The clientele consisted of 25 women and three men. Kind of funny to me - another reviewer commented it was all old ladies in there and I will not argue much with that! I constructed my own sandwich of turkey, gouda, hummus, lettuce, tomato, red onion on a multigrain baguette. My wife had the salmon burger and my older daughter who can eat real food had the chicken tenders. Everything was awesome. I hate to say it, but what impressed me the most was the kids meal. The chicken tenders seemed to have been cooked on a griddle which made them crispier. Also, they came with six kinds of fruit! (cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes, orange, pineapple, strawberry) They include jelly beans too, but given that it was just Easter, we're good on candy, so I asked that they hold the jelly beans. My sandwich was fresh and delicious. The hummus is a little gritty, so if you only like super-smooth authentic stuff, you might not love it. My wife enjoyed her salmon burger and potato salad. Overall, I would say from the sampler of the ribs and the chicken were fantastic as well as the pulled pork. The brisket was OK, but did not necessarily stand out. We did try four different barbecue sauces, which were all fantastic. The hush puppies as I stated earlier were absolutely delicious and I would come back just for these. We also got the corn pudding, which was a little bit on the sweeter side, but made and baked fresh just like everything else here. And this was a great alternative to cornbread.
