The crawfish at this location are great. We used to frequent Rajan Cajan for crawfish but they have definitely met their match. In addition, the wait staff has been consistently good. My only struggle is walking in to the front door and having to wade through all the cigarette smoke because they have a cigarette butt drop/station 5 ft from the entrance. When I arrived, our complete party wasn't there. So I got a hurricane at the bar. They were $5. It took a while to be seated. Plus there was not much happening though it was Mardi Gras. The only zydeko I heard was in the bathroom. I ordered fish tacos. They come with a salad and a side. I ordered a Caesar salad. It was good but I don't see why it has to be spicy. I've tried multiple times to contact the manager at this location and have not received a callback, even when I was told I would. Customer service has been consistently disappointing, and the cleanliness of the restrooms has been below standard on more than one visit. I've tried to handle this directly with the location, but due to the lack of response, I will be escalating this to corporate. First off, when we arrived, the host seated us and asked for our drink orders. We gave him a few drink choices, and then told him we wanted a seafood boil that wasn't spicy. He recommended the "Texas Heat" flavor, saying it was one of their most popular options. Since we were there with my 12-year-old stepdaughter, my almost 1-year-old son, and my almost 1-year-old daughter, we trusted his suggestion. When our food came out, we still hadn't received our drinks -- and the seafood boil was extremely spicy. None of us could eat it, so we let them know. They took it back, and when it was returned, it still tasted spicy. It honestly seemed like they just rinsed it off and added garlic butter instead of remaking it. To make it worse, the portion looked smaller -- only one egg, one corn, and a few potatoes. When we asked about it, the staff didn't seem to know why, but said they'd bring more out. Five minutes later, the server came back with just one egg. At that point, it almost felt like a joke. We spoke with the manager, who apologized and admitted they don't remake the platter -- they just "re-dip" it in a different sauce, which explained why it was still spicy. She offered 25% off and removed a kids' meal, but that didn't make up for the poor service and bad experience. Our bill was around $140, which we don't mind paying when the food and service are worth it -- but this was not. It took 30 minutes to get our alcoholic drinks, which arrived when we were nearly done eating. The server's attitude was dismissive, and the whole experience felt careless. Overall, very disappointing. For a family-friendly seafood place, you'd think they'd be more attentive and considerate when recommending menu items and serving families with kids. read more

Decided a few days later to give it another try and was just as disappointed. Ordered the chimichurri strip steak and the sauce was barely any flavor at all. Be careful when you go out to eat and the waiter comes to you with a handheld devise to pay your bill. Normally they offer click and pick tips like 15%, 18%, 20%, etc We went out for dinner tonight and the service was okay so I tried to tip 20% Not till I left did I actually look it over and realize that didn't add up. I heard about this on TikTok but this is the first time i actually realized it's true! UPDATE: I am being told that this is 20% before their promotion that they sent a text message to me about but did not give me a dollar value for. Great place and one of my favorite places for crawfish season! I can get that Louisiana Crawfish cajun without having to go to Louisiana! Definitely enjoyable with friends because it's so much more worth it to order a large portion and share with everyone. My roommate and I ordered 6 lbs to share between us which was easy to kill. It is saltier than what I prefer but I'm addicted to the cajun spice. Service is average, everytime I come here, no matter what location, service is average. Waiters don't come back to the table frequently enough to refill drinks or bring additional napkins or condiments requested. The bowls hit our table rather quickly & we dug in. Man oh man, the roux is so delicious with the right amount of kick. Because I love Crystal hot sauce, I added a couple of drops. Was denied entry w/ a clearly marked service dog. I'm an amputee w/ mobility issues & used a service dog. She is trained to alert as well as help w/ balance so not a "pet". I entered wearing shorts so my disability was clearly visible and my dog was wearing a hot pink service dog vest. We were told the manager does not allow service dogs. I asked if they were sure about this as that's actually against the law and they confirmed. The door person was nice but it was still an extremely discriminatory policy and the first time I've ever been denied entry from an establishment. I left feeling extremely embarrassed and more than a little bewildered. I mean, they have a patio section which I would have happily sat in. I wants to be descriminated against but for it to happen because of my disability was a just a bit much. Needless to say, I'll definitely be filing the appropriate ADA complaints. My 8 yr old, well trained service dog should never have been denied entry. We are a team and there is a reason laws exist to protect these teams. read more

The tails are really mushy though the size of the crawfish were pretty decent for this time of year. However, there is barely any flavor to the tails which wasn't the case when we got some last year. My friends and I came to this place an hour before closing trying to look for food last minute. We were in the area decided to pop in. The red haired server with a pony tail continued gave us a lot of hesitation because it was 7 of us. There were others parties bigger than us but she made it a negotiation situation just to seat!
