Pepperoni and sausage deep dish pizza
    Baleigh T.

Our food was amazing. The deep dish pizza is sooo cheesy and the sauce is very flavorful. Probably my favorite pizza in town. The staff were very attentive and checked in with us frequently. They made sure to tell us about all of their promotions and options. It was overall a wonderful dining experience. We came when they had a free drink promotion. We had the pizza, some brisket nachos (which were a crowd pleaser for sure), and the rib tips. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the tables were stocked with everything you might need for your meal.

THE WORST pizza I have ever had. Floating in grease. Gas station pizza is better. Avoid.

Once you walk in, you walk up to a counter place your order and they will call out your name on the order is ready for pick up. There is also a fully self service station for sauces as well as Takeaway boxes if you need them. The menu offers a lot of different combinations and samplers and meats from pork to chicken. The sides are also a little bit unique in the sense that the vegetable sides also have added bacon, which is great to see. I personally love to see hush puppies, which is a very antiquated and rare to find option for food. And they did not disappoint. Overall, I would say from the sampler of the ribs and the chicken were fantastic as well as the pulled pork. The brisket was OK, but did not necessarily stand out. We did try four different barbecue sauces, which were all fantastic. The hush puppies as I stated earlier were absolutely delicious and I would come back just for these. We also got the corn pudding, which was a little bit on the sweeter side, but made and baked fresh just like everything else here. And this was a great alternative to cornbread. To top it all off, the staff here was so super nice, especially the young man at the counter when you first walked in as he also offered up a sample of the corn pudding because I've never heard of corn pudding nor did I ever tried it and this was also my first visit. I would definitely come back here again, and/or visit any of their other locations closer to Indy.

The sauces were good but couldn't make up for the missing seasoning on the meats. I had the 2 meat 2 side, brisket, pulled pork, with greens and baked beans. Now the side had a lot of flavor to them and was better than the meats. (In my opinion) Also ordered was the More Cowbell and the chicken tenders with fries. Those were delicious and warm. The place strikes me as a corporate type restaurant and not a family run one. I'm glad I checked it out. But won't be on my list of places I'd like to return to only because of other bbq places I like better.

We were at Fresh Thyme and to avoid the crowds in the parking lot we tried to escape from the front. We happen upon HuHot and a parking spot. Bingo. So we decided why not? It's a fill your bowl, sauce your bowl and they cook it. Just meh. Not a large selection of items, I tried one piece of the beef and pork which were tough they had run out of chicken and I didn't want to wait so just ok. They got an extra star because of amazing customer service. The hostess was extremely helpful and when informed of my husband's food allergy bent over backwards to ensure his safety. They will even take items from storage that haven't been exposed to possible cross-contamination on the ingredients bar and fill your special order bowl. It doesn't stop there when my husband went to have his bowl cooked the cook asked him if he had cleaned the grill well enough for hubby to feel safe! Two well-known and strangely well-regarded chain restaurants have poisoned my husband. Luckily on the first taste, he could feel something wasn't right so no ER visit was required. I now taste everything before he eats. Last thing It was very inexpensive much much cheaper than I expected and for me, and maybe you, who like a bowl of vegetables and a starch it worked out nicely.

Our waitress was nice and attentive. We will definitely go back to this place when we are in the area again.

The quality is good. You place your order as soon as you enter. We were unsure as to how it worked so went to look at the salad bar. It was ok nothing spectacular. They also had soup. All food in this area is weighed and you pay by the ounce. Reminded me of a hospital cafeteria except it was more expensive. I was never sure how much per ounce. A friend had the chicken salad sandwich which was on the most wonderful croissant. Chicken salad is very thickly applied. It was good not over the top but good also we split a coconut cream pie. It was on the heavy side a lot of coconut and not much pudding. I like my coconut cream nice and fluffy. . For a very small salad and the chicken sandwich, it was 39. Dollars a bit much.
