I've been a regular at this establishment since 2021, primarily for underarm and Brazilian waxing. The place is always clean and well-maintained. The service is fast and thorough, and Maria is both nice and professional. The cost is very fair given the high quality of service you receive. If you're considering a visit, I highly recommend it--you will leave satisfied! read more

Update: Maria is still amazing! When I first started four years ago, my first session was like 20-25 minutes. Shortly, after that, it went down to 10 minutes tops. I'm always in and out! I love it here. read more

Great service, attentiveness, and care! She is reassuring during the service to make sure you are comfortable. I also have brought my friends to her and they, too, think she is great! read more

I have been getting my Brazilian with Maria since 2015, would not go to anyone else! Service is quick, clean ,and efficient! I recommend getting your hair as long as possible and not trimming in between 4 to 6 week sessions and you will have excellent results and the pain is literally minimal if you follow those guidelines. Very professional and I also recommend getting the other services available too like facials and organic airbrush tanning!! read more

Maria is the best! I've been going to organic sugaring studio for more than a year now. I never have a problem with booking an appointment and she's always welcoming and pleasant. The studio is always clean and hygienic and I appreciate that Maria makes a point to know who you are. While waxing can be painful, she makes a point to make sure the experience is a less than a painful one and has definitely talked me through it which I appreciate so much! She's definitely my go to person and I always highly recommend her to my friends when asked about my waxing experience! Thank you Maria! read more

I went in for my first Brazilian wax and Maria was excellent and super sweet and honestly the pain was not bad at all. If you are considering getting one definitely do it. read more

Maria is the BEST!! She has decades of experience and will help you get the results you'd like! Near pain free. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Very professional, relaxing, clean, friendly environment. She helps me look and feel great. :-) read more

I love this place!! Maria is always so kind and professional! Her sugaring technique is definitely the best I have come across in my years of sugaring. I love the deal she has for clients that come in every 4 to 6 weeks, with no shaving or trimming or using nair in between sessions with her , then you can get the $60 Brazilian promo! Which is great for me! Definitely recommend Maria, to people new to getting sugaring/brazilian. Honestly my whole family is beginning to come to her oh P.S... I also loved my dermaplaning facial! I will definitely be getting that again!!! read more

A lady was extremely rude to a client and upcharged her $40 for having more hair than normal. Wtf does that?! Apparently they do it here! There is NO EXCUSE for making a client feel bad and embarrassed about herself as well as making it worse by charging all that extra money. I've never heard of extra charge anywhere for some extra hair. Un-fking-believeable!!! Will not be going here AND I have already let social media know about this unpleasant and behavior from this business. Take your money elsewhere! read more

I've been going to Monica for facials and always come out feeling brand new and so relaxed. The microdermabrasion and customized botanical products took me on an aromatherapy experience while she decongested my skin. I can't wait to get my next facial! read more

The service I received from Organic Sugaring Studio was top notch. The front desk attendant was very friendly during my wait. She mentioned they are in the process of creating a new website. The sugaring process was quick and wasn't that painful. The sugaring esthetician was friendly and paid attention to details. Sugaring only uses natural food-grade ingredients like sugar, lemon juice, and honey, not all the crazy chemicals in wax. I prefer sugaring to waxing. Sugaring will only take away dead skin cells and pulls hair at the roots, unlike waxing which also removes live skin cells! Organic Sugaring Studio accepts credit card payments and their prices are very competitive! I highly recommend you try this establishment out if you are looking for a waxing alternative. read more

I have been a client of Maria's for over a year. I met her at her former studio (Sunrise) and continue to go to her at Organic Sugaring Studio. The atmosphere is clean, nicely decorated , and Maria is so professional. I travel a lot and she works with my schedule. I only trust Maria to keep my body hair free and smooth. Highly recommend Maria at the Organic Sugaring Studio! read more

I've been struggling for some time on exactly what to say in this review. Let me start off by saying I purchased a package of three Brazilian waxes off of Groupon. My first visit left me wondering if I should go back. But, as stated before, I had two additional packages remaining. And you better believe I'm not letting my moolah go to waste! So anyway...first visit...I completely agree with one of the previous reviewers who said Maria's personality is "neutral" (and that's being generous). A combination of nerves and hot sugar/wax being poured on my woohaa caused me to sweat a little bit during my session. No big deal for any of the technicians I've been to at other studios, but Maria kept berating me about it. Asking "Why are you sweating?" "You're still sweating?" At one point I told her "Uh. Yeah. The wax is hot and it's painful." Needless to say she did not make me feel welcome during the visit. On the second visit she chastised me because she thought I shaved between my visits. I did not. But she even told me that the next time I do that, she would charge me extra. Mmmmmmmmkay. #byemaria As you can imagine, there was no third visit. I don't know if she's just overly rude to people who have purchased Groupons, or if that's just her personality. Either way, I'll never return. read more

First sugar wax was a success! I am enthusiast of hard wax for women of color. I swear by it. However, When the craze of sugar wax came along I heard great reviews by women of color and I been wanting to try it (for over 3 years lol). In the DMV you can find estheticians who specialize in sugar wax very easily, thus there are a lot of choices. I'm glad I choose this spot, the staff were welcoming, the salon was modern and clean, and the waxing took less than 20 mins. I wouldn't call the process painless, but after the initial shock it wasn't bad. It's not like hard wax where you can prep yourself for the removal, it's constant applying pulling. Once you get used to the rhythm it's not bad. I recommend this place and if you're a new client check out their Groupon deal. read more

Organic sugar is the best for sensitive skin like mine! It's so much easier and no issues afterward. This is my new go to.

I was really excited to try this place out. I read all the reviews and was looking forward to experiencing sugaring for the first time. The place was clean. I am giving it two stars because I did not think that the owner was as friendly as she was described in other reviews. She was neutral, which isn't a bad thing, but she did not make me feel comfortable for me to even consider coming back. The actual service was not great. I left with random patches of hair on my skin, which I will have to go over it again at home. The room was dark and I kept pointing out areas which she missed. After the 6th time I got uncomfortable and stopped saying anything. She was definitely not thorough, which is something I expect from any waxing/sugaring service. read more

I have been a client with with Maria for yeaaars. Even before she has her own studio. I left the studio I was going to because I believed in her and wanted to support her new small business. Since she has had her own studio her bedside manner has deteriorated. The last time I went which was this past February I actually left in tears. Not because of the pain but because Maria was so unkind. I was on the table wincing and uncomfortable and she states "you think this is bad for you, this is hard for me I'm sweating" I could not believe the woman I have been seeing for years could be so insensitive. An now today I attempted to make and appointment and was immediately told I would be charged extra since I haven't been since February I quickly informed her I have only been getting Brazilian waxes in between and not shaving. The response I got was not warm or welcoming. I would rather drive else where and no longer support her small business. Then continue to feel so uncomfortable. read more

I had originally trusted the positive reviews to this place so I decided the give it a try. I had texted to make my appointments and stated I was a first time client. Maria mentioned that she had got me confused with another Lezlie so that is why she wasn't going to offer her $5 discount. Moving forward to the day of my appointment, I was not welcomed by the receptionist. Maria came out to tell my that the room was ready while she was attending another client. I walked back unknowingly to find the room and had to look for the room myself. I undress and Maria comes in and says she didn't know it was my first time and that she apologizes that she didn't show me the room. During sugaring she kept saying "you're sweating a lot " and she mentioned it many times. I think it's normal to sweat as a human being but she made it seem like it wasn't normal. I felt like the whole experience was unwelcoming and her attitude is definitely not welcoming nor nice. I would find another place. read more

First time sugaring with Maria and she was super sweet and the facility was clean. Definitely will return.

I love this place! At first I was skeptical about waxing because I've always shaved, but after getting sugared, I will never shave again!!! Maria, is an amazing waxer. Her attention to detail is impeccable and it's pretty much painless. I'm so happy I found this place!! Looking forward to my next appointment! read more

AMAZING!!! PROFESSIONAL!!! SUPER SANITARY!!! This was my first sugaring experience. I'm hooked already after this one time. Idk if I'll ever go back to regular waxing. After not having a wax in months I was nervous. Strangely the pain was nothing close to what it feels like with traditional wax. There was barely any pain as a matter of fact. Maria was extremely gentle and had a warm soul in my opinion. Other reviews did not do her justice. I felt comfortable with her. She was a very lovely woman. The experience wasn't weird at all. She's amazing. I definitely plan to go back. I look forward to the experience again. read more

I love Maria. I've been going to her for more than a year now and I would never go to anyone else. Her space is always clean, she has great conversation, and she always make sure that I am comfortable. I've referred some friends and family and they go to her as well. She's the best! read more

First time experience and it went really well. Maria is super sweet. Already booked my next appointment with her.

Maria is so sweet and I'm glad I found her. She was flexible with me on my appointment time and was gentle. I found her via Groupon and would like to keep her after my deal has ended. Kingstowne is a bit far from me but for the quality I don't mind the drive from Chantilly, knowing that I'll be well taken care of - plus I can hang with my friends that live in the area afterwards. I'm recommending her to everybody! read more

The studio is in an office park down the street from the Franconia DMV. Maria is AWESOME she made me feel so comfortable. Had my first Brazilian sugar wax today it took about 25 minutes. It was good. However, there is pain involved. A few tips empty your bladder first before the service. DO NOT shave before the appointment it will HURT(Tears). First Maria inspects the area and she sprinkles baby powder on all of the areas to ensure she gets all of the hair. She waxed EVERYTHING front and back. I'm making the switch from shaving to waxing my private area going forward. See you in 6 weeks Maria :) read more

This was my first time getting a wax and I found a good deal on groupon for this place. I went ahead and went for a Brazilian wax and even though it did hurt a little, Maria made my experience great and I will definitely go back to her. The fact of being semi nude is a little embarrassing but Maria made me feel very comfortable and distracted me through the procedure. I definitely recommend this place! read more

I love Maria!!!! She has been my go to for 5 years and I would follow her anywhere. Super respectful, clean, and fast. I saw a comment on her about ones Groupons experience... sound like wax might not for the person and don't let it discourage you from trying her out. The majority rules and trust she is worth it. No hyper pigmentation!. read more

I found this place on Groupon with a great deal! Maria was able to accommodate me on the same day I called for an appointment. Her studio was spacious and clean. She was very delightful. She took her time and I was happy with my Brazilian sugar wax. I would definitely recommend her and will be back again! read more

Maria was very nice, however her work was awful! There were some hairs that she explained were too short so wouldn't come out, which I understood and take responsibility for. BUT, for the hair that was long enough she completely left one side of my inner groin undone while the other side was perfectly done. The whole job just looks like she didn't care and just wanted to be done. Such a waste of money, the amount of pain I endured was not worth the outcome. I could have dove a better job myself. read more

I will never use wax again after experiencing Maria's organic sugaring! First of all, Maria is informative, professional and such a beautiful person to know. During my first visit for a Brazilian, I had so many questions and was apprehensive on the effectiveness of removing hair. She educated me on the differences between waxing options and eased my mind about the results. Sugaring removes hair and not skin! Secondly, you smell divine after your session and your skin feels amazingly soft like a baby. Thirdly, the environment is relaxing and clean. And lastly, it takes about two weeks before my hair starts to grow back and I can see the difference in the appearance of my skin. No in-grown hairs, bumps or discoloration. My 9 year old and I starting getting our underarms sugared together as shaving made my underarms discolored, sore and created a daily routine for me that I didn't want to have to add to my regimen. I would highly recommend giving this a try if already use traditional wax and for those who are virgins, do yourself a favor and start out on the right foot. read more

Maria is the best! She always does a great job and I can't imagine going anywhere else. :)

Guys, guess who I've found?!!! Maria!!! She is the best and there is no doubt about it! I met her about year ago at Sunrise, now she's opening her own business. After her, because of groupons, I went to couple different places. However, over all she is the kindest and she makes whole process fast, super painless and very CLEAN! I highly recommend her! read more

I've been coming to Maria for about 6 months consistently now, she is truly the best at what she does. When I first moved to this area, I jumped around trying a bunch of places, but nobody does a better job than Maria. It's hands down the best place to get sugaring in the area. She makes getting a Brazilian not as terrifying as it usually is. I've also gotten other areas of my body waxed and she has done an excellent job. She is thorough, takes her time and takes pride in her work. read more

They always provide great service!! Maria is great! I love going to them, I feel confident with my skin after the facial I got. She gave me great tips and she recommended great products for my skin. I definitely recommend them in all services. read more

I have been going to Maria for about a year and a half and she is probably the best person for the job!! I use to do regular waxing and nothing compares to her. I will say that the first couple times did hurt and I did do regular waxing and came back to sugaring and was also in a lil pain. So just stick to Maria!! She's super amazing and very clean. I have brought many of my friends here and they all love her. read more

Only place I go! Maria is great at what she does but she is also a no nonsense lady. I have been going here for a little over a year but I've been irregular with my appointments and Maria will call me out for taking too long to get back there. Don't feel bad if she points out that she thinks you shaved or that you wait too long between visits and come in with a wooly mammoth. It's her job and those things make it more difficult! Just change the subject and remember you're about to leave there feeling like a million bucks! Honestly, the work is what speaks the loudest. She is quick and efficient so unless you require breaks you never spend more than 20 minutes on the table. I recommend everyone who is looking for a place to go to Maria. The atmosphere is clean and professional. Monica at the front desk is very nice and handles scheduling. You can text to check availability and make an appointment which is nice. read more
