Cheddars quality is still awesome..and the prices are even better. Ethan was our waiter and he provided excellent service. Our food was cooked to our liking and came out fast. The butter croissants are still a staple to this restaurant. The ambiance is quiet and a perfect spot for a family meal!

The service was okay but the food was really good the wait wasn't long it was pretty fast I absolutely love the starters the mozzarella bites are so good but the monte cristo is so good I enjoyed the sauce that came with it overall a good experience every time I come

Another delicious place in Texas to go eat! The waiter was so attentive With the service being 5 star for sure! They start you of by bringing Honey Buttered croissant to the table! These croissants are amazing...they are so soft and fluffy they practically melt in your mouth! The portions they serve are definitely enough to have left overs and take home for next day or your next meal! Definitely a restaurant worth visiting! And the prices are not bad! I especially like the big fish tank in the front of the tables, gave it a nice ambiance.

This review is solely for the five service I receive from April. She works the bar & to-go orders. She has been working here for many years and provides nothing less than five star service. She is good at her job & customers love her. Honestly my orders get messed up when she is not working, but she always double checks to make sure her customers are well taken care of.

Cheddars there are a lot of options you can choose from. We were seated fairly quickly. For appetizers, we tried the trio sampler which was pretty solid, and the honey butter croissants which were flaky and crispy. For my entree, I got the country-fried steak with broccoli cheese casserole and mashed potatoes. Portion sizes were huge, especially for the price. I got the same thing a second time around to go and then it seemed the quality went down a little bit the food was more on the saltier side and the crisp from the batter of the fried steak wasn't there, so a little bit inconsistent. In addition, I tried their smokehouse burger and that was quite good as well. Nontheless, good solid option for a bang for your buck.

Atmosphere was nice, the ceiling fans were a neat touch. Place is very cold so if you easily get cold, bring a sweater. First off, your server orders your drinks and brings out a crescent drizzled in condensed milk? Whatever it was, it was light and flakey and delicious! They will tell you first one is free, any thereafter are a dollar and some change (didn't hear the exact amount). My niece and I ordered the chicken tenders to share, what a great portion for sharing. We ate every last bite and we're both full. The chicken tenders are very crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The mashed potato with cream gravy and broccoli cheese casserole were perfect accompaniments. My bf had the chicken fried steak with green beans and I didn't hear a word out of his mouth because he was enjoying his food too much! Great service, clean place. Plenty of parking out front. They have a little tablet like device on the table for kids to play video games or watch videos. That same device shows you what they have on their dessert menu as well. I haven't been here in awhile but would definitely return!

Food was not bad, I'll start with that. I was expecting the honey butter croissants to come out warm when they brought them but they weren't, they were a little hard. This was only the second time I have ever been here and the one thing I remembered about this place was that the croissants were delish. I ordered a bowl of potato soup, it was good, nothing spectacular. I was hesitant to order more croissants but I did. Those were better, tasted fresh. We also got the cheese curds and my boyfriend ordered the Monte cristo. Cheese curds were good, he enjoyed his sandwich but said they could've put more meat in there. Service was ok, our server had no personality and when she brought me a refill on my water she didn't bring my lemon like I had asked. The biggest concern I had was when using the bathroom I noticed the drain was so dirty, it looked like it had years of buildup on it, made me wonder if they let the kitchen appliances that they use to cook the food with get buildup like that as well. Needless to say the prices are very reasonable and I'm sure that's why they are so busy but we won't be going back.

I've been wanting to try Main St. Bistro, so when my sister suggested it for Easter, I was down. We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). We got there around 1:00 on Easter Sunday & didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. A man took our drink order. My brother-in-law asked to go ahead & order two appetizers. Our waitress, Natalie, came shortly after, introduced herself & confirmed the appetizers. We were brought 4 small cubes of banana bread, which felt weird since there were 7 of us. My toddler & my niece both had a whole one. The other two were split between 4 adults. My brother-in-law didn't have any. The appetizers came out fairly quickly & were gone just as fast. We finally ordered right at 2:00 after a little wait & indecisiveness. Then my son was done sitting in a highchair. My husband and brother-in-law took the kids outside. They played for a bit & walked two laps around the whole strip center. They came back, still no food. My son had a complete meltdown since he was both hungry & now tired, my brother-in-law asked if there was any way they could just rush my son's food. They did and he started eating, everyone was so hungry that they had some bites of his food as well. My mom went to ask the manager if our food was close to being ready. The answer was no, there was a whole list of orders ahead of ours. The manager was kind enough to bring us some spinach dip & apologized for the wait, explaining she was dreading today because the kitchen wasn't equipped for the Easter crowd. She assured us that they were working as fast as possible & we appreciated her honesty & effort. My mom went to her car & asked us to let her know when her food came. Our food finally started arriving at 3:17, and not all at once. My sister's meal came last. By this time my son was done & was getting restless while we had JUST started eating. The food itself was disappointing. My sister and I both ordered Benedicts. Mine (Boudin Benny) wasn't hot and was mushy instead of seared. Both of our poached eggs were undercooked. My sister's also had a large amount of cream cheese that wasn't listed and didn't taste good. Other issues: my mom's fries were cold, my brother-in-law said his chicken fried steak was no good. He ate it because he was hungry, and while my husband liked his sandwich & was happy with it, his fries were cold. My niece enjoyed her burger. My son's shrimp, fries, & macaroni were all hot and good... likely because they were rushed for him. It was 3:45 by the time we left. They close at 3. We received a 40% discount, but there was also a 20% automatic gratuity added, which some in our party didn't expect. Here's where they earn stars back... Natalie was great! She took great care of us & kept apologizing for the delay. We could tell that she felt bad, but it was not her fault. The manager also came by checking on us multiple times & got us settled as best she could. She brought us spinach dip while we waited & she made sure that my toddler got food very quickly after being asked about it. She did thank us multiple times for our kindness & patience. As did Natalie. I too, was appreciative of the kindness they showed us. Most of us have all worked in food service before & we understand that the wait staff can only do so much. We also understand being slammed in the kitchen & how fast paced they have to work in order to handle rushes. I appreciate the 40% discount... 20% after the tip. This review was based on one trip & I will update my review if/when I return. But this visit was definitely not a great experience & if it weren't for the kindness, I'd be leaving one star.

They don't even cut a slit in the shell to ease the process. If everyone else's food at our table wasn't so bad, I would've sent it back. The other folks at our table ordered the elote ravioli, chicken salad, goddess pasta, and other dishes. The chicken was tough dry and flavorless, the elote ravioli tasted like someone dumped a canister of cayenne into it, and the pasta had so much pepper in it the lady was coughing throughout the entire dinner. It sucks because I feel like this place has potential but they need someone who knows how to season and prepare food properly. It seems like the food is fresh and not processed, it's just bad execution with unbalanced flavors.

I got the Chicken and Gravy while my friend got the Chicken and Waffles and we both finished our plates cleanly. The service was slow, yes, but they were extremely nice and did have multiple prefaces regarding the wait time. The only I had food wise was that the candied sweet potatoes were a little too sweet for me (and trust me, I love myself some candied sweet potatoes) and I feel like the okra or another one of the sides would've been a better fit for me. The chicken I had was extremely tender and juicy, and the gravy had the perfect amount of sweet and salty where I just gobbled it down with everything. The vibe is nice and homey and overall this place was just great. It for sure isn't someplace you can rush through in 30 minutes, but that kinda adds to the experience that you get the minute you walk in.
