    Daily lunch specials

Ventured into Charro El Tío today for brunch and had a great first experience. So glad to see something take over in the old Taco Taco spot. The restaurant has been completely cleaned up and refreshed and had a good crowd on Sunday between 10a-11a- nearly all tables filled. Sit wherever you like and order at your table - service is excellent. The specials for Sunday were pozole and menudo. We ordered the pozole and enjoyed it along w nopal and egg taco and bean and cheese- all delicious on homemade flour tortillas. They brought out three salsas for the table. A solid addition to the neighborhood after losing Taco Taco! Parking lot and street parking in the back on E Ridgewood.

Glad to have a new spot move into the area. I dropped in for breakfast tacos. The restaurant has been updated, the staff was fast and friendly and the food good. I ordered bean and cheese, bacon and egg and bean and bacon tacos and all were very good and fresh.

The food and the service are great. I really enjoy the combination burrito. The salsas are also very good and full of flavor.

Opened the door and stepped into a modern, innovative designed restaurant. Immediately warmly greeted by the manager, Ryan, who instructed us about the ordering. Order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. The menu is diverse and well balanced, something for everyone, even the pickiest child. We tried 2 of their signature dishes the roasted chicken and the wagyu meatball pasta. The food was incredible! Sliced into the juiciest chicken seasoned to perfection with fresh herbs. The wagyu meatball pasta tasted like it was homemade from grandma. The amazing service extended beyond the manger to the waitstaff and cooks. All standing by to make sure they exceeded our expectations. After having food therapy, we thanked everyone for a memorable experience. Ryan then proceeded to offer a free dessert on the house. Wow! What an amazingly generous offer that we couldn't refuse. Chocolate layered cake to finish off one amazing date night. We've added a few photos to remember the experience!

The appetizers were so good that we couldn't decide, so we ordered three to share! Instead, we ordered the steak and the double pepperoni pizza, and both were absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to our waitress, Serena, who provided amazing service and made our experience even better. My second visit was when I took my mom for a Mother's Day Brunch and we both loved it as well. I just love the vibe at Primos! If only I lived closer to the area, I would easily be a usual at Primos! But for now, I look forward to my next visit. Hopefully I can find some time soon as I am craving the calamari and ravioli!

As far as entrees we ordered the Spice Route Beets were vibrant and flavorful. We added salmon on the side. We also ordered the Pharm Kitchari (with chicken sausage added) was wholesome and well balanced. Oh and the vanilla bean mesquite latte is sooo darn delicious. I had two and still want more. Apparently, she has been here many times already with her husband and some of their good friends :) ! We came on a Friday before the Happy Hour specials ended at 6:30 pm this :) ! I loved my Aphrodite Spritz :D ! My friend ordered the Athena Dion and the Santorini Bikini :) ! For our Happy Hour dishes, we ordered the Tirshi (butternut squash, harissa, and pepita chili crisp), the Dakos (marinated Texas heirloom tomatos, sourdough croutons, black olive salt, tulum and fresh Za' atar) and the Olive Oil Cake :) ! We really loved how a lot of the cocktail drinks and delicious dishes are Greek - themed ;) ! Our waiter was extremely attentive, friendly and prompt :) ! The ambiance is absolutely perfect for anyone to eat there solo, or with friends and family :) ! There is seating both outside and inside. For my first time there, we sat outside on the second level. If it wasn't so hot and humid, it would have been nice sitting outside. I would have preferred to sit inside during the summer. Except when we went, it was already early Friday evening, and most of the indoor seating at the bars and tables were taken. I would highly recommend this Mediterranean restaurant to anyone :D ! Their Happy Hour prices are extremely reasonable :) ! Although, I wouldn't mind coming back for their regular non-Happy Hour dining too :D !

I also love the spacious outdoor seating with covered playground for kiddos!! The two main issues I had are the pricing for amount of food (way overpriced for tiny portions of average food) and secondly everything is dirty/sticky. It gives dive bar vibes which is fine but for a family friendly place it is very grimey. Also side note, the homemade "ginger ale" tastes like straight ginger soaked in water so I'd recommend against ordering that.
