I have never been treated so poorly by a service provider. I stopped going because I was uncomfortable and anxious each appointment. I find her prices to be higher than other studios, which I am ok with if the service is great, but unfortunately I was made to feel like she was doing me a favor and I was waisting her time. This was my first waxing, so I have nothing to compare it to, but the experience was a good one. I'd broken my arm and knew shaving for my upcoming beach vacation would be a challenge. The Wax artist was very rude when we walked in. We simply stated that we tried to call and couldn't get ahold of anybody and she treated me and my husband as we had no place in questioning, even though we came all the way just to ask if she had any appointments available or if she accepted walk-ins. If you can't answer the phone, hire an assistant to do that for you. Not going back there, I'd rather pay 3x more, but be treated with respect. read more

I wish I had the same wonderful experiences that others have had with Tina. For months I've been doing research about microblading. After speaking with a colleague about my thinning eyebrows she suggested I go to her girl who's been tinting her eyebrows for years before committing to microblading. She gave me her number so that I could text her and after normal back and fourth text messages I made an appointment for today at 10:30 a.m. I got there 15 minutes early since I'd never been there before. I sat down and someone came out and said it'll be one moment and I said no problem. I started texting my colleague all excited but nervous that I was about to meet Tina and commented on how beautiful the place was. A few minutes later I was called back. She told me where to lay my head on the bed. I immediately started to feel uncomfortable (positive and/or negative energy speaks volumes). She asked me if I'd ever had my eyebrows waxed and I said yes. She asked me if I'd ever had them tinted and I said no and that I was very nervous. She started wiping my eyebrows with something and I asked her to explain what she was doing as she was going along because again I had never had it done before. So she did, short and sweet. She felt the need to tell me or correct me about another service that I had texted her about but after realizing "she was right and I was wrong" I decided to say no more. It was quiet and very uncomfortable. She showed me my eyebrows and I didn't really like roundness of my eyebrows, inner or outer, but she explained it was just dye and wouldn't be that way in a day or two. I said thanks and gave her $20. She told me it was $30 and I said you texted me that it was $15. She said tinting is $15 and the waxing was $15. Thankfully I had $10 more in cash because for someone who has never been there before I should've been made aware. Before walking out I had to tell her that I was very uncomfortable with the entire experience. I told her that I expected more walking into such a beautiful place such as "Hi, I'm Tina or are you __? Nice to meet you" SOMETHING especially if the customer was referred to you. I told her she was very cold and unwelcoming and she replied I should've said something earlier. Needless to say I shouldn't have to tell you how to greet your customers and make them feel comfortable whether it's the first time or not. Besides the fact that my eyebrows looked okay I won't be back to see Tina. Worst experience ever. read more
