Met at 9 am on a rainy Saturday for a reunion breakfast with a friend. The parking can be hard to find. There are numerous businesses in the plaza. There was some business but not completely full so seated quickly. The atmosphere was bustling and our server was fantastic. I don't remember her name but she was fantastic (and a fellow Chinese chic). Order: morning meditation drink, traditional breakfast Morning meditation (4/5) - normally not a juice person but it looked interesting and ended up being so tasty (Orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet) Traditional breakfast (4/5) - the chicken apple sausage was the star of the show, really liked the combo of flavors, and the strawberry jam was top notch and I'm not a jam person, eggs and potatoes were nice as well They got super busy (people waiting) so be prepared. I recommended to a friend and they went two weekends in a row to the location by their house Overall def would return. Wanna try the pancakes and get another order of the chicken apple sausage. read more

This place was packed on Saturday afternoon! At first glance it looks like a dennys or ihop knockoff...their prices are similar but their food and drinks are in another league...especially their more health conscious menu! These dishes are obviously made fresh with better incidents and taste amazing. Food should be fuel. Not load you full of sugar and carbs wanting to take a nap after. Their juices and cocktails are on point too. Not really a bad choice. Other than having to wait a few minutes for a table and they close "early" at 230pm...I have nothing bad to say about it. We'll definitely be back if we're out shopping in the memorial city area again. read more

I love potatoes. However this location does not know how to cook them. I have asked for them well done and received half cooked hard potatoes. This was twice on to go orders. So I decided in person would be ideal. We'll had to send them back when returned many were burned. This happened twice. I have eaten at the other location near Tomball and no potato issue. It is their cooks for sure. Hard half done potatoes are terrible read more

Never disappoints. This is my favourite breakfast/lunch spot for all the reasons mentioned in my previous review. They always offer great service which gives the overall experience and ambiance five stars +. Farm to table organic and hearty foods speak for themselves. Delicious! read more

First Watch is my go-to for Saturday brunch. Although it is always very busy, I have never had to wait for more than ten minutes to be seated. Servers are super friendly and attentive, and service is quick. I must say, the acoustics in this place are terrible - sometimes it gets so loud that it is hard to carry a conversation. They have an extensive menu with tons of options, healthy and not-so-much. Their portions are big, so I always end up taking leftovers home. You cannot go wrong with any of their giant pancakes - my favorite are the blueberry, they always hit the spot. Another items I frequently order are the Eggs Benedict BLT, and the Trifecta. They always cook my eggs exactly the way I like them. On days when I am craving something healthier, I order the Healthy Turkey, which is an egg-white omelet with tomato, spinach and feta cheese. It comes with a whole-grain toast and jam on the side. It is delicious and filling! Like others have mentioned, it can be hard to find a parking spot during busier times, which is the norm in Houston. read more

Absolutely amazing. Best breakfast ever. Not going anywhere else. Wow. From the fresh coffee, lemon blueberry cornbread to bacon, egg cheese, pepper and arugula breakfast sandwich to fluffy pancakes. Our group of four dined with ease and delightful yums. Dishes are cute and on point trend. What's not to love. read more

I've seen this place since they opened and decided to stop in today and give them a try. I was warmly greeted and seated promptly without a delay. The decor is modern, open and gives a feeling of space. I had the Biscuits and Turkey Gravy with eggs and country potatoes. It was delicious and quite filling. My server was Isabel and she was terrific! Her smile seems warm and genuine. She is attentive without being overbearing. A definite asset to the staff. In the words of General MacArthur, "I shall return". read more

First Watch is a very consistent brunch spot that has varying levels of how busy it gets. Very busy on weekends brunches. Suggest getting in line ahead on their website. They're very considerate towards allergies. The steak and egg hash is pretty good - filling, though the steak quality varies in terms of how stringy it is. read more

Their breakfast and brunch dishes are always a hit. I shared the Parma hash and lemon ricotta pancakes with a friend, and both were absolutely delicious! The potatoes are seriously some of the best. The cheese was melted to ooey gooey perfection, and the grilled onions and mushrooms were amazing. The pancakes were fluffy and soft!! Literally humongous. The service was excellent - the servers are always friendly and kind. Lots of indoor seating but lots of people so we had to wait for at least 10 min for a table to open up for our big group. read more

Service was unbelievably slow for how many people there were during prime brunch time. I should've known better than to order the birria quesadilla benedict - I was so intrigued by the uniqueness of this menu item, but was sadly disappointed when it really didn't hit the nail on the head for any of the three things it claimed to be (see photos). I was also completely appalled that a side of avocado cost $2.30 for 3 measly slices and is the same price as 2 very chunky slices of whole grain toast. read more

A banana peel was in my pancakes. No discount, despite mentioning it to my server. I will not be returning to this location.

I asked for a side of avocado toast then when I get the receipt it's the avocado toast meal. I bring it to her attention then she said "sorry the side of avocado toast is the hole grain toast with avocado toast not what I got you" like girl are you dumb then all she knows how to do is say sorry instead of fix her mistake. So, this is the first time I have been to the Bunker Hill location. I know everyone is not having a great day, every day, but I was seriously worried about the waitress. She refused to smile or engage, but that is fine, whatever. Food came out quick and was delicious. Couldn't find the waitress and had to ask another person to locate her so I could get my check. I live near two other locations and know some of the staff by name and probably won't be back here as it's not as convenient. As I was paying, the manager yelled as he walked to his car waving "I'll be back in 5 hours" : ) read more

I've been to a few First Watches and I'm glad that it's consistent across the board. First watch is a staple breakfast/brunch place. I was trying to find something small to eat this morning, and opted for the biscuit and gravy. I'm glad I went with that because it was a pretty large biscuit with some delicious sausage gravy. It was around $6 for it because it was technically a side dish, but honestly a good enough portion, especially if you're not super hungry. I did pair it with their mint mocha, which is an iced coffee with chocolate, mint, and whipped cream. While it was coffee, or tasted like chocolate milk, and I'm here for it. The service was pretty quick and decent. The place overall was standard as well. Parking is a bit limited, so you might have to park a bit further down and walk. read more

Great food per usual but the service at this location is okay. Didn't really get checked on much after the food arrived if we needed anything else. And I needed to ask another staff member for a box since my waitress never came back. But overall good breakfast options read more

The food is good. Nothing to write home about but solid. We have been here a few times and service can be hit or miss. Sometimes we get an engaging person who helps us really well, other times, we have gotten one word answers and no help. Solid breakfast choice but I wouldn't wait around during long wait times. read more

I don't eat out for breakfast often, but I do love a good waffle. We ordered for take out and was so excited to see waffles. As much as I love eggo waffles, I wanted the homemade style. This place makes thick, fluffy and chewy waffles. It was so light and delicious. My sister loved the breakfast sausage. It was not salty or dry. We also had the gingerbread spiced donuts. They were perfectly spiced and rolled in sugar. We will be ordering from here when the cravings hit again. read more

My server was amazing. And her attitude and willingness to help with my order is what made an okay experience a great experience. I have an onion allergy and asked for one of the omelettes on the menu to be made without onions. Somehow, a slice of onion or two ended up in the omelette. Not a big deal, but I couldn't eat it. I asked if she would remake it and just use mushrooms and some cheese. They remade it, she was very cheery about it. She checked on me numerous times to ensure all was okay. The food was good, the service was great. It is loud, so maybe some acoustic panels or carpeting would help muffle the noise some. But overall, I would definitely come back. read more

Food was delicious and service was good. I had one of their specialty coffee drinks, but since I'm not fond of coffee, it did not impress me. This is the second time they forget something from my order, this time I went on lunch placed my ordered on the app they took 10 extra minutes for a salad and a drink, and they forgot my ranch, I called and all they could say is "we'll get your order correct next time" like what? And they didn't even give me a straw for my drink. Now I'm picking at this dry salad! Then you hear the manager telling them what to say like he can't get the phone and tell me himself like an actual manager. Wow read more

Came in on a Monday. Restaurant was about 70% capacity. Took about 10 minutes to be seen once sat at the table for our drink order. After the drinks came we were definitely ready to order our food. Horrible service. Operations is a mess. They need to determine a method optimize their operations. It's one thing if it was just our server being bad but beginning to end the overall experience is just a hot mess here. Originally was only going to pay 10% tip but given that our server was trying their best (despite being set up to fail), we changed it to 20% since it wasn't their fault that our experience was unfavorable prior to meeting them at our table. Every encounter you have at this place with a staff member is a "half truth" - We received a text that our table is ready In their records no history of us Had to start from scratch and "25-30 min wait" Next couple that came in, arbitrary "45-60 min wait" No algorithm, they're just throwing out whatever statement We order churros They say sure 30 min pass by and no churros They say since there's a queue it's going to take a while I say that's fine please cancel order and we'll get our check In the process of getting up and just getting our check from the front and finally pay. Less than 2 min later they're back at our table with churros "No need to cancel, look at that! It's ready" 2nd time asking for check "Sure thing" No check We finally get up to walk up to pay without check 1 min later server is rushing up to the front and pulling out check from her pocket .. Ultimately, to get this operations to *react and actually hustle, you need to sprinkle in a bit of challenging, taking your own initiative, getting up and just doing things on your own. Front area is a fire hazard on how people are congregating and waiting with no order or organization. 3 separate "kiosks" where people have no idea where to reserve/claim their reservation, wait for their usher/host, pay, etc How long has this been going on and when will management take notice and actually optimize operations. Servers can't work under these conditions. Customers leave with a horrible impression. The cherry on top was when the male host felt entitled that we left a 20% tip..for this trash experience ... (?!) appalling. Buzz words for this place - management negligence - self entitlement - lack of integrity - lack of operations - horrible service read more

Atmosphere 4/5 Service 3/5 Food 3.5/5 Location 4/5 The pancakes are good but nothing mind blowing. Pretty pricey at $5 each. The wait for a table was not bad, but the wait for food was ridiculous. The two tables next to us waited 45mins for food without any reasoning from the wait staff. My sister and I were not in a rush but we know the pace of most First Watch restuarants and this one is not a good one. Once our food arrived my food looked good but my sister noticed the meet in the gravy did not look cooked so she told the waitress. The waitress came back with a new bowl, but told her the ground meet was precooked which we thought was very odd since it took 40 mins for our food to come out. My sister said it was pretty good but the look of the food made me want to throw up. In the end I will not revisit this location. read more

May 28, 2019 I am so happy I spent my birthday morning here at First Watch! First of all, huge shoutout to my close friends for meeting me here at 7:30 am and driving from the deep ends of Katy to have breakfast with me. We were the first ones to enter the restaurant so we had it all to ourselves! Second, big big BIG shoutout out to Norma with the poppin red lips and amazing smile and personality. She really made my morning extra special. Complete accommodation to my friends and myself. Super patient at 7:30 AM. She made several rounds cause my indecisive group couldn't make a decision on all the great breakfast choices. She gave lots of feedback on what she liked and didn't like. She even let us mix and match pancakes so that we could try different ones. I'm so glad that she let us! I even raved to my friends that the pancakes are good. I've been to the Cypress location and they didn't let me mix and match. So I was surprised that she let us. Regardless, it was amazing. Definitely a great start to spend my birthday. Great service, company, and food! read more
