After moving to a new area 2 years ago, I've been on the hunt for a place to get regular facials (one of my favorite #selfcare things to do) and then the pandemic and pregnancy happened... and my skin was neglected during the postpartum period. I had my first ever facial/microdermabrasion with Michelle at Complexions Skincare Studio. I'm AA.with oily, acne prone skin. She made me feel so comfortable. Her place is clean and soothing. A friend of mine recommended to Michelle since Michelle has helped her skin tremendously. I was curious so I decided to go on August of 2020. Mind you I came in with cyst, painful pimples, hyperpigmentation, oily and acne prone skin, basically the worst of the worst. When I first came in I was taken back how enthusiastic and kind Michelle is. The room in of itself is peaceful and comfortable. I came in scared because its the first time I am allowing anyone to see my face up close and getting a chemical peel. She was sweet and non biased about it. Michelle wanted to help me and get my skin to perfection! I would come in every month to get the Mandelic peel as well as facial and extractions. If it wasn't for her I think my skin would probably be worse than when I first came in! Fast forward to Jan of 2021 and my skin is great!
