Whether you are waiting for a seat, menu or food, they give you the service you deserve as a patron with a smile on their face. It was very reasonably priced $7.79 I believe. Dinner, milkshake and tip - a little over $13. I didn't order a soda, because it was the only thing on the menu that wasn't priced - never a good sign;-) The meal was pretty good! My sides, the corn and baked potato were both surprisingly good, and I am glad I got the gravy on the side, as I do not lake my fried food soggy. The gravy had a decent flavor, but was the weakest part of m y meal. My server was overworked by her four tables, as three of them had a family with children, but my service was adequate. Had she been able to give my needs a little more attention, this place would have four stars from me. I will be back, to try some more of their menu as the overall VALUE equation here works well for all but the snootiest folks. But every time we order with a delivery place we dont get any of the sauces its suppose to come with and on occasion small parts of the order is messed up. My family and I decided to go to Cheddar's for dinner. We were visiting from out of town and it was close to our hotel. Needless to say, our dinner was horrible. Where should I begin? The famous croissants were under cooked and we had to send them back 3x. Next I asked that my steak be cooked medium well but it was so under cooked that my plate was full of blood. Last but not least my daughter asked for a baked potato without sour cream unfortunately on the first go round it was brought to the table of course,with sour cream. I'm not sure which is worse....The service or the food. This was my first time eating at a Cheddar's restaurant and I must say this experience will make me never return. To start, my server comes to our table and asked us what We would like to drink before he even greeted us with a "Good evening I'm so n so I'll be your server". The gentleman who took our order never returns to see if we need anything as doesn't anyone else. Finally the lady who brought us new chips comes and ask if we need anything else to drink. (Hey how about the first one we ordered) I say no and tell her we ordered one that never came and requested that she please take it off our bill. She insured me she would. My food I ordered (Chicken Alfredo) was bland and the broccoli was over cooked. My girlfriends salmon which was suppose to be blackened wasn't. By now I figure out that he handed us off to another server but failed to come back and introduce her and let us know that she would be taking care of us going forward. With all that being said, the restaurant smelled, the floor was dirty and everyone seemed to just not care. However, after meeting with my family for a funeral, the majority wanted to go there and I obliged. We had been seated for around 20 minutes before receiving drinks or giving our orders. My dad spoke with the manager about the lack I service, and she never even acknowledged him at all and took no effort to resolve any issues. Eventually we were asked for our orders which mostly came out after about 30 additional minutes. Some at the table didn't receive their orders, most were incorrect and we all sat there with empty glasses. My food was cold. I had ordered the triple appetizer with chicken, cheese sticks and nachos. I couldn't eat the nachos, the chicken was overcooked and chewy, and the two and a half cheese sticks were OK, but it was all cold. After waiting an additional 30 minutes for our check - we had to tell the server again what we had ordered - we were able to leave. I've never left without leaving at least a small tip, but I was going to in this case. However my wife said to leave one dollar, which I did. I have been to this location 2 times and only because I was given a $50 gift card. They say you only get one chance to make a first impression and this place failed MISERABLY. Due to serious time constraints, I chose to phone in my order which consisted of 2 entrees, 2 desserts, and an Iced tea w/NO LEMON. I reiterated that multiple times due to allergies. The entrees were the Baby Back Ribs for the Mr. and the Pot Pie for myself. The tea came in a 16oz. Styrofoam cup at an overpriced $2.49 and because it was to-go, NO REFILLS. There was an enormous amount of ice and very little tea. I arrived before the food was ready so I sat at the bar and proceeded to lift the cup to take a drink of the tea. Well, just in time, I noticed the smell of lemon. Upon removing the lid, I find not just one but 2 wedges in it. Then, after 20 or so minutes at the bar, (in addition to the 30 minute wait time given when the order was placed), I get the food and take it home. Now comes the real topper...the only part of the order that was accurate was the desserts (the chocolate brownie sundaes) but apparently they had been left to sit waiting for the food. The ice cream was completely melted and was drinking consistenty. The brownies were nothing more that slices of stale, freezer burnt, chocolate cake and hard as bricks. My husband said the ribs were dried out and both of his sides were wrong. And, the pot pie? It was still frozen in the center!!! I called and requested to speak to a manager. After a 10 minute wait, a male answers. I explain the issues with my order beginning with the tea (which could have sent me to the hospital). Then, in the most arrogant, pompous-assed tone I have ever heard, he says " Well, what do you want me to do? It's not like you had to pay for it since you had a gift card!!
