage of having a whole complex (lab, cafeteria, adorable gift shop, access to other docs) right there, but for a basic visit it's so convenient.

My friend bought a Groupon for a therapeutic massage but it was not soothing or therapeutic at all. Highlights: -Old lady masseuse farted next to her face -Room was not dimmed and cold -Sheet was paper thin and awkward (especially with the cold room) -No massage oil or strokes, just pressure points, even after repeated requests -Left the room mid-session, leaving the door wide open for the lobby to have a view of the paper thin sheet -Requested to end the massage early because it was so bad, and the masseuse just walked out, once again with the door wide open... Leaving a naked person on the table to get up and close the door, giving the lobby a full frontal show In sum- terrible. Don't waste your money.

Please note that I stated my reasons when making an appointment by PHONE. As soon as I arrived for my appointment, I was told I'd have to schedule a SEPARATE appointment for a surgical consult. Dr.Ryan explained that I'd have to get bloodwork before prescribing HRT. I received notification that my labwork results were in 1 day later. A few days later, I received a notice in the patient portal that my lab results were in and that the results were normal and that I'd see them at my next visit. NO mention of the fact that I needed a prescription for my HRT. I then sent several messages to Dr. Ryan that same week via the patient portal. NO response and she never called in my prescription. And then the office closed the next week, the week of Labor Day. After constantly calling that week, I was finally able to get a prescription filled by a random person- no idea who filled it. Dr. Ryan NEVER responded to my messages in the portal. There is NO direct phone number to this practice. It is entirely managed by a very poorly managed call center. Hint, don't choose the selection to hold your place in line with a call back. It doesn't WORK. They don't call you back. I will never return to this practice and would not recommend this practice to anyone, especially if you need a direct line to your doctor or even a nurse. They just don't help you, and all this office wants is your money (which they already made from the insurance company). Never meet Dr. Kim, but i'm sure he owns this place. The other female doctor, I have no issues with. She was very nice. What is point of having a great doctor when his office unwilling to help and rude to his customers?
