If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have been waiting on a server that arrived at the same time I arrived to come to the table for 30 mins. Took 15 mins to get my drink. This place is always a little wacky. From the terrible service to dirty tables and floors this place if nothing else is predictable. If you like waiting 20 minutes for drinks and never getting a refill then you have found your place. This place is on a wait on a Monday night at 8pm when the entire restaurant is dead. I can't understand how this location is so terribly managed. If anyone in management reads this I greatly urge you to become more involved in the success of your restaurant. I have been coming to this Location for YEARS! Tonight was the worse experience I have had with Cheddars. They sat my wife and myself in the bar area. Our waiter came up quick but after that service was non existent. Took 12 minutes from her saying I would get a refill till I actually received it. Took close to 15 to actually get mustard (and a small cup of ranch) for my hamburger and fries. It was not busy yet and other waiters were all standing around watching tv. We noticed our waiter, Norma, would talk to other staff while waiting for these simple items. It took longer to get our drinks and condiments than our actual order. I love Cheddars and have many fond memories at this location, but tonight left a very sour taste in our mouths. read more

After talking to the general manager and getting a gift card, I decided to try it again. better than the 1st time. Appetizers was lukewarm( onion rings and spinach dip) Food was hot.however my daughter's Alfredo was cold sent that back. The Server we had was great though. read more

Waited 15 mins at the bar trying to get the bartenders attention so I could get a menu. The whole time he was complaining to customers about how he needed to leave to pick up his son. After we got a menu (at the bar) we waited 15 more minutes waiting for a him to ask us what we wanted to drink. This is the second time I've had bad service at this location. Lunch is always a time crunch so we ordered our food along with our drinks as soon as we got seated. 35 minutes later no salads or food were ready so I requested our plates to go. When the food was finally boxed up & ready I checked it to make sure it was correct and the food was cold. Not luke- warm but cold as if it had been ready for a long while. Unacceptable. Well, where to start... Our server looked like he would rather be somewhere else. We asked for limes and he brought our tea with 4 slices of lemon instead. Ok...no biggie. Our honey butter croissants were cold, our server was pushy, the table was sticky too. Our food arrived in a timely manner, it wasn't cold but it wasn't hot either. Our server didn't bring a single refill, we had to hunt him down for to go boxes and our check. When he brought the slip to sign he stood over my shoulder to wait to pick up his tip. Terrible service from the minute you walk in. The host have an attitude, specially when you ask for the wait time. The serves all seem to be incredibly busy, even when it's practically empty. And anything that you request that wasn't done when they asked you, seems like the most inconvenient thing in the world. I probably saw my waiter 3 times, and when we asked for intensity they didn't even bring the ones that are rolled up in napkins. They brought silver wear on a napkin you can get from the restroom. Let me preface this by admitting that weI did not actually eat at this location. The rating is solely based upon the cleanliness of the establishment. The floor (carpet) appeared that it had not been cleaned / swept / or vacuumed in quite some time. It was literally covered in food and debris from numerous days of patrons. The table we were seated at was dirty and sticky. The seat had grease stains, bits of food on it, and various tears in the covering. Once the "bathroom" smell set in we had had enough and decided not to take our chances with our health regarding the quality of the food. We had seen enough and left. Cheddars is one of my favorite spots , we usually go to the one in greenville but we decided to stop by this location because it's closer to us.This certain location sucked. The service was horrible, i ordered a piña colada and they brought it to me when i had already asked for my tab. We asked for to-go boxes and they brought us little once we asked the lady if they had bigger once and she didn't even bother to check and just told us no. When you walk in the restaurant has an old musty smell to it. Our server was friendly and he did fine taking care of us. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken wraps which is what he always gets at other locations. This location brought out these tiny little "wraps" and they didn't even have prickles like they normally do. The restaurant was gross. I do not understand why I love this particular Cheddar's so much, but I do. Maybe because it is a bit hood but with nice servers. Maybe it is because we can go in with huge parties and they never make us wait to be seated. Maybe it is just because they stick to what they are good at- high caloric food. Either way, I do like this place and although I may not hit it up as a regular spot, I never end up having a bad experience here. I will caution that the desserts can be hit or miss (although you can't go wrong with the Cookie Monster) and the portions are rather huge, so be open to splitting your entree with a friend. read more

I ate at this place today and it was really good. Not to say I haven't ate here before but my experience today was nice. The service was good from beginning to end. My sister new the young lady at the front- (from aways ago) who showed us to our table. Then Kevin- our waiter was nice and attentive. He took our order with a smile and took our checks with a smile. The drinks (flavored tea and lemonade) were disgusting, the waitress said that they had been sent back a lot lately. The food was cold. The tomato had a hair on it. They did not pick up the bread plates or appetizer plates our table was full and they did not try and clear space when our food arrived. They brought out silverware and just laid them on the table. And apologized they weren't wrapped. They took forever for everything. We had to ask for napkins and that was a 10 min wait after finishing our app for napkins. When we told the manager about the missing food and bad service he offered to take 1.99 off our $80 ticket. This place is horrible. The staff smelled like cigarettes. I will not be returning. I came to Cheddar's a few days ago with my mom and I must say the customer service is much better than the customer service in the Togo area. I called the restaurant today to place my Togo order and I was calling for a long time before a girl finally picked up the phone. She was very rude on the phone and this is not the experience I hope to be getting whenever I call and try to place a Togo order. Her attitude was horrible not to mention she was on the phone talking to someone else which is not your job. You are here to work and to be on the phone while you are supposed to be doing your job is the attitude of someone who obviously doesn't need to continue to work in this area where customer service is key. This happened in the evening around 6 or 7 pm on this Monday, July 12th. This girl had the nastiest attitude, placing me on hold to talk on the phone is something that I feel like an establishment should not allow and should immediately be handled. Not to mention I was so caught off guard by her nasty attitude that I was displeased and not even wanting to place a Togo order anymore. This is not the experience I've had at all Cheddar's but this is the experience I had at the Cheddar's off of Hampton and LBJ Freeway. read more

Hadn't been to this location in several years, and tried it for dinner last night. Our waiter was very attentive, and the food was very good (house salad and DELICIOUS chicken pot pie for me, tasty buffalo tenders for hubby). But the conversation level was exceedingly loud. The restaurant is all hard surfaces, brick and wood, and the sound has no way to be absorbed. There were a couple of really boisterous groups near us and it definitely affected our enjoyment of the meal. We might try it once more, but if their clientele is typically this loud, we'll have to find another place. read more
