I met with Jinna, who I believe is the owner, and while our conversation was limited, she was pleasant and easy-going. The treatment was quick, my back really isn't bad compared to most, and sugaring seemed to be a faster process than waxing. There's a little less pain involved, but I've also never really had an issue with waxing. Instead of the larger areas being removed at a time, her treatment focused a one to two inch area. The warm sugar formula is spread on and instantly removed, no paper applied to remove etc. I'll definitely go back and do recommend this small business.

TLDR; my skin felt ripped off and was chemically burned, facility is not clean/up to a standard. Carolina herself is a very nice and sweet intentioned lady. She says she had been sugaring for quite some time even before the pandemic. The facility did not look or feel clean, it was super cluttered with stuff everywhere. The sugaring room looked like a storage room and there was an old wax kit just sitting there super messy. Luckily the service bed/table was clean and lined with paper. The sugar she used was made by her but I don't know if it was hot enough or made right because that was the most painful service I have ever had. Even her techniques felt off. Mind you I've been sugaring consistently for over 2 years so I'm used to the pain, but this was something else. There were some areas she just kept ripping over and over and I'm pretty sure it took out my skin. To make the pain worse, she decided to put some random paste on my lady parts after the service without my permission because she noticed I had some ingrowns/discoloration. She just slapped it on and said leave this on. I thought it was a post-service moisturizer. Soon after I start to feel a burning sensation and I immediately went to her and asked her what was going on and what she put on me. She advised me it's "working" and to leave it on, I said no, I shouldn't be burning, it hurts. And I wiped it off as much as I could. I left in pain coz it hurt so bad. I immediately went home and tried to wash it all off. I was super tender. The following 2 days after, I was still tender and I had SCARS and scabs. My skin was definitely burned/ripped off. I was getting lash removal & a new set of classic/hybrid lashes. I've been getting eyelash extensions for 13 years and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. They were thin, whispy, pre-made fans that were poorly glued onto only some of my lashes. They started falling off almost immediately, and there were visible white clumps of glue that a friend pointed out because she thought I had crumbs on my eyes. One week later when I went to another eyelash studio, they couldn't even tell I had any extensions on until they put me under the lights. I would've been better off just curling my own lashes & using mascara because mine are thicker & longer than whatever they used. I've never had such poor quality.
