    Chicken tejders and fries
    Ian C.

Came in on a Friday night for dinner with a group of six and had an overall average experience. Pros - Quantity- Overall the amount of food wasn't bad for what was ordered. (I wanted simple and got the chicken tenders, which theyvare known for) - Staff- Staff was friendly enough, when they checked on us - Clean- While it was a busy Friday night, it was fairly clean and the restroom was as well, so that's a win. Cons Staff- While they were friendly (pro), they were very slow and seemed overwhelmed. It took about 15 minutes to get our waters after ordering and about 45 minutes for our food) Overall, not bad, could have been worse, but could have been a little quicker. Pro tip- If you get the tenders, the hot honey dipping sauce is great!

Lemon Pepper Chicken Buttered Off-The-Cob Corn Fresh Steamed Broccoli Chips & Homemade Queso
    Brett K.

The food was good, with my favorite being the chips and salsa. The meal started off with the croissant, which was a bit cold but still had flavor. The chips could've been warmed up, however the queso made up for it. The salsa was a bit sweet for my liking but it wasn't bad. My girlfriend got the chicken pot pie and the bake potato soup, and they were both pretty good. For my entree I got the lemon pepper chicken which was a smidge dry. The corn was good but the broccoli was a little bland, and you could see the freeze dried garlic pieces on the broccoli. The service was good, nothing to write home about though. Cheddar's always has a good atmosphere, however the little ipad on our table didn't work, so paying was a bit of a hassle, but not a huge deal. Overall not a bad experience and would go again. Not too expensive either at $50 with tip for coke products, croissants, appetizer, and two entrees.

    Southern Green Beans

Working in Lafayette this week, and I was looking for some good food that I could take back to my hotel room. Cheddar's has online ordering, and I was able to quickly and easily order food that I could pick up curbside. I appreciate that Cheddar's offers many excellent vegetables and side dishes. I travel for work frequently and I seldom eat fast food. Cheddar's has side dishes on the menu that you can't find at most restaurants. Today the sides I ordered were a baked potato, Southern green beans, and broccoli cheese casserole. The green beans are delicious, they taste just like the old-fashioned green beans my grandma used to make. I love broccoli casserole and it is unusual to find it in restaurants so I always order it when it is on the menu. I also ordered a bowl of baked potato soup, which was served hot, yay! I don't care for lukewarm soup so the hot soup made me happy. Cheddar's has some of the best baked potato soup I have ever had. Tastes like homemade! All the food was carefully packaged, and it was ready right on time. I pulled up to a curbside parking space and it was brought out promptly.

Chicken tenders and fried shrimp with broccoli casserole and green beans

Went in for dinner it was great as always. Yummy food cute ,set up ,and family friendly. There's also a bar for adults only . Also, heads up, they give everyone in your party a free honeybutter croissant. I must say they're pretty good . I would rather it be at the end of my meal rather than the start. my favorite thing when we go here is the shrimp and chicken tenders. I got broccoli casserole and green beans for my side dishes. I didn't really enjoy the green beans. They're a little sweet for my taste. My husband got the chicken friend steak with baked potatoe fully loaded and broccoli casserole. he enjoyed it. I can't complain. Our children got chicken Alfredo and friend shrimp with green beans. In my opinion, the kids' shrimp was not much food at all. Other than that, everything was fine.

We were seated promptly and the waitress was at our table with croissants within 4 minutes. So far so good .had to return the steak ,it was well done which the font like ,but that was as much my fault as the waitresses. It's a typical chain but better than some. My husband's chicken pot pie tasted very "chickeny" All in all it was a good meal.

This facility is very large so they can move a lot of dinners quickly - and they do!! Our party of two don't have to wait long for a spot in the bar. The inside of the restaurant is attractive and comfortable. They had plenty of staff which were friendly and helpful. The tile on the bar floor was very slippery on this visit. I'm not certain why since it wasn't raining outside. The floor was uncomfortably slick. It's been a while since I've been to a Cheddars. The menu is significantly smaller. I was surprised at how limiting the menu choices were. For lunch I had the chicken tender salad. I found the salad to be very fresh. The tenders were tasty like the regular tenders. The croissant was a little tough but it was buttery, tasty and sweet.

We went here on Friday and it was 3:30 in the afternoon. We saw only 4 couples in the restaurant. They seated us next to another table with 3 people all other tables in that area was empty. We asked if we could sit at one of the 8 tables in the same area, but was told we couldn't. The service was not very good no refills and she never took any dirty dishes away. The restaurant was dirty with food on the floor. Outside the benches were rusty and the paint was peeling off. I will never eat here again and would not recommend it.

    Country Fried Chicken, so good!

We were celebrating our anniversary so it was a special night for us. Our waitress was super but stretched thin so she wasn't as attentive as she probably was on another night. This is a very upscale place. Decor and service reflect that. Good old fashioned steakhouse vibe. Oysters Rockafeller were perfect. Bread was fresh and absolutely delicious. He had American Wagyu Ribeye. I had Steak Oscar. Both were cooked appropriately. Maybe slightly under seasoned as we both added salt which is not typical for us. The Old Fashioned was really good and they had a wide selection of wine/beer and a handful of specialty cocktails. Our 2nd round of drinks was comped due to slow service at the bar and dessert was on the house for our anniversary which we really appreciated. We will definitely go back and try other things on the menu. Our steaks were good but I wouldn't say they were worth the price. $110 for his and $80ish for my Oscar. It was a filet with truffled hollandaise sauce and a scant amount of King Crab. They no longer serve King Crab due to the cost. Strange. If we would pay $110 for a steak why wouldn't we pay for King Crab due but that was a minor detail. I wouldn't say have preferred more crab...give me snow crab. The dessert was delightful. Baked Alaska served table side with plenty of rum. Thank you for making us feel valued and special!

(e.g. the scallop dish had exactly 3 scallops for what you're paying.) Prices on the menu have also gone up since other Yelper pics of the menu. The bread and butter was delicious. There is a lot of it, so I asked to box up the leftover bread and butter. The waiter took it but definitely did not box up the same amount of bread that I left behind. I only received a fraction of what I expected to be boxed up. The butter was flat out discarded. I would have just boxed it up myself had I known that they'd make sure it would go to waste. Not sure what happened to my actual leftover bread. The waiter was telling me all about the desserts and really played up the baked Alaska. It sounded great and I had my heart set on it after hearing all about how awesome it was and then he came back and said they ran out. It would have been more efficient to check up on inventory before talking up the different menu items.

I asked the hostess if we could sit in the dining section. She seemed hesitant at which point I mentioned my reservation details. She said the restaurant only takes reservations for tables, not sections - this contradicts their booking website. I asked if she could see if there was an opening in the dining section. She was incredibly rude and seemed bothered at my request. The hostess goes to the check-in table, looks into things, and seats us in the dining section. She made off putting remarks on the way to the table, which was rude and inappropriate. I've been to this restaurant before and the food was what I expected - OK, but nothing special. The wait staff were nice and courteous. However, the initial experience with the hostess put a bit damper on the evening. I don't plan on going back anytime soon. As an FYI, the restaurant was not at all busy when we arrived, and there were plenty of tables. I don't understand why the hostess was rude.
