Wisconsin Cheese Bites - not bad. Ranch was ok.

My last review for this place was three stars.... Now, it's barely two.... At 6pm on a Wednesday, without any customers in the restaurant, we were sat very quickly. Thumbs up. Server was very nice. Double thumbs up. So far so good. Food was not good. Please see the pictures for descriptions. Monte Cristo was soft (even though it's supposed to be deep fried) and not hot. How? I don't know. We returned the flavorless kid's penne pasta. And I'm TIRED from the fight with the spinach dip. Why was the dip so tough?!? We literally had to use a knife and fork to get the dip out. Cheese curds were ok. Not hot but at least it had flavor. I don't understand how our food wasn't hot. There is no one else here at the restaurant. Even if our food wasn't premade, at least microwave it. How does Alfredo sauce taste like nothing? Server and host were nice. Restaurant was clean. Apparently one of the toilet seat were broken. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Not the worst meal I've had but it's right down there. The server and host saved this meal. Would I come back? If I remember this meal, no I won't.

Salmon, broccoli , mushrooms, mashed potatoes. I nixed the rice. Like it fresh, and it was excellent.

The hostess was very professional and accommodating to our big birthday event. Great customer service, I hope to go back soon with my friends. It's the February birthday event for us all. Our Server Kai mastered a large party order with split bills.

Ordered fast, my drink came fast , good service Good drinks good food here at 10:30 not too crowded

Visiting this restaurant for the first time, the atmosphere is relaxed, and we had good service. The Cheddar's Painkiller drink was really good. The only thing I didn't like was that my dish was supposed to have chicken and shrimp, but they forgot the shrimp and brought them later after a while. Also, if you arrive with a party of more than 6 people, they don't have tables to seat everyone together, so they split you into separate groups

It was so good. I have never ordered pasta at a restaurant before but the grilled shrimp Alfredo just kept calling me. A drastic change from the chicken tenders I normally get and I'm so glad I went with my first mind. The Key West was really flavorful and that bourbon sauce on the chicken really gives it's that bit of zing! It was really good. Our server was patient because we were undecided but the third time she came to take our order we were ready. Long story short, we didn't get our croissant until we left and we got a couple containers. Because of the wait we were offered drinks. And as you can see from the bottom of my cup, it was real strawberries. I never get juices or drinks but I would order this again. Let it water down a bit and it was perfect. Oh, make sure you have a jacket because it was freezing inside. and it was about as loud as you would expect for a Friday.

As we visited for the first time, Houston, Texas, to visit a dear friend in Katy, we stopped for dinner at this location right next to our hotel. The server named Key was such a sweet young lady, very informative after we told her it was our first time at Cheddar's. For the appetizer, she mentioned the spinach dip, and she brought out complimentary bread glazed with butter and cheese that was so yummy as was the spinach dip. My wife and I ordered a full slab of ribs with coleslaw and rice and beans. It was really good and even though we shared the ribs it was too much and I took some to our friend. I had the Maui Margarita, and my wife had a beer. I also talked to another young lady who worked there, and she told me her manager was from chicago

this location is super hit or miss but it's usually miss. everyone is super nice and the food is delicious (if you know what to order) but the service is usually very slow and unprofessional. we got sat and had to wait 15 minutes before anyone came and took our drink and appetizer order. our chips and queso come out before we got our waters, literal choking hazard (being dramatic but yeah lowkey) and our waters took about 10 minutes to come out. we didn't get our croissants until we got our waters and we didn't get our alcoholic beverages until we got our entrees. when we asked for water refills, it took about 5 minutes to get them. we wanted to get another order of drinks and a desert but we knew it'd take foreverrrr for someone to even take our order and then even longer for the order to come out so we just decided to pay and leave (thank goodness for the little table ipads they have or whatever they're called because otherwise it would take 3 years to get the check) the only redeeming quality was the amount of butter they put on the croissant that was gorgeous. otherwise full experience 3/10 i will go further for a better experience in fact don't go to cheddars just go to chilis instead

I grew up going to cheddars almost every other weekend because it's my dad's favorite restaurant . Took him to eat here for Father's Day and it was not busy at all. Food is always consistent , so no complaints about that. Love how their drinks are pretty cheap.

The dining room is chic and feels very upscale but comfortable with a large open fire kitchen that was really fun to watch while dining. They were very on top of service with both our dining captain and waiter checking on us throughout the evening. For appetizers we ordered the deviled crabs, tuna tostada and wood roasted carrots. All were great but I especially loved the carrots which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. For my main course I had the chicken and dumplings, husband got the NY strip, our friends shared the whole fish and we had the cabbage and crab rice as sides. Everyone was very happy with both their main courses and the side dishes. We were too stuffed to order dessert but they sent out a s'mores inspired sunday for my birthday which was both thoughtful and sublime. Overall we were very impressed with our meal. Food was delicious but veeeery indulgent. We will be back.

We were greeted by three different people - one that took our drink order, one that cleared our plates, and one that took our order. All were very nice people and gave excellent service! I forgot their names unfortunately. My receipt said Zachary but not sure which waiter that was. Between me and hubs, we had a Pan de campo, an order of Gulf Oysters "casino", (4) dressed oysters, a 16 oz dry aged ribeye, a snapper entree and a side of crab fried rice. We finished almost everything except a quarter of the Pan, about a quarter of the rice, and about a third of the ribeye. All were great dishes and would definitely order again. We skipped dessert because honestly none stood out to us. He said their popular dessert is the souffle but they were sold out. Our total before gratuity was about $250 and that included one cocktail. Hubs had their "classic" old fashioned which he said was excellent! Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind the splurge or for a special occasion!

The Brussel sprouts and crab hush puppies were great. The breakfast skillet, I could have done without. It had absolutely NO flavor. Luckily I asked for some sour cream and they were able to provide it. That's the only reason I was able to slightly enjoy the dish. The drinks. The mimosa was perfect. Hard to mess that up though right? I asked if they had any stouts and if so, if they could provide a sample. I'm so happy I asked for a sample and didn't just order the "one" stout they had. The beer was flat. So disappointing! Overall, the place was okay. I'd more than likely return for their drink happy hour, but it's a hard pass outside of that.

Upon arriving, our server asked us to be seated anywhere. The place was empty. I guess lunch may not be the preferred or busiest meal at the hotel. I am sure most of the inhabitants had just finished their breakfast. The lunch menu was pretty simple. We both ordered a make your own burger. I went with a make your own grilled chicken, while my friend with a make your own burger. I got French fries as my side and kettle cooked chips with the other order. My grilled chicken was amazing. It was grilled to perfection with melted cheese on the breast. It was topped off with lettuce tomatoes onions and mayo. As I was chewing every bite, I was just cherishing the bursting flavor that was coming from the chicken. I also had a bite of the burger which too was amazing. We got it medium well with melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and mayo. An absolute delight. Our server, whose name I am forgetting was very attentive and friendly. He kept checking up on us and would refill our drinks in a timely manner. The ambiance and décor was nice too. There were a few TV's and the place was well maintained. The bar section was pretty big too. Considering the quality of food, I definitely see myself returning to this location.

No hostess, no server, no bartender. Eventually a server came out and told us to sit anywhere and brought us menus. They offer a Pick Two lunch with fairly limited choices. And, when asked if they have a drink menu for a small cocktail- we were told they don't have a bartender until the evening. Uhm, ok, but it's a Sports Bar.... The food was average: not bad but not great either. Standard nachos, sliders, pasta, salad or burger choices. I got sliders and my friend got nachos. Both were ok. The $3 iced tea seemed overpriced. Lunch is only $7. There are lots of TVs going which is cool but one had the volume too loud, in my opinion. Made conversation difficult in an otherwise empty place. By the time we left only two other tables had patrons and they all entered with no direction and since we were sitting near the door, asked us where to sit (we just said anywhere). Eventually the server saw them and took them menus. Personally, I'd skip it for lunch and maybe try a Happy Hour when, hopefully, they're staffed. Disappointing since I frequent the area for work once a week.
