The place had nice seating and was clean. Parking is hard to get when the plaza is packed! The staff were nice. I got the milk tea and WOW, was it sweet!!! I even got less sweetness. I usually get 70%, but for this store I'd recommend 30%. It was a bit hard to drink due to the sweetness, and you couldn't really taste the tea because of it. I'd be open to trying it again.
ChaTraMue Original Thai Tea showed up on Yelp while I was strolling for a boba shop. i dint realize the significance of this place until I left the shop (reading the cup). We were quickly greeted upon entering. We were directed to order at the kiosk. The tea shop is known for classic Thai milk tea and Thai green milk tea -- unfortunately both wasn't that great. My Thai Green milk tea at 30% was still quite very sweet and taste very artificial! There were other variety of drink options, including specialty teas and rose tea. The ability to customize sweetness levels -- saw a 130% and add toppings at the kiosk was convenient. This month to celebrate Chinese New Year -- each $10 purchases you get a lunar year scratcher ticket that you have until May to redeem.
3.7 stars I've had good Thai tea and it seems like the Thai tea here is good. I don't know if I can say it's the BEST Thai tea I've ever had, but it's decent and I like that the sugar level is adjustable. I ordered it at 30% sugar and thought it was still very sweet. The tea itself is a bit astringent, which I'm not a huge fan of. I used the kiosk, so my interactions with the tea baristas were limited. Prices were reasonable. I'd come back to try other things, but this isn't a location I'd go out of my way for. Bonus points for free parking!
Recently came in for some Thai tea but noticed they got some new seasonal options! I tried their biscoff matcha thai tea which was really good. If you like biscoff cookies then you won't be disappointed. On top of the biscoff crumbs that they put on top of the drink, they'll also give you a biscoff cookie too to dip into the drink. I look forward to getting their other drinks They also have a lunar new year celebration going on right now too. Spend 10 dollars and get a scratcher. Everyone wins. Prizes include: a tumbler (limited supply), BOGO Coupon, a free drink, and one of their many unique tea tins!
Cha Tra Mue have managed to maintain the taste and quality same like in Thailand. It's a daily go to brand tea shop for people in Thailand. I always get Jasmine Thai green milk tea or Rose oolong Milk tea. Tried the Pandan boba with Jasmine green tea it didn't taste anything special or couldn't taste much of pandan. I get butterfly pea Jasmine green tea from Bangkok. Wish you would have that milk tea option on your menu. Service was quick and plenty of space to sit and free WiFi for guests. Just give this place a try for a different kind of Jasmine green Thai milk tea.
It was great to finally try ChaTraMue! I've always relied on buying the leaves but it's a different experience trying how the brand makes it. The store was clean and drinks were ready within ten minutes of me placing the online order. The packaging is cute but I think the lids are badly designed in terms of keeping the liquid from spilling. It wasn't too bad for my drinks since the workers added some parchment paper as a seal. But for people who bought the hot drinks, the lids caused it to spill. The only solution for folks in that case is to remove the lid or the workers need to figure out something else to create a better seal. Especially if it's likely the workers cannot use different packaging. It was also nice to see the tea leaves that you can just buy. I ended up getting the regular Thai Tea leaves for $8 but if the Thai Green Tea came in a smaller tin, I would've gotten it as well. $12 for Thai Green Tea felt a bit too much.
ChaTraMue is located near Shin Sen gumi and Golden Delight. There's plenty of parking but it can get busy at night and on the weekends. They have self-serve kiosks with a great selection of drinks. They had some many drinks and toppings that I haven't seen before. Such as slushy teas and pandan boba! The interior is clean and is a nice place for a brief catch up with a friend. It's not ideal for studying or hangouts for big groups as the tables are small and the music is a little too loud for me to get work done. There was only one longer table for a group. But they do have plenty of outlets if you don't mind the loud music. The matcha was solid, but I don't think it's their specialty. The boba was still warm in my drink and had some good chew to it. The Thai tea was very good. Creamy and strong tea flavor. Would definitely recommend their thai tea. 70% sweet was just right for me if you get boba with it. Unfortunately they ran out of honey pandan boba, so I hope to try it next time.
My husband and I stopped by ChaTraMue for the first time Sunday, 12/21/2025 at around 2:20 PM. I've been wanting to try out this place but just haven't gotten around to it. We ordered the following: Original Thai Tea $6.50 - It was recommended to get 100% sweet, but I felt like that was too sweet for my own liking. I wish you could customize a little more than just 50%, 75%, etc. The drink itself was tasty, classic thai tea flavor, but next time I'll cut down on the sugar. I also am not a fan of the fact that you cannot customize the ice levels since I'm a less ice kind of girl. Lime Lychee Honey Rose Tea $7.25 (prices as of 12/2025) - My husband ordered this. I thought it was funny how they give you plenty of warning signs that rose tea is a laxative. This drink is on the pricier side, and it was sweet, tangy, citrusy, and refreshing. The rose tea did not give potpourri-vibes, and I would definitely consider reordering this, but maybe less sweet as well. Shop Interior: The store was clean, and they had cute Christmas decor all throughout. There were a few seating booths available. It looked like a group of people were studying with their laptops when we came. Customer Service: We ordered through the self-ordering kiosk so not as much interaction with the employees. However, they were nice and courteous. The drinks were prepared pretty quickly. Parking: The shop is located in a popular lot. Although there were plenty of cars coming in and out, there were still parking spots when we came. All in all, I'd be back!
Wow the Thai tea was delicious! The drink was very creamy and sweet at 70%. A classic and familiar flavor. My partner and I almost drank half of it walking back to our car! They also sell tins of their tea leaves if you want to brew the tea at home. It seemed pretty affordable, around $12ish for a tin.
I had a good experience at ChaTraMue (Rosemead). I ordered the Thai Green Milk Tea ($6.50 - Large - 22oz - 70% Sweetness) with Honey Pandan Boba (additional 75 cents). It's a roasted green tea mix with jasmine in condensed milk. It's refreshing & tasty! I arrived at ChaTraMue (Rosemead) on Thursday (around 11:16AM). Parking felt easy since it wraps around the building. I parked in the Empire Commercial Center lot. Staff is professional and welcoming. Customers can order on the two clean self-service kiosks or the counter. I disliked how the kiosks require a cell phone number to proceed; however, it's easy to use. Although Staff interaction felt minimal, I appreciated how Staff put effort towards greeting me. "Have a great day!" she'd exclaim. My drink took three minutes and 42 seconds. Good pace. I appreciated the Thai Green Milk Tea ($6.50 - Large - 22oz - 70% Sweetness) with Honey Pandan Boba (additional 75 cents). There's thoughtful flavors. The milk successfully carried a crisp, fresh tea flavor. Unfortunately, I think 70% sweetness was too strong & sweet since the taste of "sugary cereal milk" eventually became the primary taste. The honey pandan boba felt playful and squishy; however, the texture resembled very soft gummy bears or Gushers. It's enjoyable, but the soft texture could be off-putting. All in all, the drink was thirst quenching and refreshing. Regarding ambiance, ChaTraMue (Rosemead) is a study/work paradise!! There's 10 electrical outlets! Wow!! The location is also very clean and shiny. The location also includes customer internet with password; the information is taped onto the counter's translucent frame. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. The location also felt spacious and well-ventilated. There's nine tables and one tall counter. The seats felt plush and comfortable. Also, strong, clear music echoes within its walls. There's genuine utility hidden within ChaTraMue (Rosemead). Overall, I enjoyed my visit to ChaTraMue (Rosemead). There's thoughtful drinks; the location offers an excellent study/work spot; and staff is friendly. I left happy. 4.8 out of 5
Went around 9 PM on a Saturday night and the plaza this shop is in was packed. Finding parking was kind of a nightmare, but once we got inside, the vibe was super cute and cozy. You order at a kiosk, which was easy to use. I got a bucket of Thai tea with boba and a sala milk. First off, the bucket was adorable. I don't know why, but carrying around a literal bucket of Thai tea brought me so much joy. I'm a sucker for gimmicky or fun presentation, and this one really did it for me. Flavor-wise, the Thai tea was good, but I like a stronger tea taste. It felt like a 50/50 milk-to-tea ratio, and I'd prefer something more like 70/30. Still, the drink was refreshing, and the boba was perfectly cooked -- chewy, flavorful, and even my girlfriend (who doesn't usually like boba) liked it. The sala milk was interesting. It reminded me of a slightly floral strawberry milk. The flavor was good, but not something I'd personally crave again -- just not for me, even though I could see others loving it. Despite the busy night and tight parking situation, the drinks came out quickly and the staff was efficient and friendly. I'd 100% go back -- mostly for the Thai tea bucket again because that container was just too fun to resist.
The Chinatown location is better but the Thai tea slushie with cream cheese foam was phenomenal. I loved that even with all the cream cheese foam and egg pudding I added to it that I could still get the strong Thai tea flavor. I wish the slushie came in a bigger cup and that there was more of the Thai tea. However I still think the Chinatown location is better since they have the Thai tea floats and the ice cream which is the best thing I've ever had.
The OG Thai tea. I personally don't like thai tea that much so I opted for milk green tea and plum red tea. Both were delicious and probably some of the best milk green tea I have had recently. I also picked up some thai tea bags for a gift. read more
Freshly made thai tea and they also have milk teas, lattes, slushies, and plain fresh teas. We ordered both green milk thai tea and regular thai tea lattes and it was basically their strong thai tea with milk, and mixed becomes a milk tea but a lighter version. I enjoyed it and for a $6.25 regular size was a bit pricey but we decided to try in the area. Their pandan boba that it came with was alright but can be cooked a bit more. If you are craving a thai tea this is a good spot to get some and to sit and chill. There is plenty of parking as it is shared in the same plaza as 888 restaurant. read more

We came an hour before closing and there wasn't any line so we got our drinks fast. The shop is clean as it is fairly new. We ordered the thai tea slushee with cream cheese foam and it was tasty. Thai lime tea was refreshing! Service was friendly. We appreciated the cute drawings. read more
First time visiting this original Thai Tea place after having it on a to-try list! It's located inside a plaza, turn right into the parking lot after the Ji Rong sign! There was no wait on a Thursday afternoon. Super cute inside, the interior is perfect for studying or to just sit and enjoy your drink. There are outlets along the side of the bench too! I ordered their original Thai Tea at 70% sweetness, and upgraded my size from 16oz to 22 for an additional $1, making my drink a total of $6.50. Personally even at 70% sweetness I thought it was a little much. I can definitely taste the strength in the tea, it is very smooth and it was prepared super quick! Plus, the cup I got was decorated with a super cute drawing! If I ever want my Thai tea fix I'd definitely come again! read more
I was so intrigued by this place, because I've never really seen a tea place that's specifically for Thai tea. I've heard lots of good things but had my reservations as I'm lactose intolerant and didn't want to have to deal with a case of the runs since I had plans for the remaining of the day. Luckily for me, there's oat milk options as part of their vegan series! I came with a group, so while I ordered the Thai Green Tea with oat milk, I tried a few sips from my friend who ordered the original thai tea which is their signature. While of course the regular milk drink is tastier, I think the oat milk version is pretty good as well. The oat milk is not watered down or very "oat-y," so there's no distinct oat taste that interferes with the tea. I added egg pudding as a topping, which is my favorite, but next time I'll try the honey boba. I'm also curious about the pandan boba. I always go for 30% sweetness which I think is not too sweet :) The store is a small one with some indoor seating in small tables for 2-3 people each, but typically you'll take it to go. The decor is cute. You can either order at the two iPad kiosks or at the cash register. The service is friendly and the drinks are made relatively quickly. Prices are reasonable imo. I love that it's next to Good Alley. There's also Golden Deli and Shinsengumi in the same plaza, so parking can get really busy during peak weekend hours. After eating at one of these places, you can stop pop by for a drink after your meal! read more
A tour guide in Thailand a few years back introduced me to this place as a must over there and I'm glad it came to California! I had to come here to drink it again! I've bought their tea leaves and their "tea filter sock" over in Thailand and still make it at home every now and then. But it cant beat going to the physical ChaTraMue location and order their drinks. Their thai tea is strong and flavorful, but this time I tried their Green Thai Tea. It was a tad sweet, but very good. There is a kiosk for ordering and it's funny they advise their Rose teas are a laxative and suggest to be near a restroom in 1-2 hours. I didn't order it, but one day! Will come here again for the yummy drinks and to remind myself of my trip to Thailand ! read more
dudeeeee, they weren't lying when they said this was the best spot for thai tea. If you like great thai tea, you won't be disappointed here. What's also amazing is the pandan boba, game changer. Green thai tea is much more floral tasting, so if you ain't in to that, stick with the original. They got a couple tables in here, and could be an option to study or get some work done. When we went to Thailand there were a couple tea places that we really liked, one of which being ChaTraMue. We were surprised to see a location in the Rosemead area and we stopped by to see if it was similar to what we had. This location is in a plaza with a decent amount of parking. You order at the kiosk and they will call your name when your order is ready. We ordered the original Thai tea ($5.50) and the Thai green milk tea ($5.50). Both tasted really good and were similar if not exactly what I remembered having in Thailand. I preferred the Thai green milk tea in Thailand and I preferred it this time too. We got 100% sweetness for both and they were great and not too sweet for me. The larger size was an extra dollar and boba was an extra 65 cents so each drink was a total of $7+ which can be a lot to stomach for boba. Flavor wise though, this was spot on and is worth the extra spend to get what I enjoyed so much in Thailand. read more
Overall rating: 3.2 (off chance I would come back by myself but would come back with others) As much as I want to give them five stars, my boba shop ratings these days can be quite harsh with my current rating system. This is in no way to denigrate their drink quality. I just have extremely particular taste when it comes to boba/tea these days. I went with the Thai tea at 30% sweetness and with brown sugar jelly. The drink was very smooth which is certainly why this place is the place to get Thai tea. I almost would prefer the tea flavor to be even stronger (maybe it's just my preference for plain tea over milk teas). It was pleasant but for my own palate somewhat forgettable. What was interesting though was how the brown sugar jelly was shaped into little diamonds/gems. It's easy to miss this detail but I love when I see little nuances like this. I did not like that the jelly floated, however, and would prefer if it was able to sit at the bottom of the cup for drinking logistics. I also could have done with less ice but the ice level wasn't bad at all. Other service related notes: I asked about the texture of the brown sugar jelly (whether it was softer or chewier) and they said it's like the agar jelly (softer). Also they wrote/drew a little thing like what trended with Starbucks after their recent management change which was cute. I might come back at some point to try the pandan flavored boba since that is unique, potentially updating my rating then. But for now, there's a low chance I will return on my own. read more
Thai Slushie: One of their signature drinks, So good. I've noticed that they sell it on weekends and are sold out on weekdays. Their tea is a lot more stronger and sweeter in the slushie form. Thaicoa with Boba: Thai tea with chocolate flavor combo, reminds me of drinking cocoa with caffeine. Tastes interesting but personally not my cup of tea. Boba tastes freshly made and the texture is so soft. Thai Green Milk Tea with Pandan Boba: One of their signature drinks. You can taste both the green tea and Thai tea, the dairy and flavor is more on the lighter side compared to Seaside Bakery's green Thai tea. Their Pandan boba is made fresh, lightly flavored, and the texture is also soft and bouncy. read more
Background On Visit: Heard great things about the shop and decided that I needed to patronized the shop for myself. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Restrooms: One unisex restroom that you can use. Location/Parking: Located in the Empire Commercial Center plaza. It's on the same side as SHIN-SEN-GUMI and Good Alley, Order Of Operations 1) Order your drinks from the self ordering kiosk or at the register 2) Wait for your drink to be done and either stay at the shop or go on to your next destination. Ambiance/Decor: Nice ambiance with modern furnishings. There's about 5 small tables, a table that seats 4, and couple of bar seats in the front. Service: Service was good. The staffers were friendly, offered some suggestions, and drinks didn't take long to get ready. Drink Of Choice: I got the 2 out of 3 top drinks. Please note that the tax on the drinks are already accounted for in the price. 2 Ways to find out the price of the drinks is to either use the self ordering kiosk, ask the staffer manning the register, or looking at the price on their website. 1) Thai Green Milk Tea: Made from a special roasted green tea mix with jasmine. Loved the floral smell, but tasted light and a bit watered down. I was hoping to taste more of the tea with 30% sweet. 2) Thai Lemon Tea with no sugar and extra sour: Similar to the HK lemon tea, this was a great delightful drink to have. I asked for extra sour and true to form it was tart and most importantly I was able to taste the black tea. ChaTraMue For Thought: I wouldn't mind giving them another chance. read more
If you like Thai iced tea then this should be your new go to spot!! I personally am not a huge fan of Thai iced tea bc they're usually way too sweet and leaves my mouth feeling dry. This one was different in a good way. You can choose your sweetness level even down to 15% which I love. Also got the yuzu green tea which has goji berries and jelly but you can select without it. This was soooo refreshing. I liked it a lot as well. Parking is shared with other establishments such as golden delight and good alley restaurants. Can eat there and then try this spot for drinks after. Plenty of parking spaces available. read more
ChaTraMue Original Thai Tea's second location in California (and the US), the first one is in the same plaza as LAX-C (AKA Asian Costco). You can find this location in the same plaza as Good Alley. My husband and I came to visit during their grand opening, in which they had a buy one, get one free selected drink special. We arrived on a Saturday, evening, around 6 pm. We ended up purchasing: Original Thai Tea, $5.50 + $1 large size- I ordered this drink to be made with 30% sweetener (they only do 70, 30 and zero). Was not able to adjust the ice level during the grand opening. I did not consume this drink on the same day I purchased but I thought the drink was good. The Thai tea had good flavor. The sweetness level was also just fine for me (I usually order 25- 50% sweetness level at other tea houses, just to give you an idea). Thai Green Milk Tea $5.50 + $1 large size- Of the two that I ordered, I liked this one the best, which I find to be interesting because I don't normally like green tea but like matcha though. The flavor was really good actually. I also ordered this drink to be made with 30% sweetener, which I also thought was the perfect sweetness level for me. ------------------------------ My husband also ordered the same above with the same sweetness level and also liked both. But did prefer the Thai green milk tea as well. I think we both felt it had a nice bold strong flavor over the original Thai tea. A friend of mine, who is part Thai (and goes back home often) told me that ChaTraMue is the most popular tea brand in Thailand (although she isn't sure if they have a tea house in Thailand). With the flavors of our tea, I can see why. I would definitely come back and also recommend paying the $1 extra for the larger size. Please note that there is seating with tables inside this tea house and the unisex restroom that I used was clean during our visit. read more
Legit Thai tea place that migrated over from Thailand. Teas are strong and drink sizes are good. On the sweeter side, but can just sweetness and ice levels. Definitely will be back to try more drinks on the menu. Shared parking lot, can be a hassle to find parking sometime during peak hours. read more

Really fast service. Located next to Good Alley in a small strip mall that I want to go back to, to try other foods. Teas from Thailand! Might get some of those tea leaves/bags? from the tin next time. The drinks were overall good, BUT my vegan oat milk green thai tea was way sweeter than my husband's regular thai green milk tea. Too sweet even with ice. Both were 100% sweetness as was recommended. But maybe because the og flavor can be made in the large size, whereas my vegan only came in 1 smaller size, this affected the sweetness level? The boba was nicer than the jellies, had better texture and soft + chewy. I would maybe get this vegan flavor again but definitely at least 50% sweetness or lower. Also, it was more expensive than the regular milk and smaller too. So I dunno. Would definitely try their other tea drinks, like the Rose flavors! They have iPad ordering kiosks. We came at a good time just before it got super super busy on Easter Sunday night. Like 30 people showed up out of nowhere lol read more
Best Thai tea! Not too sweet, can taste the tea flavor, and leaves your mouth a little dry. I tried coming for their grand opening but didn't want to wait in their massive line. I'm glad I tried again because there was no line and only waited 5 mins for the drinks to be made. I opted for the large which was a dollar extra ($6.50 total) and it was worth it. I might get boba next time. I got it at 100% sweetness which was fine for me but if you'd like it less sweet I'd recommend 70%. read more
Came by again and the self ordering system is so efficient even with a line out the door. I got the same thai tea with pandan boba and the pandan boba was alot better than last time I was here. It was soft chewy and had the perfect consistency. Tried something new the thai lemon iced tea and it was pretty good if you like fruity tart tea! Also tried the rose drink which has a pretty heavy floral rose taste. It wasnt my favorite but I can see someone who likes rose alot enjoy this drink. read more
Been here a couple of times. Parking can be a little difficult because of the restaurants in the plaza. You can order at the counter or at the kiosk. I usually come during a weekday around lunch and there usually isn't a line. There's ample seating if you want to come here and hang out for a while. I usually get my drink and leave. Service is was good and no complaints. read more
Friend suggest that we come check out the newest location of ChaTraMue that opened up in San Gabriel Valley. The shop is located in the same plaza as Shin-Sen-Gumi with a big parking lot. Just try to avoid it during peak dining hours as it is a pain to get in and out of this parking lot. They have a self-ordering kiosk and staff prepared the drinks fairly quickly. There are a few tables that you can sit and chat, but it is not a good spot to work from home or self-studies. Menu is simple and they do have warnings about "acquired taste" on their plum selection, and "laxative warning" on their rose tea selection. I opted for their Original Thai Green Tea with Pandan Boba. While I ordered the drink on 70% sweetness level, I cringed when I took my first sip as it was too sweet for me. Was glad I was able to try it, but would probably pass if my friends want to come here again. read more

I'm so glad I got to try this boba shop! The Original thai tea brand from Thailand! We tried the green milk tea, thai milk tea, and the hojicha latte. I got them 70% sweet and they were still really sweet. You cannot go wrong with the classic thai milk tea, and the thai green milk tea is such a good alternative option. You can taste the freshness of each tea. I am not a big fan of boba, but the pandan boba topping really caught my attention. It paired really well in the thai green milk tea. You place your order on a kiosk and my order came out in less than 2 minutes. The interior was clean and has plenty of seating. The menu is a decent size and I would like to come back for their regular clear teas rather than a milk tea :) I like this location because the parking is so easy!! read more
This place is legit for their Thai tea! Located in a plaza with a parking lot. The interior is a bit small with some tables indoors. It seems like it's kiosk-only for ordering when we went. I tried the classic Thai tea with regular boba & green Thai tea with pandan boba, the tea flavors really stand out in these drinks. I don't like my drinks very sweet & got 30% sugar which was perfect for me. The pandan boba was sooo good too! I wish I ordered that but now I know for next time. Wish this could be my go-to spot for Thai tea but they're not in the bay unfortunately! read more

#106 in my Teaholic Diaries. ChaTraMue serves up authentic Thai tea made from their own tea blends, which they also sell worldwide. I actually ordered their Thai tea leaves before to make at home, and I only just realized they have their own tea houses too! I finally had a chance to stop by after work, and though I wanted to try everything on the menu, I forced myself to stop after three. Haha. I ordered their signature Thai tea, green Thai tea with cheese foam, and a honey rose tea. The honey rose tea was by far the winner! It's an oolong tea with rose flavor made from real rose petals and sweetened with honey. The drink was delightful, with a lovely essence and delicate fragrance. The Green Thai tea was solid and everything I expected it to be. For those who haven't had green Thai tea before, it's prepared the same way as a classic Thai tea, but with a jasmine green tea base instead of black tea. The drink is more floral compared to the bolder warmer taste of a classic Thai tea, but it's just as creamy and sweet as the classic version. On that note, I surprisingly didn't care for their classic Thai tea, which was milkier than I would have liked - I would have preferred a stronger tea flavor. All in all, ChaTraMue didn't make it to my favorites list, but it was still worth checking out. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. This brand is the OG thai tea spot from Thailand. They had their first location in California in DTLA, but so glad they have a location in 626 now. It's located in a plaza with other restaurants and a large parking lot, so great stop to grab a drink before or after your meal. When I came by on a Saturday, it was quite busy. There's plenty of tables and seating although it was all filled up. I ordered their popular Original Thai Tea in large ($5.95) and Green Thai Tea with Pandan Boba ($6.60). Both were at a 30% sweetness since Thai tea can usually get too sweet for me, so this was perfect! They are known for their Thai tea, so that's a must get here. It's delicious and makes a great alternative to all the boba/tea spots in the neighborhood. They even sell the tea for you to make yourself at home too. read more

Exceptionally refreshing, with a bold citrus punch that cuts cleanly through the tea's tannins. The 70% sweetness balanced the tartness beautifully, making it even more vibrant than a traditional HK lemon tea. Ideal for hot days or a palate reset. Signature Thai Milk Tea: Still a creamy classic. Rich and sweet with a nostalgic flavor. Quick Service & Bright Atmosphere: Service was prompt and the space is sleek and photo-friendly. Areas for Improvement Sweetness Customization Not Always Clear: While you can adjust sweetness, it's not prominently advertised. First-time customers might miss it. Limited Indoor Seating: Mostly a grab-and-go setup. Not ideal if you're looking to linger. Was so excited to be able to have a taste of ChaTraMue's refreshing drinks! I had the original Thai Milk Tea, and the creaminess of the drink was so delicious! We were advised to keep the sweetness at 100% as it alters the cream content of the drink. The staff at the front was very helpful, and the cafe was very spacious. Would visit again! read more
OMG this place is AWESOME!!!!! It is now our favorite boba tea shop in the SGV! Not only are their teas strong, drinks not too sweet, but their Pandan bobas are 100% on point!! We're so glad they opened this location in the SGV area and we don't have to go to DTLA or OC areas for it. Our go to orders are the Lychee Green Tea with Pandan Boba, Mango Green Tea, & Green Thai Tea with Pandan Boba. All 3 drinks are so delicious and totally hits the spot. We love the flavors of their green Thai tea and their fruit teas. It tasted very authentic and not artificial at all. Definitely need to try their latte drinks and other drinks too. They are located in the same plaza as Golden Delight #2 and right next to Good Alley. Plenty of parking in the lot, but there is some traffic entering and exiting the lot tho. Very quick and nice service. Cute decor inside too. Definitely a must try shop and their drinks are not overpriced like other boba shops. Totally worth it!! read more
A new spot to check out! I came here at about 2 pm, so I was able to find parking easily. There are only a few tables and chairs inside, and it fills up fast! There are two kiosks for ordering, or you can order at the counter. The process was easy-input your phone number to get the text when the drink is ready in case you can't here them call out your name. I got the vegan Rose Milk Tea and Matcha Milk Tea that came with the agar jelly. Both were at 100% sweetness, but the matcha one was definitely better! I would prefer that the drinks come with less ice. read more
YES!! Finally don't have to make the trek all the way to LA to get some deliciously yummy Thai tea! I'm glad that one has opened up in the 626. They're currently in their soft open mode, so they don't have the turbo late hours as the LA location has (closing at 8 PM instead of 10 PM or 12 AM) and they don't seem to have the soft serve here yet either. I'm praying that they keep the super late hours as so many boba places are closing way too early especially if you're craving a sweet treat after a later dinner or wanna hang out with friends. ChaTraMue has taken up residence at where I believe the old Sky Boba was at and really gave it a face lift. Looks quite fancy inside like a nice boutique shop and with the aesthetics of the packaged tea tins matching as well (the wall of tea tins is very cute!). You can order either via the kiosk or you can order at the counter with the worker who was pretty speedy and friendly. My friends and I came here on a Monday night and it wasn't too crowded at all. Can't say what it's like on a weekend. I got one of my go to's here, their Green Thai Tea, (get the large size, you won't regret it and you'll get some hearts on your label too - cute touch) with their pandan boba. I just wanted an extra sweet treat, so the boba is not a must for me. Even at 70% sweetness, I think it's the perfect level. Nice sweet, slightly floral taste and strong Thai tea flavor, you know it's that pure good stuff. Definitely will come back, seeing as I've been back to their other location so many other times already! read more

I've been wanting to try ChaTraMue in LA, but I never felt like making the trip. Luckily, while having lunch in Rosemead, I checked Yelp for nearby boba spots and discovered they had opened a second location there--much more convenient for me, plus plenty of parking. I ordered the Thai lemon tea with extra lemon, and it was just okay. This might sound strange, but it had a sweet, Fruity Pebbles-like aftertaste. My friend got the Thai green tea, which I thought was a better choice than mine. They also sell packaged tea leaves if you want to brew it fresh at home. Overall, not bad, but I wouldn't get the Thai lemon tea again--I'll try something different next time. read more
Great place for Thai tea and Thai tea leaves. I got the green Thai tea and it has a strong tea flavor. Has a good ratio of milk and sweetness. The pandan boba has chewy texture and was warm. The sour plum is sour and even has a warning when placing an order. Perfect if you are a fan of those dried sour plums. Made the tea leaves at home with condensed milk and evaporated milk. Tastes similar to the store and have more flexibility to adjust to my likings. Ordered in kiosk and picked up fairly quickly. Some seating inside with plenty of parking outside. read more

I ordered their signature Thai iced tea, and it did not disappoint. The flavor is a little different from other places, in a good way. I also really like their cups; they add a nice touch. Plenty of parking, wifi available, limited seating LOVE LOVE LOVE the service here, always greeted when walking in and they always ask if the drink is good and if we need to make any modifications. High quality tea and service + reasonably priced drinks! Green Thai Tea 10/10 ALWAYS hits even at 50/75% sweet Thai Tea 10/10 My friend and I come by at least once a month and the drinks are consistently good each time, we love this spot!! We had to try the famous original Thai tea from ChaTraMue so we made a trip during a rainy day. We weren't the only ones with that idea. Ordering is at the tablet, but there's a large menu behind the counter and right as you walk in as well. They are known for their Thai tea and their green Thai Tea, which has matcha flavor in it. They also have other teas such as rose tea which are supposed to have a laxative effect. I'm not sure how strong it is, but the yuzu rose tea did catch my eyes. Based on other yelpers' reviews who said the Thai teas are too sweet, we tried the original Thai tea and green Thai tea at 30% sweetness. IMO, they were not very good at 30% sweetness because all I could taste was the milk and tannin. We asked to have the sugar level adjusted, and they automatically switched it to 70% sweetness (also what is recommended by them) and they tasted way better. Perhaps I'm just used to Thai teas on the sweeter side. But in general, I thought the Thai tea was just OK. The green Thai tea has less tannin flavor and is more subtle, so I might prefer that over the original Thai tea. Overall, I would return to try the other non-Thai tea drinks, such as the Yuzu rose tea! read more
