Location: Fox Den Pizza is located in a small corner strip in front of Meijers. The location is nicely updated and modern with a open view to kitchen which was nice to see. The wall mounted pizza boxes is a great way to show off sizes since sometimes your not carrying a tape measure. Menu: I was impressed with the menu to be honest. It boasted a good assortment of items and options all clearly presented without frivolous info or items. Service: The table service was passable. We had to get our own drinks, but the pizza came super hot straight to the table! The staff did inquire how things were going, which was very nice but not overly intrusive to interrupt the meal. Very well done! Meal: The pizza was Good! Very good in fact. Very similar to a New York style slice of pizza, but size dependent. They do offer a guarantor 30" pizza square cut that detours from the norm, but it was very good. I do want to make special note of the sauce. It had Italian seasoning right in the sauce. This is one of those things that gets passed over too many times. This was truly good sauce and with the melted stringy cheese and crust it was a perfect combo! Overall: A solid 8/ 10. We had a pizza delivered to our hotel room and it was delicious. It arrived 15 minutes early and was hot just like if you were dining in.

A under appreciated gem in Lafayette! So far I've had the pizza and the meatball sub & fries. Fries leave a little to be desired but the pizza and sandwich are solid. Even took my kids in and they liked the pizza too! read more

Great place for pizza! The employees and owner were very friendly. The food was out quick and tasted great. Much better than any pizza you would get from any other pizza place around. Definitely try the Brownie Piz or the Cookie Pizza for dessert. You can get a free little Fox's Pizza Den pizza/brownie cutter with it which is a nice plus. Bathrooms were pretty clean at least until one of the employees went in and started making loud grunting sounds so I'm assuming it got a little messed up in the process. The owner also had never heard of a house salad however as he seem confused when I ordered it, despite being in the business for over 20 years. Great experience though! read more

When I arrived the person told me the food was in the oven. He pointed at and said it would be out in about a minute. Another person took the Stromboli out of the oven and packaged it. She then gave it to another customer. So they had to remake my Stromboli. While the sandwich with my order sat there. No one ever admitted to the mistake and I stood there waiting for 20 minutes past the time the order was supposed to be ready. read more

Ordered delivery and it took over an hour and a half, even though the wait time listed was 45 - 55 minutes. When it arrived from Grub Hub, the pizza was cold. Not even a little bit hot. The overall flavor was good, but it wasn't fresh. Hire your own delivery people to protect your brand! read more

Called and explained I had never been to their restaurant and didn't even know about them before and wanted to give them a try but I would only order if they would do a no contact delivery. Prepaid with a credit card and included 20% tip just to have delivery driver simply walk up, leave the pizza at the door, and leave. The employee who took the order insisted this wouldn't be a problem. Delivery drivers shows up, rings bell twice, and leaves with pizza. I saw it through my security camera and I was not at the residence at this time. He didn't even back away from the door. I did get a voicemail from the driver but he didn't leave his number and there was no missed call or CALLER ID entry so my only option was to call the restaurant. When I called the restaurant, manager "Hank" was extremely rude and argumentative. He insisted that I should have told driver to leave the pizza, and didn't seem to have the intelligence required to understand that a security camera with no speaker or microphone isn't a phone or a walkie talkie and I can't just communicate with the driver via ESP. Instead of arguing with me about the status of my security camera, I think his time would be better spent providing some basic entry-level training to his delivery drivers about what "no-contact" means. If manager "Hank" thinks he's entitled to a new customer's business regardless of his incompetent management and inability to provide basic no-contact training to his delivery drivers after more than a year now in this pandemic then I don't think he's entitled to a falsified positive review. This is a poorly-managed restaurant that lacks basic intelligence. I could train a Golden Retriever to accomplish a no-contact delivery in less than 3-4 days and this restaurant can't figure it out after more than a year. Clearly the employees and leadership involved at this location are a risk to public health and safety. Do not order from Lafayette Fox Pizza Den managed by Hank. read more

Their pizza is tasty, but there is nothing "special" that Pizza Hut couldn't deliver, and for a lesser price. We have also tried their wings & wedgies. The wings are good, but again, nothing unique. I liked the wedgie okay, but there is TOO MUCH bread. You end up throwing the extra away and it just seems unnecessary. They do have a neat deal, though, where if you bring your church bulletin in from attending on Sunday they give you a discount. They also have a drive-thru which is a nice bonus as well. Overall, I enjoy this place but I can spend less money and get neat toppings & sauces at Pizza Hut for no extra cost. Their location isn't the best either, as it's on the outside of town. Driving from the Region to Indy and it was getting past dinnertime, so we stopped off at this place for a meat supreme pizza. It was exactly what the pizza should have been. Good toppings, crispy cooked crust (not doughy), and not grease-soaked. Someone here compared it to a good frozen pizza. I can see where they'd make that comparison due to the thin-crust vs traditional "doughy" crust that you'd find at a Papa John's. However, the cheese was fresher and the crust had more moisture than your typical freezer food. For those reasons I'd place it higher than a frozen pizza. Same style though. I'm definitely a fan though. Next time I'm driving down 65, I know where I'm stopping. read more

We bought a Deal Chicken coupon because we wanted to check out local restaurants. The location in Lafayette, Indiana was cute and clean. We ordered the steak and cheese sandwich, cheesy breadsticks and a large pizza. It was all good, and the order of cheesy breadsticks was huge for 5 bucks. Final vote: Me--liked the steak and cheese sandwich the best, very tender steak (and they weren't chintzy with the portions) with real cheese and it tasted like it was brushed with a tiny bit of garlic butter (?), then the cheesy breadsticks, light and puffy with good flavor and the pizza third. Husband-he liked the pizza the best, then the sandwich, then the cheesy breadsticks. The employees were friendly. We are looking forward to going back and trying different sandwiches and that Stromboli thingy. read more

Fox's Pizza Den is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. As a former Pittsburgh resident, I was delighted to see Fox's come to Lafayette. In general, their sauces and cheese are wonderful. Great spices and they use REAL pecorino romano cheese. My favorites at Fox's are stromboli, wedgies, and bambinos. They are located on 26 right in front of Meijer. Easy parking! Not like places on campus! Stromboli: All your favorite toppings baked in their dough. Plenty of marinara to dip! Wedgies: Silly name, right? These are baked sandwiches that use pizza crust instead of bread. AMAZING. Try the chicken parm wedgie! The pizza: It IS a pizza place, right? Their pizza is very good too! Same dough and marinara. Not very greasy, good crispy (but not too thin) crust. Try the bambino (6" round) for $2.50! CHEAP. They also sell a 52-cut 30" pizza called "The Big One." Would be great for a party. The best part about fox's? They deliver anywhere in a 5 mile radius. My only gripe: $1.50 delivery fee. Definitely the best pizza in Lafayette. Hands down. read more

Having tried Fox's in Plainfield, Indiana and liking it, was excited to try the lafayette store. I was disappointed. Walked in to dirty tables, that weren't clean the whole time we were there. The service was horrible and slow. The breadsticks bordered on burnt and the pizza was just ok. Definitely not like the Plainfield store. read more

My Hubby an I stopped here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were the only people there at 12:30 in the afternoon....not a good sign. He ordered a "wedgie" and I a strombolli and well...the food wasn't the worst we had ever had it certainly wasn't the best. The contents of my strombolli was only warm on the edges, in the middle it wasn't even warm enough to melt all of tbe cheese inside. My Hubby only ate half of his "wedgie". We left saying "We should've gone to.....". I gave them two stars ONLY because the gentleman that was working was super nice. read more

I had ordered a few times for delivery through Grubhub. It had been really good. Order I received just now, I could count on one hand how many little cubes of chicken were in my chicken parm hoagie. I was overcharged for my jalapeno popper side. The 6" cheese pizza which is usually the best thing tasted worse than anything I had ever had in school. Someone claiming to be a manager but did not give his name only could say "I made the sandwich myself" like they all claim when you complain about an item and "I'll take care of you next time" as he was quick to get rid of me. I am always looking forward to trying a new pizza place. The staff seemed quite busy which is a good sign that others also want to try their pizza. We ordered a deluxe pizza, cheese pizza, steak and cheese wedgie sandwich, chees bread, and oven wedges for 6 adults. The quantity of food was more than sufficient. The group was split on the pizza and the sandwich. Half the group was fine with the pizza and sandwich while the other half agreed the pizza was no better than a good frozen pizza. The persons who did not find the pizza that good thought it was because the of the sauce taste and lack of any crust crispness. Meanwhile the sandwich was liked because the crust used to make it was cripsy and it had nice flavors but the other half thought the steak tasted too much like ground beef. Their regular crust and ease of sauce use is amazing here! We've literally lived across the street from them for years and I can't believe I've been missing them! I usually only get tomato on my pizza and they are generous with the toppings and the tomato is fresh, juicy, delicious. Pizza huts toppings do not even come close. The crust is a little plain though and not enough garlic for me in the sauce. But otherwise I'd order them over Pizza Hut any day. read more

My favorite style pizza is New York, I loved Marco's when they were open and that was the only place I got pizza. Alas, Marco's has closed and I was jonesing for a slice, as I don't like Pizza Hut and Domino's can be be hit or miss I tried this place. My pizza was made quickly and proficiently, but it wasn't that better than frozen. The crust was a bit too thick, there was a lot of sauce (not sweet, but not really flavorful either--I got a lot of tomato paste), not a ton of toppings but not exactly skimpy either. It was pretty underwhelming, and, even though I'm not a fan of Papa Johns, I guess it will have to be my new go-to because this food just wasn't very good. I'd rather buy a Red Barons. Pizza and strombolies are great! However the sandwiches are very weak. Not enough toppings and the bread is over done. I have tried the sandwiches 3 times and always the same result. I write this review with total respect for the opinions of others that have taken the time to review Fox's Den. On Nov 30th @ 6:45pm, I purchased a large cheese pizza to take home. The pizza was over over done, and had very little cheese. When I called to complain about the pizza, the person that answered the phone listened briefly, said he was sorry and then hung up the phone. I will assure you, as GOD is my judge that I did not use any inappropriate language. Incidentally, I left a 2 dollar tip in the tip jar at the counter. I think a tip for take out might be a little unusual. I have not lived in Lafayette for very long. On the two previous Saturdays I purchased 40 chicken wings and cheesy bread to go, they were good. On Saturday Dec.7th, I purchased 2 buckets of wings that I ordered about 2 hours earlier at Meijer supermarket. They were fresh, plump and delicious.
