Salmon was cooked perfectly on top a bed of rice! I asked for no glaze on top, just butter....perfection! Okra pods were ok...they are always my fave however this visit, they barely warm and tough to chew. My husband took me here for my birthday. I want to start by saying the restaurant was nice and clean. I immediately felt comfortable. The food was delicious and cooked to our desired preferences. The waitress did accidentally send me out a baked sweet potato instead of a regular baked potato but she happily fixed it for me. Also, I was surprised by how great the salad was. I cannot believe that yesterday was my first day to visit Longhorn steak house. I had the 6 ounce sirloin with mashed potatoes, a chopped salad and of course the bread! The steak and the mashed potatoes were some of the best I've ever had! The steak was cooked medium, just like I like it and you could tell it was seared in butter before cooked! The potatoes were so buttery and had a hint of garlic flavor! The bread was not the best but it was not bad either. As far as the service, our server was very attentive and she even asked us if we would like to go drinks. I also loved the ambiance. Each both had a soft light lamp so that guests could easily read the menu. The lighting wasn't so overpowering with florecent lights which is something i loved! The server David Petty displayed HORRIBLE customer service with an unprofessional attitude and Managing Partner Jeremy Fult was absolutely the WORST with continous lurking & smirking behind our booth after concerns were raised. Super friendly staff with pretty good service. Waitress wasn't around much after our meals arrived, so good thing we didn't need anything else before we finished. Steaks were very good, cooked as we ordered, but were also very salty. Standard decor throughout Longhorn Steakhouse and very clean, even the restrooms. My fave time to visit LongHorn is at lunch!! They have an amazing lunch menu with perfect portions! I love their steak salad!! The parm crusted chicken is amazing. I also love their strawberry chicken salad! My parents love the porterhouse steak! Large enough to share! My hubbies favorite is the ribeye! Burger is pretty good as well! Went to Longhorn in Beaumont tonight with my wife and two daughters. The restaurant has really turned around over the last six months, and our last several visits have been on point. Tonight was even better. We had probably the best server we have had anywhere in years. Thomas was amazing. Attentive and went the extra mile with small and timely details. Order was perfect. All of our salads came, and everyone had an extra dressing with out asking. Bread was replaced as soon as it was gone, again, without having to ask. Not a lot of chit-chat, just great service. Water and drinks filled before they were empty; Every order was perfect. The three ladies all ordered the same steak, cooked three different ways. They arrived and were placed in front of the correct person with no question. Plates placed without handing them to anyone (hate that when it happens). Cleared as soon as they were done. Thomas had quite a few tables, but provided amazing service. He is an asset to the restaurant and Longhorn is now our go-to steak place. Fantastic experience! Highly recommend!!! read more

Our waitress was outstanding! Very attentive! Great attitude and was a pleasure to be around. Why two stars you ask - when entering and greeted by the Host, we noticed the Host wasn't wearing a belt and had his pants hanging midway down his butt. This is definitely something a manager should've caught and corrected vice allowing the restaurant to fall to a standard of a nightclub. We understand Longhorn isn't a 5 star restaurant nor command 5 star prices, but I really believe no matter how many stars a restaurant has, the employees should always present themselves in a professional manner. The managers should be trained in these areas and make corrections as necessary. The food - steaks were tough and either under or over cooked. We eat here all the time as a family and the hosts always have the worst attitude. Tonight we went in and were told it would be a 5-10 minute wait, no big deal. Then, a man walks in with a lady and gave the host a hug so I guess he and the hostess were friends. She told him that they were going to clean off a table for him real quick and then proceeded to skip over the waiting area full of people to sit this man, after telling everyone else that walked in that there would be a wait. My wife and I opted for lunch here the other day and we weren't disappointed! The bread they bring to your table to start was hot and fresh. We ordered the brisket queso and chips which was very good!! I also had a cup of their Potato Soup and it was really good. My wife ordered the Parmesan Chicken with Broccoli and Mac and cheese. I ordered The Outlaw, a 20 ounce Ribeye cooked medium rare with a side salad and loaded baked potato. Our waitress Adrian was really great and made sure our orders came out at the right time and not stacked on top of each other. I'll start with the good. The sweet potato and macaroni was very good. Service was good. That's all that was good. Now for the bad. The bread was meh at best. It had very little flavor. The only thing good about it is it was free. Ordered a baked potato and it was small. Like the size of a baseball. Maybe that's the size you get at lunch. Now to the entrée. I ordered the chicken fried steak because I've been jones for one lately. I regretted my decision with the very first bite. This cfs was the thinnest, toughest and least flavorful piece of meat I've ever had. If there was any seasoning I couldn't tell. Luckily it came with a decent gravy to dip it in. As for the the breading I guess the cook skipped the class on how to properly bread a cfs. All the breading slid right off with the very first cut. I would recommend against getting the cfs and just get a steak instead. read more

My mom placed a take out order and arrived home to find items missing. Luckily I came by in time to return to the restaurant to get them for her. The manager was too nonchalant about the matter for me. Yes, I arrived after closing, but someone coming in asking to speak with a manager to me should warrant a greater level of attentiveness. A greater attention to detail would've gone a long way in avoiding this all together. It doesn't matter that a customer makes an order in your final hour of business. Every customer deserves to have their order made correctly and completely. Every customer, every order, every time! It is unacceptable to think had I not been there my mother would've had to either go out AGAIN to handle it herself or just eat what they gave her. Looking at the receipt it has designated space for checking off items to ensure orders are filled completely and correctly. The team failed to utilize this tool and this is the outcome.
