Impromptu happy hour here at the Chart House! Nice happy hour deals on cocktails and food. Service was phenomenal. Views were great and so was the music. We sat at hightop tables near the bar. There is a tv for sporting events. Everything thing was delicious for the most part! The salmon dish topped with crab could have used a bit more salt/seasoning and I just am not a fan of the coconut rice but my bf loved it. My favorites were the salad bar options, calamari, and the truffle fries. They offer bread with entree complementary. We did a $59 entree that comes with salad bar and dessert. The lava cake is the best! Definitely would come back.

Chart House is absolutely stunning -- the views, the vibe, the whole atmosphere had me thinking this appetizer was about to be a hit. But unfortunately...the calamari did not get the memo. The dish came out already drenched in sauce, which instantly took away any chance of crispiness. Instead of that light crunch you hope for, everything was a little chewy and soggy, and the sauce kind of overwhelmed the whole plate. Honestly, it looked more like a tossed stir-fry than a classic calamari appetizer. Beautiful restaurant, yes. Gorgeous ambiance, absolutely. But this calamari? Not their strongest moment. I'd definitely try something else next time. Service was okay but I was not impressed.

We celebrate our 5 year anniversary by having dinner at the Chart House overlooking the St John's River. The salad bar offered a variety of salad options with fresh fruit and vegetables. I enjoyed the seared salmon did not care for the mango rice was hard maybe not cooked all the way. My husband enjoyed steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes. Stefanie was a great server. She went over menu options and wine selection. The lava cake with peanut butter ice cream was delicious. Thank you Chart House for the customized menu celebration of our anniversary and complimentary red velvet cake.

It's such a cool place with an amazing view. The service has always been good. The food is decent. The happy hour is great! Highly recommend the pomegranate martini and truffle fries. The ahi tuna nachos are just okay The carbonara isn't as heavy as you'd expect and has some pretty good chunks of lobster. The grouper and mango sticky rice were good as well.

I've wanted to go to the chart house for years. I had to go downtown early weekday evening and decided to stop in for happy hour with a few friends. The chart house has a nice large parking lot. The building reminds me of an aquarium with its stone and concrete and rounded walls. We went right to the bar area. It was quite crowded, but we managed to grab a small high top for four. This place has beautiful views of the water, but unfortunately, you can't see them when sitting in the bar area. I did take a walk around the restaurant and I saw a very nice salad bar in the middle of the restaurant. I was also able to see the seating arrangements at the window where you can take advantage of the view. I'm keeping that area in mind from my next visit. Happy hour here last for several hours so there's no need to rush. It took a while for a server to recognize us but once he did, we received excellent service. Our drinks and food were excellent, but the high top tables are very tight. So if you order more than two items and drinks it's really cramped. My vodka martini with blue cheese olives was delicious. I actually asked the server if I could have one or two more and he told me they didn't have enough because they stuffed them themselves. I thought this was kind of a weird answer because I've always asked for extra blue cheese olives wherever I go, and I have never heard an answer like this . Perhaps he could've scrounged up one more olive? Chart House had many specials at happy hour which included yummy truffle fries served in an upright cone basket. We also had coconut shrimp & some beef sliders as well as, warm spinach dip. The spinach dip was the only disappointment and I would not order it again. I'm looking forward to coming back for a proper meal and sitting at one of the tables by the window.

We originally were going to Ruth Chris but plans changed -- and I was pleasantly surprised with our plan b. We ended up doing Happy hour which was tops. They had a great menu with a variety of options for food and drinks at different price points. We had the lettuce wraps, kimchee calamari and the sliders. We liked everything but my fave was the calamari. Service was amazing.

Amazing happy hour! It gets crowded so get there early or be okay with standing! The view across the street John's River is gorgeous (minus the jail). The service was phenomenal even though they were overwhelmed. The truffle fries and the spinach artichoke dip were good!

Matt, Priscilla, and Haze provided great service that was very professional. The view of the river and downtown Jacksonville was spectacular. The prime rib and clam chowder were just fine amazing. The lobster bisque soup, shrimp entrée and salmon were also on point. A very delicious and delightful dining experience !

First let me start with Taylor our server was fantastic. Prompt, polite, friendly - he was spot on. The ambiance was as we remembered it but with a few updates. They kept the same vibe and Chart house has been here since 1982 so it's no accident they are successful. For a Wednesday night, while it wasn't full, it was still pretty busy. We came to experience the Mo-better together November (2024) special. The Chart House family is teaming up with Movember Foundation to support men's health. $5 from every meal will be donated to Movember Foundation. For $90, you choose an appetizer, entree, and side to share, then you finish with a shared chocolate lava cake with freshly made home made ice cream. They ask you what flavor from vanilla, pumpkin, vanilla, or maple pecan when you order because they have to make it when it's ready to be served. We were skeptical but took a chance at this meal and let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised. We did decide to add on the salad bar which for me was a no brainer. Ample options for building a salad, but also constructed Caesar salad available on the bar. Also had some fruit options and a caviar section which I enjoyed. We also had some cocktails and the meal was accompanied by complimentary bread. Pictured is my chocolate and bourbon old fashioned. Our choice of the raw bar appetizer came with 4 oysters, 4 extra large cocktail shrimp, and I would estimate about a 2 oz portion of poke. Our entree' was a filet mignon and shrimp skewer which arrived on a hanging skewer presentation and served table side. Probably 8 oz filet and 4 jumbo shrimp. The side we chose was smashed fingerlings which we both had a serving each. The chocolate lava cake was a great finish. I did take home some filet, shrimp, and fingerlings for lunch tomorrow so serving sizes were more than adequate. Kudos to Chart House for keeping it going strong!

The Cove offers so much: daily coffee service, cooking and cake-decorating classes in "The Lab," yoga and meditation on Wellness Wednesdays, Social Sundays focused on mindfulness and connection, and even Art & Wine nights where you can sip, snack, and paint while listening to live music. They're also about to open Sticks & Stones, a private cigar club next door that will be available to members -- it's going to be such a great addition to the experience. The next membership cohort begins November 1st, and spots are limited to just 150 members to keep things community-focused and personal. Such a RED FLAG! Before we signed our contract, it was Clay who was the venue manager at the time and he was incredible. Six months prior, I reached out with a question then was shared that Andrea was the new venue manager. Two months before the wedding Andrea had such poor communication and there were changes with the venue offerings that were not shared with me until I asked for certain furniture but found they didn't offer those items any more. Such another huge red flag on your end as a venue to not even reach out to me to discuss or apologize for your horrible venue manager, Andrea, for her behavior DURING my wedding at The Glass Factory. Within minutes of leaving the ceremony with my husband Andrea barges into the room about a problem with one of my guests. Andrea shared that my guest was unhappy that she was not let in for the ceremony when I in fact instructed all vendors to allow entry for guests during my ceremony but to leave them in the back inside of the venue near the entry door. My family friend missed the ENTIRE ceremony and Andrea was so loud and disruptive during my first alone time with my husband. RED FLAGS. I asked Andrea for her to apologize to my guest and she said no. My husband had to tell her she needed to leave the room because she was causing me so much anxiety and I was on the brink of tears because she was stressing me out so much. Attached you'll find information sent from my coordinator to all vendors which included Andrea the venue manager for the Glass Factory in Jacksonville, FL. My wedding was in early March and the venue was fairly warm as well. Very unique venue but if I could do my wedding all over again, I wish I could have chosen a different venue due to my experience with Andrea and The Glass Factory. I beg you to never get married here!!!!
